And in that point we are only missing 2 and 11. And subseguently cencored out of records becuase of taint of chaos tens of thousands years BEFORE Horus Heresy. And that Rogal Dorn knows this but asked Malcador to REMOVE THAT MEMORY FROM HIM.
The scariest thing about the birth of Slaanesh is that it wasn’t an accident. The Eldar pleasure cults could sense her stirring in the warp and wanted to awakening her and be consumed by her, so they could exist in an eternity of pleasure with in her. It wasn’t an accident or a mistake. It was a plan and it worked.

@bryanttownsend381 Konrad Curze has some incredible lore. The dude was genuinely good dude with a SEVERE issue he had NO CONTROL over. The fact that his Primarch Warp power is to see the future coupled with being the incarnation of the God Emperor's Vigilantism meant he was a lost cause from the start. Driven mad by his visions, his whole legion turned traitor and pathetic from the teachings of their own Primarch. Konrad Curze had the MOST potential of all the Emperor's Primarchs to be a literal powerhouse. He's insanely strong and dueled Fulgrim to a standstill. The great thing about 40k is that its basically the Age of Exploration on earth. You sail out to a new colony with orders that were outdated weeks ago. You might lose ships to the sea and never know. the corruption that comes from governors with little to no oversight. its awesome.
Its a leading fan theory that the Rangdan got a hold of the two missing Primarchs and turned them. Leading to Big E sending the Space Wolves and Leman Russ to eliminate them, with the Ultramarines and Imperial Fists taking in the untainted survivors of the two legions. Also believed that because of this the Space Wolves picked up the nickname of The Emporer's Executioners.
if you look at the timeline the Primarch were found, 11 were found after the the Rangdan xenocide, he actually one of the last Primarch to be found, so the Rangdan war only took out one of the lost Primarch, the 2nd. 11th might be the 'subject 11' inside the vault of Terra till date
The octarius war is terrifying, orks grow through conflict, tyranids evolve though consuming biomass, the ortarius sector is providing both with an infinite supply. At some point that war will end and the the galaxy won't be ready to face the winners.
20:56 i highly recommend looking into this as there rumors that a primarch with the Rangdan Xenocides and looking up the forgotten and the purged because so many legions joined this war and 85k dark angels Marines died during this
Which speaks to the power of the Rangdan considering how OP the Dark Angels were during the Great Crusade. They single handedly knocked the Dark Angels out of the no 1 spot in terms of numbers. The rumors of the forgotten legions only adds to the mystery of the Xenocide that we'll likely never see in a proper book anytime soon.
Dude, I watch WESHAMMER all the time! I'm not even that into WH40K, but I love his content. Great stories, and the dude just has a lot of positive energy.

It is interesting when fans have to distinguish between greatest threat to the Imperium (Chaos), threat to humanity (Necrons), and threat to the whole setting/galaxy (Tyranids). The Lovecraftian horrors are on a whole nother level. They aren't even a faction; they are existential dread.
I think there should be War of the Beast (Make the orks great again!) somewhere in the beginning, but learning about those lesser known events was fun.
In regards to the death number of the Horus heresy, and the siege of terra. “Countless trillions” was the quote the narrator said in one of the latest books, as for numbers, most space marine legions were reduced to around 20% fighting power (some reduced to bellow 100 marines), most legions had around 300-500k marines in them so that should give a very rough idea for casualties there……terra was basically turned into a death world during the siege, the air was so thick with ash and dust that it was clogging the engines of their flying vehicles and would choke anyone not wearing a mask space marines included, even Sanguinius a primarch struggled to breathe whilst guarding the eternity gate (final gate) so he’s not far off with his trillions count due to the toxic air and the general loss of life through fighting the siege was brutal and loss of life just unimaginable.
Nux NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THE OCTARIUS WARS so he can understand just how BADLY Cryptmans plan backfired. Not to mention that it wasn't JUST Orks vs Nids, but so many other factions jumped into the fray.
Do we have citations on that? I thought the indominus crusade didn't kick off with the primaris project's deployment until AFTER the cicatrix maledictum tore across the sky like a ripped pair of jeans.
I'm pretty sure it's set after cause it's said that Calgar has been summoned by the Primach. And Gulliman awakened after the fall, when the rift was expanding due to nothing available to stop it

To put the Xenocides into perspective: the Rangdan were the Carthage of the Imperium's Rome, down to their Salt-the-Earth execution of the Third Rangdan War. And on my opinions on what the Imperium did afterwards: There was no better option. The Rangdan were THAT horrifying. They were technologically stronger and more potent in their Biotechnological constructs, with starships built like moon-sized Jellyfish and Octopods. And given names like "Cerabvores" and "Osseivores," we can safeky assume their food was our bone marrow and brains. So awful, that the Astartes that served in it had to be rotated out of battle due to complications with the wars. Yes, it was so awful, that it gave Astartes PTSD. And how could you not? Imagine, for an instance, you are an Astartes, and the Rangda and their thralled hordes appear. Niw imagine that these horrifying Xeno monstrosities, after mostly dealing with Orks and Eldar, with skull-puncturing probosci charge at you with not only the humans you were supposed to protect, but even zombified Astartes made into meat puppets for their Slaugh masters. Some even from the Lost Legions, who were strong enough to be notable to Strategic expert Rogal Dorn. They HAD TO be wiped out, scorch the cities and salt the Earth they stood on, as well as the zombified humans and Astartes they had a grognards and shock troopers. If we did not, we would be doomed. It even warranted the Emperor weaponizing a shard of the Void Dragon, A FUCKING C'TAN, to drive them back and defeat their forces.
I am again asking Nux to watch the Pilgrim Pass channels videos on Warhammer in particular "why 40k triggers people" as it gets into the philosophy and cycle of violenc. Also i am asking that when doing SCP lore dives to do as little animated videos as possible. Either reading them or listening to an audiobook are best ways for experiencing SCP, as horror is best when there is some left to your own imagination. Vulgun is the best channel for SCP content, SCP illlustrated is enouther great channel. I highly recommend Volguns 049 video, and illustrades gate guardian videom
Though these Warhammer 40k apocalypses are devastating for the in universe galaxy they wouldn't hold a candle to the wars raged in Xeelee Sequence, Three Body Problem, Faction Paradox, Doctor Who EU, and Getter Robo. To them a War In Heaven can be a regular occurrence that is still on going or been completely erased from existence itself. Whole galaxies can be destroyed or left in ruins and it can be considered a small regional incursion of whole conflict is still happening. If the Trancendent were in Warhammer 40k only one of them is needed to conquer the whole galaxy and the Chaos gods would not be strong enough to defeat him or her. For reference the Trancendence are humans in Xeelee Sequence descendants of humans after the Interim Coalition of Governance collapsed who became overpowered reality warping immortal humans with the power and abilities to utilize extra dimensional technologies that would make the C'Tan look insignificant. They would increase in great numbers after a hundred thousand years and would expand to conquer the entire Virgo Supercluster. For 700,000 years they went on a unrestrained rampage purging xenos in any galaxy they found and assimilate into their territories and would begin making technologies that would have fundamentally changed the entire universe by forcibly merging all timelines together so it could fit their ideals of a universe without human suffering across space and time even if it destroyed everything. That was stepped too far and eventually that plan of theirs drew the attention of the Xeelee the 2nd most powerful faction in the universe to respond with full military force and would easily defeat the Transcendent after a relatively short period war. You would probably need most powerful War In Heaven weapons like the Breath of the Gods amped by the C'Tan plus whatever dimension cracking weapons they had and the most powerful Omega Plus Psyker entity like the Dark King could be and Gork and Mork powered by a Krork empire to likely have a chance of defeating a Transcendent Xeelee Sequence Human. in Xeelee Sequence there was a entire large population of them that created a super cluster extra galactic empire with who knows what kinds of warmachines and logistics they had. There is other op factions too other then them. Like the Great Houses in Faction Paradox and the Downstreamers in Manifold who would view the entire Warp immaterium parallel realm and the other Warhammer eldritch being which are extra universal beings like harmless little molecules. Even Universal Big Bangs amount of energy are a casual thing for them bend and manipulate into brand new dimensions with different separate cosmic physics and structuring to look after. I do think a couple Doctor Who entities and devises like the Glory and the Quantum Angel are strong enough to be relative to those guys. Gellar Emperor from Robo Gellar is a Mech that would become so powerful it would punch the face of a galaxy sized alien being and she would be one shotted by the mech which continued to get stronger and grow bigger. Suffice to say, the Tyranid Hivemind would be overwhelmed upon coming in contact with a slight amount of it's Gellar Rays it radiates constantly and who knows what would happen to the hiveships and bioforms from all that energy. It's kinda like Spiral Power in Gurren Lagann though a bit less potent and not as big as that. Then there is Three Body Problem it's not a fun grimdark verse like Warhammer 40k is. The entire universe has been destroyed multiple times over atleast by seven times by dimension dual vector foils while becoming weaker each time and boring longer each time, even the Orks and C'Tan would hate it here. The Final Architecture, Revelation Space, and the Void Trilogy would be better to live in then that depressing sci fi universe.
You should react to Eckhart's Ladder Top 5 Most Advanced Races in Science Fiction, The Xeelee Sequence races make Warhammer factions look like nothing but pest, cockroaches.
Nux, please react to Baldermort's video "The Last Space Marine Armour" It's a lower key loredive, but i think you'll enjoy it, including the bits of real life lore. Because you must consume ALL lore. Also i think you'll appreciate Baldermort's style and stories.
The Horus Heresy's casualty number are pretty small because in 30k the Imperium of Man was much smaller then the 41st and 42nd Millennium Imperium of Man. Yes it had some more technology being researched though in tight circles however it was nowhere near as big as the Dark Age of Technology and even the Astartes 10,000 years later do have better gear and a better training doctrine then the 30k Astartes has despite being Chapters and not Legions. Back in 30k after the 500 year long Great Crusade they didn't have as dense of a demographic population and maybe at most somewhere relative to having ten thousand worlds though those planets were not nearly as populated as the Hive Cities, Forge Worlds, Fortress Worlds, Agri worlds, and the Knight and Feudal Worlds are now. Back then the Imperium wasn't as big and dense so in the 41st and 42nd millennium 2 trillion - 4.4 trillion isn't that massive anymore though back then it used to be. If you think about it even the Yuuzhan Vong War casualty number is bigger then the Horus Heresy by almost a hundred times with 365 trillion within the universe of the Star Wars Expanded Universe Lore.
I remember a rumor I heard once about The War in Heaven, might not be true anymore, might not have ever been true but; During The War in Heaven, a planet was destroyed. No big deal, right? Happens all the time. Except a chunk of that planet was sent hurtling into the void, years later it struck a planet, utterly annihilating the primitive reptiles that dominated the surface of that feral world. In the perspective of the struck planet, it was later dubbed the K.T. Extinction. In the perspective of The War in Heaven, it was little more than shrapnel.
The way I have heard it get put, is that the warp as we know it exists on a very surface level and that the warp is like an ocean in a way, with much deeper much much darker areas that not even the chaos Gods themselves will go to because it so overwhelmingly chaotic and maddening that even they would drown in it, and because no one knows how truly deep it goes, and that if it is infinite, that it likely connects different realities together allowing them to bleed into one another in certain areas, and another idea posits that what is there is something like a residual primordial energy that sparked Creation in the first place, making it an area where the forces of creation and destruction are constantly at play, and that the entities that live there are less like entities as we understand them and are more like Natural Forces that Prey Upon yet to exist universes while also sparking new universes into creation.
1:21:08 old ones didn't create the Necrontyr, they alongside the old ones was one of the few born from the primordial ooze and evolve, the old ones told them that what they are going through is their fate and only they can save themselves as they dont want a part of it
@Nuxanor You need to look into the latest Ork lore with their gods. The "Great rift" is in ork called "Gorks grin". If I got it right, the orks stopped being Krorks when their gods manifested. Making the ork gods the oldest deities in the warp, outmatched Khorne by a landslide. So the chaos gods might be able to match Gork and Mork, I'd they team up. Otherwise, no chance.
Wow, that thumbnail is terrifying! Hello! I was going to suggest the following video suggestion: "Thrawn: a COMPLETE Life story (Canon) Part 1" by the channel: "MetaNerdz Lore". I think it is a very high-quality production and that Nuxanor should react to it!

The problem is, what happens is the Tyranids adapt to be able to fight these enemies, and then when they win and attack humanity again, they're way stronger than anything we could hope to defeat? And would them losing even be better? Now the cube thing is a galaxy away just spewing out random monstrosities that will one day make their way to human space, and then we gotta fight them!

And in that point we are only missing 2 and 11. And subseguently cencored out of records becuase of taint of chaos tens of thousands years BEFORE Horus Heresy.
And that Rogal Dorn knows this but asked Malcador to REMOVE THAT MEMORY FROM HIM.
can u watch mort theory
The scariest thing about the birth of Slaanesh is that it wasn’t an accident. The Eldar pleasure cults could sense her stirring in the warp and wanted to awakening her and be consumed by her, so they could exist in an eternity of pleasure with in her. It wasn’t an accident or a mistake. It was a plan and it worked.
Well it was a s*** plan then😂
This last week of content has been so good. Adventure Time, 40k, and LORE are my fav vids
Agreed. I hate that drama gets more views.
Amen brother. I love the lore
The fact that everything we know about 40K is from it’s galaxy and the fact that there are more galaxies only serves as nightmare fuel
Right it's not even intergalactic
Nux, we need, nay we ask of you to continue the Primarch videos as you left off at The Khan, the most underrated Primarch (in my opinion)
I do love the War Hawk also. But The Angel, The Death King, The Crimson Cyclops, The Praetorian, and so many others are so fucking good. Even the Night Haunter, who I use to just view as uber emo edgelord.
Poor guy was cursed to one forsee one future instead of the infinite ones his father could see. Doomed from the start
@@crazedbutcher6672 Saguinius was so close to change him. but like Konrad, the Angel also accept fate and said right into the Night Hauter's face : "you can't not change" and then launch him into the void
@@Subject35th And Sanguinius was right, Kurze couldn't change. He was incapable of it
So... fun fact, Warhammer HAS crossovered with Magic the Gathering.
This means that the warhammer universe could be just a (very large) plane in the magic the gathering multiverse.
Also, the Rangda are presumed to be respnsible for at least one of the lost primarchs BEING lost.
And Magic has crossed over with Transformers, Doctor Who, and Dungeons and Dragons...
@@SymbioteMulletso basically f*** the multiverse, we got a whole Omniverse going on😂
favorite quote from bleach "what's the difference between the king and his horse" exactly how i imagine the cybernetic revolt (bleach highly underrated in my opinion the psychological and philosophical depth is something else)
The black templars casually have the skull of the cacodominus as a relic
The Black Templars hate psykers. The cacodominius's head being mounted over the fireplace is a GREAT way to drive that home.
@@johnj.spurgin7037 Ironic that they're the ones worshipping humanity's greatest psyker
@@johnj.spurgin7037 even better than that, it’s got a chain attached to it and a random marine will just carry it like a lamp, you can actually make a model carry it.
The great thing about 40k is that its basically the Age of Exploration on earth. You sail out to a new colony with orders that were outdated weeks ago. You might lose ships to the sea and never know. the corruption that comes from governors with little to no oversight. its awesome.
The tyranids on their way to eat an ultra marine to also be the greatest of them all that’s true terror
can u watch mort theory
Fuck it, I'm saying. We need to get Nux into bricky's black templars and then Helsreach
You should totally check out weshammers vid on what life is like on earth in 40k
Yes
His heretical vid about the Chaos Gods being good.
Dude, I watch WESHAMMER all the time! I'm not even that into WH40K, but I love his content. Great stories, and the dude just has a lot of positive energy.
You would LOVE Pancreas Not Work's videos on Warhammer
And on Halo.
Nux: It's so bug, it's so big"
Me: hehehehehe THATS WHAT SHE SAID
New headcanon I hadn't thought about to now. SCP-682 is a Tyranid.
I would be really interesting to see how Nux would react to getting into the Lore of Project Moon. Can you imagine him getting into the deep moral and philosophical stuff in there.
Plus finding out how Warp Trains work and the Street of Flavor.
One of my favourite glimpses into peak human technology was the ship that 'woke up' and started shooting black holes at an eldar ship.
Did I just hear that that thing’s death-scream disrupted the fucking Astronomicon?!
I think there should be War of the Beast (Make the orks great again!) somewhere in the beginning, but learning about those lesser known events was fun.
Using an apocalypse to cover up an other apocalypse is especially ironic given that “apocalypse” literally means “revelation”.
11:51 The Echoing Vault looks like the Nuclear Pasta from Satisfactory.
Nux NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THE OCTARIUS WARS so he can understand just how BADLY Cryptmans plan backfired. Not to mention that it wasn't JUST Orks vs Nids, but so many other factions jumped into the fray.
HELSREACH WATCHALONG.
54:36 space marine 2 takes place just before the fall if cadia i believe
Do we have citations on that? I thought the indominus crusade didn't kick off with the primaris project's deployment until AFTER the cicatrix maledictum tore across the sky like a ripped pair of jeans.
I'm pretty sure it's set after cause it's said that Calgar has been summoned by the Primach. And Gulliman awakened after the fall, when the rift was expanding due to nothing available to stop it
They reference the fall of Cadia in game i think.
Doesn't the main character of the game become a Primaris marine.
59:03 sadly, Nux, depending on what happens with the legal battle they are going through that might not be possible
Am i the only one that's somewhat reminded of Gilbert Godfried when Nux talks ? and i mean that in the best way
So how much escale do you want your universe to have?
Wargammer: Yes
Great video Nux honestly love your reactions.
Two vids you gotta watch though are:
The watcher in the rain by Weshammer
And Luetins First Tyrannic War story.
Both are really good
With spooky season coming up
To put the Xenocides into perspective: the Rangdan were the Carthage of the Imperium's Rome, down to their Salt-the-Earth execution of the Third Rangdan War. And on my opinions on what the Imperium did afterwards:
There was no better option.
Definitely catch every vid Pilgrim drops, especially since he posts so rarely.
Dude, Pilgrim's shit is top shelf. I love his video on why the Astartes aren't Transhumanist, but Hyperhumanist.
@@b3rz3rk3r9 THAT TOO.

That Cube drag it into some tyranid 41:25
58:14 Nux’s chat is amazing. 🤣🤣
12:40 no alternate realities and the multiverse is a thing in warhammer
This was a great video. All we really need is a knucklehead dropping his cup of coffee on the keyboard of the orrery. "-Oopsie!"
You should react to Eckhart's Ladder Top 5 Most Advanced Races in Science Fiction, The Xeelee Sequence races make Warhammer factions look like nothing but pest, cockroaches.
I just watched the space marine video and now this shows up, lord nuxalore has blessed us
"Ladies and male ladies" I feel so included

Nux if you haven't gotten into the Cosmere (Brandon Sanderson) you definitely should. you'll like it
Nux, please react to Baldermort's video "The Last Space Marine Armour"
It's a lower key loredive, but i think you'll enjoy it, including the bits of real life lore. Because you must consume ALL lore.
Also i think you'll appreciate Baldermort's style and stories.
About time. Been waiting for more 40k!!
1:13:07 there were mare shadows in the past with the great rift, deamons appear in their full powerful forms
Got to love the area of the Ghoul-stars. An area so vile, not even Chaos goes there. That must be pretty bad. 😱
i love that nux was flabbergasted by the first apocalypse need to see nuxs reaction to more warhammer lore
Praise the Omnissiah for compelling the heretic Nuxanor to continue his journey though the archives!
24:45 that image as one who only very recently learned about 40k only see the Fall of Reach
Will we ever get back to the primarch deep dives?
I remember a rumor I heard once about The War in Heaven, might not be true anymore, might not have ever been true but;
During The War in Heaven, a planet was destroyed.
THE FEAR OF UNKNOWN
Really makes you understand why you must purge the Zeno!
1:21:08 old ones didn't create the Necrontyr, they alongside the old ones was one of the few born from the primordial ooze and evolve, the old ones told them that what they are going through is their fate and only they can save themselves as they dont want a part of it
love the 40k content, here's a suggestion: Ogryn Story by warrior tier
Image the chaos faction and the imperium had to work together because the tyrainds have become such a threat to both factions. That would be insane.
THIS IS PERFECT IDEA 41:17
41:17
41:17
41:17
19:45 well, I've heard, that 4 or 5 space marines are enough to defeat all of the earth's forces today
@Nuxanor
You need to look into the latest Ork lore with their gods.
I kinda want nux to cover mass effect lore . In depth or heavy is Warhammer but still really fun
Can't wait for Nux to react to the War Hammer 40K horror books (in video form). They have such good story telling!
35:20
Pushes glasses up his nose: well actually...there were a few who thought he might not be the best choice for warmaster. The Lion being one. Horus was beloved by his brothers though
Lion was an egotistical Chad meme made flesh.
He was only right thanks to Erebus and his wacky villain crew.
Nux brother with your love of lore and Orks, you have to check out Helsreach. It’s a brilliant animated series I believe 10 episodes long.
Sugestion for the next 40k video: "How the tyranids will defeat all other factions in warhammer 40k", from one mind sindicate.
I'm dog sitting, and she only relaxed after hearing nux it so cute
Wait till Nux finds out what the Emperors children do with the Eldar soul stones
42:17 Ah, but here you run into the SCP-682 problem.
25:09 no the space wolves and the dark angels was sent with lion and russ leading it which is one of fhe reasons on how they gain their nicknames od the exterminator and the executioner
Nux needs to look into the GOAT Ciaphas Cain. The Buggy of 40k except he's actually a competent badass
Yo Nux, look up Khorne's favourite human, Kharne 'The Betrayer'
He will become one of your favourite beings, because he's incredibly based in his devotion to Khorne.
39:10. Their ability to assimilate theire vicitims sound like what "The Thing" did in the 1982 movie.....
I want nux to check out Age of Sigmar lore to understand where it stands in the 40k verse, just in case you read this; during the neckrons rise up the old ones made a planet in the pocket plane in the warp to creat basically a ant farm to test which species can take out the neckrons, which time works differently there because time works differently in the warp
Yes! Nux finally scratched the surface of true War Hammer 40K lore XD
I laughed my ass off when 2 warhammer video ago you said "I almost know everything warhammer" 😂😂😂 you have no idea brother, its 500+ novels 😂
Lord Nux dives deeper into the warp. I fear we have lost him, for he is becoming a Warp Diety
I find it funny that Nux had no idea that half the galaxy being engulfed in Chaos was such a big deal.
Nux please cover odd world lore next by reliable rhubarb or pupbenny. It literally has odd in the name which is similar to weird, like your quote "stay weird fam"
Oh God, Ottawa is so embarrassing. I hate it here.
A Space Marine chapter I really like is the Death Specters. They are the Space Marines that watch over the ghoul stars.
the thing is the maladictum affects everyone and a massive chaos dub...
even the nids have a hard time penetrating the rift.
