Nikke is unironically a game where you came for the "plot" but stayed for the story. Anyone who finished and read chapter 1 is lying if they said they felt nothing. I didn't think I'd ever end up with a second main gacha outside of FGO, but here I am 6 months later with no regrets. Well my wallet might say otherwise but that's the gacha streamer life.

I'll bait. I'm about to finish FGO's main story and I'm looking for a new game as my main game. If Nikke is as good as any of the Lost Belt(minus 3 which kinda sucks) I'm in for a treat.

I went into the game for the meme of it but I’ve been hooked every since. The lore is my favorite part and I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here. Hopefully one day we get an anime adaptation.

oh btw idk if you watched it but this game feels incredibly similar to God Eater in just the way the world building is and overall theme and atmosphere to even the type of music and how the actual anime cutscenes are. The type of animation used is practically the same it feels like. Definitely feels heavily inspired by God Eater!

Not gonna lie, I came to Nikke ever since its release for the "plot", but I stayed because of the plot. I'm stuck at chapter 18 but still playing for Marian. Shift Up, you better reunite us again even if just for a while in chapter 25/26. She's one precious goofball, and it is unfair to not show her up again after 10 chapters T_T

Thanks for making this guide. End game seems... a lot more complicated than I thought.. lol. Like I have not even see the gold or purple colored gear yet but I've seen it on other people and didnt even know about the synchro enhance thing... I have most of my characters to level 160 lol... I also dont know if this is a good thing but I dont mind leveling up all my characters to max without synchro and even the skills. I love doing max everything... although may take me like literally months and prolly years to fully actually finish it all off on all characters lol.

The story of that game got me, i love cyberpunk stuff. My nikkes are lvl 170+ already and I still dont have modernia or scarlet...and how can you repeat lost sector for batteries? I only did every stage once for the cube
Y’know, when I first saw this game, I thought : “yeah yeah whatever” under the consensus that it was just another scam anime game made to take in downloads and money. Then I caved after seeing like 300 ads about it and decided to download thinking : “it’s prolly just another scam game”
So here I am a month and a half later, level 50, and in love with the story
But no seriously, if you haven’t got the game yet, I highly recommend at least trying it out for a bit, and if it doesn’t tickle your fancy, that’s fine, there’s always something out there, but again, I still highly recommend that you try it out if you haven’t already.
