Now that’s what I call a beautiful truck, not the new 589 interttrashanal looking truck. And having put in the best engine ever made is a golden mine. Best of all is yet you guys made it look even better.
Them kiser boys have always had some of the sharpest dump buckets around now that they have branched out into the cow hauling and refer world they damn sure got some top notch rides
Saw this truck at the Mayberry truck show shortly after this video was made. What an awesome truck. The new flooring was amazing. The stitching on the door and ceiling panels was a nice touch. My wife says now incorporate the red, white and blue stitching into the seats somehow for a perfect finishing touch.
Finally, a real truck on the channel with the real motor, with the real dash and real gauges, none of that Tesla/Volvo Dash, one question, does the peanut cover say Cat? Is it 6NZ or is that second best 2WS? ❤❤ more older trucks please we don’t want to see new norm on this channel.
Awesome looking truck. I would hate to be the tow truck driver that got called to go pick up this truck if it should ever need to be towed. That is definitely show quality. Brian, TY for sharing. Dave from Maine.
@@P_Murriel I know Cat makes replacement 3406s, but how is it legal in a 389 where, by its rate of build, would need a Tier 4 engine. Now, I’m not an innocent, like deletes, it could just be driving around non-compliant. I doubt Fitzgerald would be working on it risking an EPA fine.
@@GLEX234 it is true glider which means it has a gggg in the vin number. No engine, transmission, or rears when it was new so you could put whatever you wanted in it and it doesn’t have to meet the emissions year standards for the truck year just the engine
Its a lil dusty but im just run my fingers across it to show ya how ya can't feel the paint lines.......am sure greg probably cringed......i know i did
LETERING MUST BE REDONE. First, may I say that this is an AWESOME build, certainly worthy of the SemiCasual team. However, at the risk of sounding rude (yet honest), the lettering on the driver's side frame is absolutely atrocious (most likely, the other side is as well, but I didn't focus on it). For 50 years, I have never owned a vehicle that I did not pinstripe or have custom lettered, including gold leaf on show cars, etc.; hence, I am a connoisseur. With that said, I would encourage you to have the lettering removed and redone. Just take a close look at the lettering as it appears in this youtube video, and through only the naked eye, you can see how unsteady are the lines, and how the line weight fluctuates to an unacceptable level (plus, it looks orange, although that could just be how it appears in the video). As to the artwork, it is plainly substandard, while it also cheapens the overall pristine quality of the rig. I know you guys are meticulous as well as considerate of people's feelings...perhaps you do wish to risk the feelings of the artist; but we see what we see, and most of the time, our eyes do not lie. Othewise, as first stated--AWESOME JOB, Brian. Respectfully, J.
Fenders , lightbars & bumper are too low. Snow or mud for possible off road loading or delivering could be a problem. Also should have bumper higher for access for towing if & when needed. This look may be cool for a show truck but is not what I would want for a working truck Just my opion. --' Dave

Beautiful truck. Awesome work guys. And she’s got a kitty in her win-win.👍👍👍
The red pinstriping & other highlights really set it off great!

I agree is a 2WS before c15...
That Rig is so clean
I’d buy that and use as a daily driver around town. More pleasing than a Aston Martin.
I wish you could talk him into deleting the door window all in all a very nice truck love the cat
SUPER NICE SLICK PAINT SCHEME

Wow what a beauty. Really cool
Nice Largecar

Beautiful truck
Kiser trucking has something like 60 trucks. Everything they have looks like show trucks. Even the ones they work.
They don't have that many trucks more like 25
Very nice truck
The Black With The Blue Stripes Looks Sharp On The Peterbilt 👍💯

How is Cat engine in a 389?
It’s a glider kit, when they were still legal to build.
Some people still make them . I have a “23“ with a 1998 3406. And love it.

389 came out first in 2006 which is just before the change in 2008

The guy butchered the writing on the door on the new Rethwisch one, but the chassis job on this one is dismal
