In the middle of trying to complete this megaproject, it went from a regular old idol-themed animation to something WAY more metal. The initially wholesome character is based on an actual goddess 'Sekhmet' in Egyptian mythology. Used to be a goddess of healing, until she got orders from sun god Rah to eradicate everything. I'm going back to my dark Egyptian vibes from Ping!

Never have I seen something like this. It's so unique, and it's executed beautifully. There are shots where you really can't tell it's a 3D animation with how artistic and detailed it looks. I also like the fact that the idea is that she's imagining all of this, like what she feels while listening to this. The song is beautiful, the art, everything. I love MVs imagining the music in a unique way, telling a story that the music tells without words.

How long did this take you… as an animator myself I can appreciate every single little detail in the animations from the big flashy parts to the subtle little ripples that still took time out of your day to make that probably not many people noticed
Ayy a fellow animator, have you ever studied the concept of the 12 principles of animation? The small details would be examples of “appeal” in animation whereas the big moves involve anticipation/follow through. I learned to guide people’s eyes on the screen so that there’s never a confusing moment, everything happens smoothly and each shot hits the spot!

This music video took everything I got. Normally when you start a project, it's a very bad idea to try to learn too many things at the same time. Some say 80% of it should be things that you know & are familiar with, and 20% new exciting techniques, that way you're less likely to ruin the project or give up. But I'm built slightly differently cause honestly this video was 90% new things for me. I wanted to absolutely upgrade everything compared to Ping 2 because I know that this is my first chance to prove that I have some cool unique originals instead of just trendy remixes :d

How can one man be so talented at both at the same time
appreciate the kinds words! Believe it or not, I think once you spend the years needed to master just 1 art type, you realize that at the end of the day you’re gonna be sitting at your PC in some type of program clicking on buttons and looking at graphs! Doesn’t matter if you’re making an animation look cleaner or an instrument more detailed/automated, every program just has a slightly different flavor!!

I mean even if it's both sitting at the PC pressing buttons I'd imagine that it's still really different fields that takes an ungodly amount of effort to master. If you'd ask an digital artist to suddenly start creating music they'd probably have no idea how to, much less be CONSISTENTLY dropping absolute bangers like you do, like I have no idea how the quality never dips and every song is just as amazing as the next.
But honestly really appreciate the humbleness and that you take your time to read through and respond to the comments!!!

As for the time spent, I understand you very much. I make videos by myself too and it always takes more time than I originally planned.
For example, I thought that the last video would take 2 months, but in the end, it took all 6. Becouse i want to make everything beautiful and perfect. At the same time - I understand i am doing a project more fo myself than for a large audience and popularity. It is sometimes difficult, but this is how projects are born that give strength to continue to be creative.
Between the excellent music and videos this man has truly earned the highest of positions, the last days have truly been banger days.
