As an appliance sales specialist I often get customer feedback in addition to that from my wife! No one Services Samsung and parts are hard to get they even have had recalls the most recent being for a fire hazard sea Consumer Reports. Whirlpool and Maytag continue to have issues with control boards and their BMW motors my authorized Whirlpool repair guy says he constantly sees leaking oil from Trans. LG is reliable but service and parts are issues. Most people do not need such large capacities or Wireless. For example the GE Profile 600 or 700 series are fine even the higher-end base model such as the 585 or 485 are good machines.
I had number five the Samsung, it was good for 1 yr 9 months and died full of water and Samsung doesn't stand behind their product after a yr. i so recommend getting an extended warranty..
I prefer Speed Queen with traditional agitator action. It’s one of the best washers available. It uses the same technology and wash system that’s been around for the better part of 60 years. Also Fisher and Paykel top loaders are excellent machines. I don’t understand why they are no longer available in the US.
If you can possibly keep an old one, do so. Bought a beautiful new washer. Tub will not fill more than halfway, agitation is pathetically weak. Clothes need washed twice and still aren't clean. Electric bill is up, not down. So many obstructive safety features that it is beyond frustrating to use. It isn't defective, just the way it is designed.
I was reading the reviews and noticed that there's a lot of advice on what to avoid, but not much on what to buy. The main brands people mention are Samsung, Whirlpool, Maytag, and GE. If these aren't the best options, do you have any other brands in mind that you would recommend?
I hope you found a reasonable answer. I’m myself am in the market for a new washer since my old 25 year whirlpool stopped working. I’ve read about the Maytag/ whirlpools which r the same company now, but idk with the many negative reviews. I’m really lost and just looking for a basic washer may 4.5-5 cubic feet
I was excited to maybe buy a Speed Queen since so many people here on yt recommend them. I went to the Better Business Bureau website and researched Speed Queen washers and the complaints were off the charts. I don't know what to buy now. I've had 4 different sets in the last 10 years, from front load to top load and they all failed by year 2 or 3.
@@stellabella5269 wow. That’s a good incentive for anyone looking for a washer to research on the bbb. Would u mind sharing which washer you had so maybe I can stay away from those? I’m still searching myself
The Maytag he's talking about in this video is absolute garbage is one of the worst washers and dryers you can buy for the money I bought this exact set less than 3 years ago both my washer and dryer have both broken with normal to light use. I make sure to never overload and it's just the worst. Not to mention the warranty is only a year.
Dealing with this now. 3.5 years and washer sounds like metal grinding and dirt all under the washer after removal. Also it barely puts any water for the wash even with Manuel high fill. Samsung is the absolute worst as well.
I bought the Samsung activewear washer and dryer set 5.5 cubic 7yrs ago. They ran great. Recall on the lid to washer. I was replaced under warranty 2022. It broke again this year 2024. 2 days after new warranty ran out. Other wise great machines. Quite large loads.
I have a whirlpool washer that i hate. It does not fill all the way even on the full tub setting and the paddle type agitator has splits in it that catch onto straps and wind the clothes around so tight you can hardly get them out. Items come out of it practically tied in knots. Just thought I would mention this for anyone considering a whirlpool washer.
I'm getting rid of mine now. Lasted only 4 yrs. LOADS (pun intended) of issues. Repaired it 4 times and have had enough. No more Samsung for me. Very dissatisfied 😢
Agreed regarding Samsung machines they are garbage. Our 5 yr old washer is failing. We’ve had a few dryer loads take a long time to dry as well. It won’t wash a load without stalling the load because it’s off balance. Also it’s getting louder as it ages. It’s going to be replaced before it dies!
Does anyone have the new Samsung Pet care set? It's only 5.4 cubic. I'm not sure if it will wash 2 queen comforters or not. Pls let me know asap. I need a new set this week.
Stay away from Whirlpool and Maytag...their washers are awful! I've had so many issues with their stuff. My Maytag washer has been serviced 3 times in the last 4 years!
@spoiler9112 for parts and labour but yea however they warranty the drum and other parts for 20 and you can buy the 2 year extension as well making it a 7 year parts and labor. So in a way you are not wrong but. . . Lol
This is not a true assessment of any of these units. I would not by any of them because none even remotely compared to a Speed Queen. Which is the best and most reliable brand on the market and has been for 60 years!
Not a fan. My speed Queen has rusted and speed Queen will do 3:47 nothing for me. And yes I keep the lid open when not in use. I’m 70 and this is the first washing machine that has rusted. I had to replace the lid the first year b/c of rust. I cannot recommend speed Queen. My neighbor has the same machine with same problems.
Bought a speed queen because of excellent review , but found out it’s defective 2 hrs after it was installed , tech came the next day 2 parts are broken : pressure sensor & harness whatever that is. Returning this machine.
LG - nooooooooo! It was good for 5 yrs before it stopped turning on. The motherboard needs to be replaced. Just Google LG top load washing machine & you’ll see the complaints about it not powering up. 🤷♀️
yes 100 percent. But I loved it until the board went out and quit powering on. It did a great job handling anything you throw at it. With the heavy duty and deep wash cycle being great features. Main board went out and did the tin foil trick which helped, but in all only lasted about 3 years. Yes, the speed queen is good, but I need a 5-cu ft washer not the tiny tub units.
Loved my LG , BUT the control board will go out and be unable to turn on. Even did the tin foil trick but got about 3 years out of it, I loved the deep was cycle and the ability to wash whatever you put in there, unlike the Samsung which is complete crap and will not wash more than a handful of clothes without error codes.

So maytag was recently bought out by whirlpool a few years ago, maytag used to be a good brand but its now to be avoided
Yep. Maytag Bravio less than 3 years old and total junk.
Thanks. Saved me from wasting my time on this video
Whirlpool is the worst too! Mine just went after not even a year!

My Samsung smart washer needs a water pump when the extra warranty ended. I just want real reviews like yours.
Mine does massive loads.

Hi, my name is Kathy, were you able to wash a king size comforter? How far does the water fill up?
Speed. Queen didn’t even make the list, I find that remarkable being it’s the most reliable washing machine on the market.
Speed Queen all the way !!!! USA 🇺🇸 !!!!!!! agreed .. this list of machines is low quality crap .
Not happy with my speed Queen, it has rusted! And yes I keep the lid open when not in use.

7kg capacity washing machine means....we can wash 7kg dry clothes...or 7kgs means after wash wet clothes..?
Samsung... that's a big NO
Why?
I'm getting rid of mine now. Lasted only 4 yrs. LOADS (pun intended) of issues. Repaired it 4 times and have had enough. No more Samsung for me. Very dissatisfied 😢

Speed queen is the best
So much conflicting advise! Every brand had die hard lovers and die hard haters. I know I want a top loader, but I can’t decide 😢
How is not speed queen tv2000 best washer in the world
TC5
Stay away from Whirlpool and Maytag...their washers are awful! I've had so many issues with their stuff. My Maytag washer has been serviced 3 times in the last 4 years!
Mine needs to be repaired for the fourth time. Will never Maytag again
Unfortunately many people are buying Samsung and LG almost like they are a popular fad !
I would prefer Speed Queen.
Front loaders are always so moldy
No speed queen? Those are literally the best. TC5 classic clean with 20 years warranty. This list is garbage 🗑
My speed Queen washing machine has rusted and Speed Queen will not do anything for me. And Yes I keep the lid open when not in use. They blamed me!
they do not offer a 20 year warranty, the highest is 7
TC5 warranty is 5 years.

I'm looking at this very video because my 3 year old washer is messing up. My washer is #5 😑 now I don't believe this video.....
I have the Maytag 7232 another junk. That is why I am here because I need a new washer. This is not a honest review this is a sale.
SPEED QUEEN TC5

Samsung will fail within the first 3 years. It will fail multiple times.... They make great phones though ;)
Speed Queen.
Bought a speed queen because of excellent review , but found out it’s defective 2 hrs after it was installed , tech came the next day 2 parts are broken : pressure sensor & harness whatever that is. Returning this machine.
@@almadecastro9300 Damn
Now I’m confused of what to buy, I’m staying away from LG & Samsung, they need repair after a year.

Only buy LG and Hitachi. SUPER DURABLE, Super clean your clothes.
Another brands are trying to sell you their low-tie products to get big commission.

My cabrio whirlpool is by far the worst washer ever.
