I’ve watched it happen in the 8 years I’ve lived here (my mom is from Idaho). Seeing a tiny town become one of the larger cities with new suburbs inhabiting the old farmland is such a sad thing to see. How about this; feel free to visit, just please don’t move here. The Sawtooths Mountains and nearby lakes are so fantastic, I just drove all the way there from Tallahassee FL just to spend one day there. Also visited family in Twin.
The population has blown up shoulder to shoulder. No more solitude just a lot of ppl. Don't bother visiting and especially moving to Idaho. Very very rude ppl all over. May I suggest Iowa.
Regarding the hot springs, there’s well over a dozen natural rock hot springs in the national forests and on public lands with sweeping vistas and zero light pollution if you’re willing to bike or backpack into them on the “500-mile Hot Springs Loop” that if you really wanted to do the entire thing would climb up into Montana and loop back into Idaho from British Columbia. You would need to go by horse or bike for the majority of it though since you’d need several weeks worth of provisions unless you’re refilling in towns along the way like through-hikers do. How is the weather in southern Idaho? Like around Twin Falls area? That town seems to have all the stuff I like. (WinCo Foods, Pizza hut, Taco bell, KFC, Target, GameStop, Sportsman's Warehouse) What temperatures are average each season, and are there floods like the eastern US, or fire season like California? Do schools force teachers to get vaccinated or wear masks? And do they force them to teach that CRT bs? And if an Idaho teacher happens to see this, do you get raises with just a BA and credential, or is it based on additional educational graduate level units for raises? Anyone that knows those answers I'd appreciate if you can share the information.

I'm from Rupert Idaho. One of my favorite places, even though it's not actually some beautiful sight what you showed. I liked going to the Mammoth Cave museum in Shoshone. There was a cave you could go into. Pretty awesome. But the owner unfortunately died a while back, and not sure if his son will continue with the museum.
It’s a recreational paradise. Lots of hiking and fishing opportunities, numerous mountain lakes, whitewater rafting on the Salmon River, and the Sun Valley ski resort is only about an hour drive from the town of Stanley. Redfish Lake has a famous rustic resort.
Most of our population is located in the Treasure Valley. There are reasons for the amount of wildlife reserves here. We export more hops (for beer) , lentils, and onions than we do potatoes. Just because it says a team from Idaho is playing, does not mean it's the Idaho Vandals. Sometimes it's Boise State Broncos.
Glad to see we have an expert on everything here. Btw I prefer Idaho potatoes 🥔 and that’s what your state is known for outside your little area so you should be proud of that.

This video shows a couple nice places during a small window of the year. And those places aren't really nice anymore. The rest of the state is garbage. The people aren't nice. There's a lot of racists republicans here. Guns laws a really laxed so there are lots of guns everywhere and crime is really high. Jobs are hard to find. Most people who move here regret it and leave. Those of us who were born here try to get them to take us with them! There are much better places I would go if I could.

Potatoes are not the top agricultural export, it's hops for beer.
Ya..washington grows more potatoes then us...we grow beautiful people up here in CDA.

In my area of North Idaho we run Californians with Californian plates off the road. Stay out of the state. Especially if you are black or gay.
Ok ain't no liberal, but to be rude and say you cant come into our state because you are black or gay is rude and as idahoans that is not who we are, moral of the story you dont have to agree with someone but that does not mean you have to be rude to them
