I couldn't help but roll my eyes about the big to do around the Saudi princess. There are literally thousands of Saudi princes and princesses running around and they frequently travel to London. It's truly not that big of a deal. However, kudos to the staff for doing their jobs well.
If you think that's silly, I invite you to come to Monaco. Here it's ridiculous! Inside the restaurants, café, etc and to tell you more, the other day I could not seat in the bus because a lady had her chihuahua seated in the only available seat, I looked at her and she was like 🥴. Unbelievable!
I think I’ve seen everything now with a bird of prey being brought in to scare off other birds, I watched a documentary about the Mandarin oriental in London and couldn’t believe how badly the wealthy behave when they check into five star hotels, they had a middle eastern princess who would stay for over a month and the hotel would have to chase her accountant for almost a year to get her bill paid and it was six figures and the wealthy let their kids destroy the rooms by writing on the walls or on the expensive carpets or one kid shattered a floor to ceiling mirror in the gym which resulted in an extra ten thousand pounds being added to his parents hotel bill.
I was brought up working class . My mother rammed manners into my brother and I. Now my family and I are middle class and I have never forgotten what my mother taught me. I treat everyone as equal, and respect every single member of staff in hotels, retail etc etc. There is absolutely no need for disrespectful behaviour however ‘rich’ you are !
Oh yes,I watched the documentary a few days ago here on TH-cam.I was truly shocked at the state of the room,rubbish on the floor and stains everywhere.And the fact that it takes so long to make payment is disgusting too,I know the hotel needs their custom but they deserved not to find a room anywhere due to their behaviour,they think they can treat people like rubbish and there is lack of empathy for people who need to work harder to clean their mess.All the bills should be settled upon departing.Unfortunately money can buy luxury but no manners.

After the minute 8:50 you could see the mess the Middle East princess and the children left behind,rubbish scattered everywhere and heavily stained carpets. They were so badly damaged that cleaning them didn't get rid of the stains and had to rip them off to replace. Really a shame to leave a place in this estate,having money does not mean destroy things because I can pay.
