Wow Marty that is a beautiful slot car .. proper classic style 👌 and they certainly built it to a very high standard not just the body but the chassis components
Absolutely beautiful! . Is it a Revoslot in disguise? Definitely want one. I would also order the Aston Martin DB4. I was lucky enough to be a passenger in one of those.. A local car dealer had one. RIP Dave Morris.
Hey Marty. Thanks for your message. I would like to understand further about the differences between the Revoslot design and MRSlotcar approach. The fact that Revoslot used to be the only 1/32 manufacturer that used a metal chassis and now MR Slotcar have adopted a very similar approach suggested copying. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing because the extra weight low down makes the slot cars more stable . I appreciate that you only had the prototype on loan, but if you could possibly cover the differences on your 2 Lines Tuesday night stream, I and possibly more could learn more about those differences. Just wish that the show was a bit earlier as I’m not able to burn the candle at both ends 🙈😂. Thanks Kind regards Lewis.
Hi Marty, Thanks for identifying the differences between Revoslot and the MRslotcar chassis. Different material for the motor pod and possibly more flexibility in the MR Slotcar approach. I now have one on pre order so will be interesting to see how it runs. I think it’s more likely that the Aston Martin will be a DB4 because that is more in line with the C1 in terms of timing of model… But.. we will see. Keep up the great work. I sometimes wish I was based in the USA to keep up with you guys.🙈😂. I will definitely get the DB4 if released.
Fabulous model, have it on pre order here in the UK. Saw it at Gaydon .😋 Don't want to nit pick but it wasn't the Le Mans overall winner , it was the 5.0 litre class winner .
Sweet car ! I wish we had more variety in the older American muscle cars, instead of so many European cars, just my opinion, so half my collection are the oldie but goodies and of course you gotta have Carrera ,and Scalextric, which are not the most popular cars far as high-quality, but they’re putting out more of a variety of the good old bodies, Camaros, Trans Am, Corvettes Torino’s , Mopars! Thanks, brother
Nice good to be available soon . Have to love the hobby at this time. So many great cars being produced. This one is no different. 😮 thanks for sharing Marty
Good stuff Mr. Ford. Some may balk at the use of an inline slim can motor and the perceived drivability. However, one only needs to look no further than the Policar Classic F1 cars with a similar pod setup. They are some of the smoothest runners out there. Would also not complain about the use of 7mm wide rubber either, the grip may surprise you.
Very, very nice! I am getting ready to get my preorder on! 😂. I really like the look of the Lotus as well. Thank you Marty for sharing. Thank you Marco for leaving it with Marty for a little bit.
These C1s are great and from before most of us were born and they recently and regularly feature along with the Ferrari 250 GT SWB and the Aston Martin DB4 (other cars slated by MR Slot Cars for this series) in historic races at The Goodwood Revival Festival held here in England during early September each year. It's a whole new concept and, as you say, the beginning of a whole new class, and so a well spotted niche and YES PLEASE 😀
Woah, that is absolutely gorgeous! The skinny tires in the rear is disappointing, but im assuming that's how they actually were and that's the way they should be. Definitely preordering one! Thanks for sharing Marty! 🫡
Hey brother, Marty, It’s Friday morning good morning we made it another week, lol, I got to be the 100th thumbs up, yay, that’s a cool car, this hobby is so addicted brother I want so many cars lol I guess I’m a little bit of a collector. Also cause a lot of them I haven’t ran. I just love a lot of the Livery’s and just like when we were kids they’re kind of like collecting matchbox cars I think it’s always a good investment someday, you won’t find some of these cars and who knows we might not be able to afford to have them lol thanks for the show. Brother have a great weekend. Praise the Lord and worship. God bless.🙌🙌🙌🏎️🏎️🏎️
Metal chassis is interesting.. where it will fit in club racing is up for debate.. 3D chassis to race against other like period classes.. or make up a series depending if MRRC will bring out other cars.. of same like.. either way I love it and it should be awesome.. thinking of a 3D chassis and fingers crossed for more.. save the chassis in case of more..🙏🙏👍🏁
Wow Marty that is a beautiful slot car .. proper classic style 👌 and they certainly built it to a very high standard not just the body but the chassis components
Totally agree, can’t wait to see how the chassis works on the track! Thanks Harry!
Marty, this is a great channel! Couldn’t happen to a better guy.
Thanks Chip! I appreciate the kind words bro!
Proportions look pretty good, and it should sell well! Hopefully can get some wider tires without modifying the body. Good review- Marty
Thanks Clint… I agree..
I likey. I want a go-cart. The old school ones we all know.
You can find them on eBay..
I'm so glad I caught your video! I've been waiting for this style Vette to go against my Cobras and Cheetahs.
Perfect pairing.. will look great together on the track!
Awesome Marty, thanks for sharing. Great looking car 😍 I bet it goes better than a Revo.
Time will tell… but it feels like it will be a smooth car.
I saw the prototype at UK slot fest, instant 😍
It’s a cool car for sure.. thanks Dave!
Great video Marty! I am looking forward to the white kit!!!
Hopefully soon!
This car looks great, might have to open the wallet and dig into the secret stash. Really like the Halibrand wheels with the spinners, spot on 🤩
Good call! It looks great and is an interesting innovation from a tech standpoint..
Very well done Marty! I’ll share this on my facebook page.
Thanks Dave!!
Marty,,, I love how hard your trying not to smile holding that car,, I had to smile too pal,, very sweet car, that you for sharing 😘😘😘😘
It was hard not too.. beautiful car. Thanks John!
Awesome video, I want one.
You and me both! 😂
Very nice car you are right marty they are going to sell a lot of those cars
I think so too! Thanks for watching.
It's a no brainer for me! Team Cunningham! Let's go!
Yes!!!😂
Marty thanks for your video, can’t wait for tomorrow to preorder.
You and me both!
Well done Marty!! Car looks amazing 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Thanks Bro! Great looking car!
Wow, pretty neat Marty. I don’t mind the narrow tires, they are period correct for the 1960 race car.
I think that’s what they are going for…
Thank you Marty. Looks great
Glad you like it!

Lewis, it is actually much different design than a Revoslot, but surely will be some competition.

I think you are right.. DB4.. I may have misspoke. I really think you will enjoy the car. I am excited to see the performance.

lol.. no worries.. lots of people have corrected me.. it is what it says on the description. Not sure I would discount it because of that.. 😂
Love it buddy
Thanks Tim!

Thank you! I think we are going to continue to see that part of the market grow as the US market grows. Hopefully.
Woot! This is awesome. Thanks Marty.
You bet B2! Very cool car..
Can't find the pre-order link yet. Lol
@@Motor-Speedway should be there tomorrow at all the MRSLOTCAR resellers.

Thanks John, I meant to ask your thoughts about the tires.. I knew we had already talked about the motor. I think this thing will be smooth as glass..
Gimme gimme gimme. Looks awesome and sits really nice. Toughness galore👀👀👀❤️👍🏻
Yes, this car will be a sell out!

You won’t be disappointed. 😂
Saw it at the UK Slotcar Festival 24, it's a must have for me!!!!
Yes Nico! It looks fantastic!

Cool! some other colors on this one and it will be awesome!!
More liveries coming soon!
To be honest I wasn't really interested until I saw they plan a Ferrari 250 and an Aston to go along with it. Sigh, I guess I'll have to get one...
Chris, I think they are creating its own class to race with… I’ll probably end up with all 3 🤦🏻♂️
Woah, that is absolutely gorgeous! The skinny tires in the rear is disappointing, but im assuming that's how they actually were and that's the way they should be. Definitely preordering one! Thanks for sharing Marty! 🫡
The Carrera Cobras have skinny tires too, but they handle well (w/magnet)
Yes, exactly!
Looks great can’t wait thank for the update 👍🇦🇺
Thanks Shane!

Thanks bro! Yes, such a fun hobby! But it can cost us 😂
Late to the party, Love it... classic vette... now that Lotus will be something..
Yes the Lotus will be a great car!
I like that the C1 looks like an old Revell or Monogram (but should run better). That Lotus screams 80s!
Yes it does.. can’t wait to see the liveries on the Lotus..
Hi Marty, this is really a nice one. What is the track width on the rear axle? Thanks
I didn’t think to measure that before I sent it back!
Wow.
Very nice review Marty. The Corvette finished 8th overall, and won the GT5.0 class. Ferrari won the race overall :-)
Thanks for the history lesson! Great stuff!
Yes, and seeing as the only cars in the GT5 class were 4 Corvettes, they were pretty much guaranteed a win as long as one finished.
@@scottgt653 someone had to win it 😂

Beautiful body and hopefully the performance follows suit.
Great looking car. Does there appear to be enough space to mount a Carrera chip?
It appears to have enough room for FT Slotteknic Chip but not a Carrera chip. See Oscar at Slotinvasion…
Hi, this is a great car. But it finished in 8 th place. Winner was a Ferrari.
Fair enough! It won its class.
It came 8th and was a class winner only. Ferrari came first
Thanks Martin. Someone had to win the class. Not sure that takes away from the car. But good to have the history straight. Thanks for the comment 👍
Should I call Bob at Slot Car Corner?
On Friday..
124 would be perfect!
Sorry Greg… I don’t think that is in the cards…
