I was about to buy the Su-25 but that 3k kill reward just destroyed any interest I have in it. The reason I don't play the F-104 is because I need about 2 kills to offset my repair cost. I'm not trying to also go bankrupt flying soviet jets

The medium tank killing you was just horrendously bad luck. All AI ground forces projectiles are capable of killing you, it’s just a matter of being hit by one.
i swaar AI has invisible bullbe around it where it randomly spawns explosions no matter what angle/side you are approaching it. Even if its tank, or howitzer, doesn´t matter same random mechanism...

( it actually happened to me once, I critted one with an aim-9L then spent half of my ammo on him because his wings refused to fall off. Had to aim for the pilot when he started flatspinning. )
AI tanks and SPAA are cracked now. Especially on the big maps where all the AI have fully crewed vehicles with Ground RB damage models. Fuck those SPAA in particular

For what it is the su-25 is a killer dog fighter especially up high, just make sure to use combat flaps, they don’t rip off until almost 900kph

You can counter R-60s in the J35A. You can launch an aim9b on the R-60 in head ons and you can dodge it in head ons if you are doing mach
