It was nice to see a Warhammer story that actually handled Be'lakor right. It seems like in a lot of GW books, he's basically the daemon equivalent of Abaddon; someone who we're constantly told is a badass, but never seems to succeed at anything he does. Capturing a god, manipulating one of that god's servants into mortally wounding him, and then feasting on his power is the sort of thing I'd expect a daemon of Be'lakor's reputation to do.

Chaos? man these people just want shelter and food, they aren't that bad" Prince Yuri 80 turns in: "WHERE IS THAT DAMN BEAR GAWD!?" Prince Yuri 90 turns in: "I RENOUNCE YOUUUUUU!!!!"
I mean, tbf, the deamon of the shadows was whispering in his ear and feeding his corruption straight through him, that sword was basically the ring in LOTR, only the strongest could have resisted, only the best could have seen through the lie. Still sad tho

Wish they made him more impressive for the battles, i like that ghastly form
