✘SYNOPSIS: In the mid 60’s, a heinous crime takes place that effects the last person anyone would have guessed to possess such violent tendencies and crippling mental illness. When awarded Federal Marshall Andrew Laeddis snaps and murders his wife and three children, he immediately denies that he committed the crime. He is sent to the Lennox Sanitorium where he is sentenced to a procedure that will supposedly “tame” him and calm the turmoil in his head. While he is at the Sanitorium, his brain protects him from the truth and makes him believe that he is still a Federal Marshall tasked with finding a missing patient named Rachel. However, as he gets closer and closer to the truth, it’s revealed that Rachel isn’t a patient, but his daughter whom he murdered months before. She lives deep inside his brain and torments him in his waking and sleeping moments. He wants to uncover the truth despite her reminding him of his crime. When it’s obvious he won’t accept the truth, his psychiatrist tells him what he has done, and it finally clicks in his brain. Except it's too late, as he is finally lobotomized at the end.
