New Peterbilt 389 Build & we need your help!!!

We have this really cool 78in stand-up here and thought it would be awesome to get your input on this build! Go to our Facebook page to download the 389 outline and start designing a paint scheme. We will choose a winner on 11/13/2023 all entries must be submitted by 11/10/2023 send in your artwork to SemiCasualShow@gmail.com
The stripe design should use Red and Blue leaving the truck color white.
The chosen paint design will receive a printed rendering signed by us, a big swag bag filled with lots of cool stuff and once the T-shirts are printed you will also receive 2 shirts as well. 2nd and 3rd prizes will receive a swag bag from SemiCasual. GOOD LUCK and we can not wait to see what everyone comes up with.

I vote for ACTIVE STACKS and a shock box cover. Definitely have to do 4 round headlights.
Active stacks aren’t worth having to run that big ugly step box for the dpf. “Fake” stacks all day

I vote for active stacks. The 76 spirit paint job. The corvette dash would be a great piece of the 359 tribute.
Glass watermelon breather lights and cab lights are A MUST!!!

As a Peterbilt fan, I say it will be an honor to be able to contribute to a new project on the channel 🙂
I can see Tommy is torn on which way to go but we've seen alot of new stuff lately and to be honest everyone is going that route you have proven that you can do basically anything with those Pete's so if this build is to truly honor the tribute seems like the choice is easy do it justice and go all out old-school retro style it'll show the world what's capable to do still with a new modern truck let's not forget that this is the last year for the 389 so go out with a bang honoring the past love what guys do
Active old school 5 inch mitred stacks with heatshields, relocate DEF, ditch the small tank install a second large tank and move tanks forward. Painted cab and sleeper panels. 359 headlights with fender mounted turn signals (359 style) and delete mirror signals. 5 bullet roof lights. Old school breathers. Hogebuilt quarter fenders. 18 inch bumper with tapered ends like the other old school truck yall built.
Relocate DEF....yeah to the scrap pile!

Definitely old school breathers. Old school cab light setup (3 tight in the middle) Hidden def tank. Chad Berry front air ride setup

Old school chrome will get you home.
Active stacks. Old school pin strips red & blue. In god we trust on the back. Full fenders on the back. T bars under the truck and in back. I would make the front to bar a Def tank. Cab lights all across the cab. Etc. Get some headlights like Tim Gentry has on Rooster

The first 2 things that come to mind is, the visor like y’all put on the cream orange and brown truck ya just did as well as the bug screen only in red. Full fenders

You guys have no problem adding chrome n accessories sometimes you even over do it
Lights in the breathers n cab n sleeper panels with more lights n maybe some 8 inch stacks
Hub covers n maybe a headache rack
I say paint the top blue and make it look like its just running down the sides. Then paint the bottom red but leave the middle part white and make it look like its running down over the red. I cant draw so I wont be able to draw up a picture. Good luck with it.

Put a 379 grill surround on it with 8" stove top stacks 22" miter bumper half fenders 6" drop panels on cab and sleeper 12 going rear t-bar with some clear watermelon duel rev lights and a bowtie visor
Needs a good mix of old and new, the DEF tank has to be hidden plus 4 round headlights and 359 grill bars for sure.
Needs Active 7" straight pipes with mitered cut, 1/2 fenders, 7 lights on the cab...
Five inch stacks red and white stripe all the way around the Sides of it and call it american dream
5 inch stacks with the flaps on the top
Go old school so it looks like the 70's best look. Erirs truck is awesome so older looking better i think
My only suggestion is true working big tube Aussie cut stacks!! Please no fake stacks.
Start with '80's square headlights, maybe strapless breathers..... bowtie drop visor with micro lights on the cab. All exterior lighting hidden, like the boogie man. Late 70's and 80's paint scheme with American flag insert that wraps over top the hood and sleeper. 359 grill
No matter what you do the only thing that hood needs is a hound dog hood ornament!!!!!!!!
The patriot edition was super cool I feel like a mix of old and new would be sweet just FYI the 359 edition had a blue frame
Add.Pinstripes To The Cab
Hide the def tank and put old school fuel tanks
Lower front end/drop visor/cab&sleeper panels
How about full chrome delete. Everything paint and powder coat. Stacks, bumpers, steps, breathers, everything. With paint designs flowing over them.
Well the first thing you do is change it out for a sexy freightliner cascadia.

Painted panels I had a little pastel airbrush
Always remember.. less is more...4 thin pinstrip lines at sleeper lights height all the way around truck.. top line red two center blue bottom line red . change all lights to glass amber with the center one green .. exhaust should be 5" flat top( lincoln chrome).. change mirrors to 70s style ..change head lights to double round (with JJ Brackets).. put a 359 marker light on outside front fenders .. 18" boltless 45degree bumper .. change airclearers ..painted of course (with dina-flex lids).. half fenders non-painted ... painted boltless drop visor .. keep it simple and old school ...😮😮
Active stacks 7 inch turnbacks 60 inches in height, 24.5 wheels with the milled out larger holes, red bug shield, red straps on the breathers and fuel tanks, red double hump fenders, rear center light panel in chrome with 4 lights, front bumper red and the grille surround, paint the headlight backs matching red of the frame.
It would be cool if the three winners could come up and check out the finished product and meet the guys!

How about a Working Expedited trucks and yes with an aero-cab … single or dual axle…
Airbrush that would be awesome!! Round up somebody on your videos that can help out with some airbrush accents. Surely there's some artists that watch your Channel that will help you with the airbrush paint accents
Paint The Fuel Tanks To Match The Frame
The sleeper should be fire engine red and the hood needs to be Blue leave the main cabin section white.
Needs 24.5 wheels & tires!!!

The frame is red then paint the sleeper white and paint the hood blue with the stars all over it.

You need more red
Paint the grill surround and white vinyl over the sleeper windows. Paint the cab panels and fenders front/rear red, then add a blue strip above the fenders.
Paint The Visor White With Inside Painted Red
1776 should be included someplace on the truck.

Letters should start fromt of hood growing bigger toward door then across sleeper bigger taking up hole sleeper fadded letters into solid colored letters same red as frame thats paint sceem
I vote go off an movie, transformer or some older movie, idk something I live in North Texas and I'm young 35 but I love and was raised old school, let's see breast cancer pink or copper color just stay away from white, red and black for one build

Why not do a patriot theme in a vinyl wrap incorporating your comp logo and advertising . When your done pull off the wrap and the paints new ready to sell .
Real stacks , different custom alum wheels white lettering on tires , lots of accessories and lights
Okay I'm going to go out a little bit of a rant here I'm so sick of dealerships ordering 18 speeds 18 speed transmission years ago were for heavy hauling I'm a 13-speed guy myself for on-road trucks
U can shift it like an 13 if U want
The reason most have 18spds is retail value & 13spd are available if ordered from factory
