Converting a container to a comfy livable space will cost as much as building a brick and motar house.

I thought I was the only one unable to can with that cost. Container homes unfortunately are not a solution for more affordable housing. They are a new option for those who can afford brick and mortar homes but want the cool factor and quick completion time for a container home.

I don't know if you are Kenyan, or have at least been to Kenya but container homes and offices have been a thing here for many years now. This guy in the video didn't pioneer them, many companies have been doing container conversions.
The reason they haven't gained momentum in Kenya is because they are unjustifiably expensive, so people would rather build with the traditional brick and mortar.

Don’t let anyone fool you. These so called container houses costs an arm, a leg and all of your head. 2.1M is a solid 2 bedroom house. Or 3. And then the attitude of the makers! What! Yet they are not the original makers. I am gone. Iron sheets are super expensive. Everything is bloody expensive in Kenya including the cheapest commodity called Hardcore. Greedy country.

Life in Kenya is expensive. So it is in New York, London, or Luanda. Greed is a human character found everywhere. It is not exclusive to Kenya. We all deal with it.
