Totally incompetent. Financial speculators could see her gamble with the UK economy was worth betting against and she was told by the IMF NOT to make unfinanced tax cuts but, against all sound advice, she went ahead anyway then blamed it on everyone else when her gamble failed. SHE lost the country £35billion and most deservedly lost her job. Unfortunately millions of homeowners are still paying for her stupidity and will continue to do so for years to come.

I'm certainly not anywhere near being a royalist, but I had huge respect for the queen as a figurehead and felt sad when she went. It's so sad that future generations will look back at this passing...and this idiot Truss is in that footage as PM, which is a pity for the queen. Truss is such a failure...and so painfully self-absorbed.
I think you have to have some mental problems to be a laughing stock on every side of politics except for a few extremists and feel like you deserve an immediate comeback.

She hacked away the armed forces to the point had the Falklands happened a year later they couldn't have been defended. She hacked away people's livelihoods and oppotunities to the point she created the underclass of people she claimed to rail against.
She made us a bit part player in the world. Had it not been for luck in the Falklands she would have been a lame duck one term PM, and she is only remembered fondly by an older generation because she sold them cheap council houses
When one considers how she became PM (if being in No10 for 44 days even counts as being PM) and cringe worthy time she spent as an unelected entity, I don`t think she should qualify for any of the generous benefits on offer to all former PMs or the personal protection team that will be guarding her for the rest of her life.

The idea of Truss's policies were actually in the right direction but unfortunately it was too drastic too soon and the Bank of England who had been pumping money in the system for years and keeping interest rates low, didn't take kindly to it, as well as the bond market who didn't see any growth in the future.
Unfunded handouts, to people who send the money out of the country to tax havens, are always 'too much, too soon'.
For some strange reason, fully-costed budgets, to invest in UK infrastructure, and people who would circulate their money within their community, seem to be constantly ridiculed by the tax avoiding owners of this channel and their employees.

She wanted to drive the economy with lowering taxes. With lower taxes, people have an incetive to work harder.
They ousted her because they wanted to keep taxes high, because the establishment has debt up to their eyeballs, and had to get the people to keep servicing the interest on the debt they deliberately printed.

I can only hope that gives you pause to self reflect, I understand it's difficulties in relying on others opinions to form your own but the overwhelming direction of thought on Truss's positions might indicate something.
