In case you wonder why I didn’t deleted this original version is because many of us have great memories of this place and watching it it feels like you are back there again.
Only 45 minute drive from Bakersfield California there is ( was ) Miracle and Remington hot springs.
I must mention that there might be nudist people here so maybe is not a good idea to bring children here.

That place doesn't allow nudity, it's illegal and they often gives it tickets for it. Anyone nude in a public place has no expectations of privacy and can absoybe recorded.
I do t know of if it’s legal or not, but I mention it so people are aware of it .
I can’t control what people can or cannot do , my only purpose is to share this beautiful places and let you know what I see and know.

Beautiful place
Remington is one of my favorite. There's another spring on the opposite side of the river Just 3 slight bends down stream from Remington, access best from 178 side.

It’s a great great video direction. I’m heading to Remington this weekend. A bit confusing me the direction from Remington to Miracle HS. You said back to where we were and drive 1.7 miles to Hobo. I thought Hobo is the entrance to Remington.
Is Miracle located inside Hobo camp ground? Or do we have to go back to Kern Canyon rd and drive 1.7 miles to Miracle?
Hobo is the entrance to miracle, use the parking on the left and walk the trail for about 5 minutes to the hot springs. Exit hobo turn right drive 1.7 miles to Remington.

Yes both places you might find nudist
It’s supposed to be family friendly. Rangers will Give tickets to people who are nude. But there’s nudist very often.
I used to go here when everyone was Naked

It pays to be friendly to the locals. 5here are more hot springs in the area. But if the forest rangers catch people at the popular ones. They blow them up. So it's a hush hush type thing.
I believe the forest service has since torn down the pools. Too many people and too much trash!

I wonder how is miracles hot springs during the summer?
I personally prefer to hike to hot springs during cold weather for me it’s more enjoyable, hiking on hot weather to get in hot water could be a formula for disaster ( dehydration )

@@EL90291 if it's in a national Park, it's not the state Law but the federal Law, and in the USA there is no federal Law against nudity.

I used to go to Miracle Hot Springs for years, we all went in the nude

@@nancynichols8659 I know of 3 other Hot Springs around that area, and 2 in the desert, Forest Rangers don't seem to ever go to those one's
