    this is a great video. I shoot corporate work and you even gave me some ideas to use. I'm also glad you promote pro gear. I started using a lot of the cheapest gear but now shoot with better gear. I should have started just buying the good stuff.

    Amazingly good video 👏 I have a video studio with FX6 A7S3 and FX30 cameras and manage to persuade clients to film there with just b roll at their place as an upsell. Saves so much hassle especially room treatments for audio

    Hey, this was a great video. I've been doing corporate interviews for a decent amount of time, still don't have some of the stuff you mention, but this is a very thorough and practical video for somebody trying to get up to speed on what you'll need to get what corporate clients want/need, and you really covered all the bases (including how hard it is to find a teleprompter to rent and that you won't actually need some of what you mention until you need it). Only thing I'd echo is a lot of the gear you mention is on the expensive side, and as somebody mentioned below there's cheaper alternatives etc. Especially for somebody just getting into this they are probably not going to have the budget for some of what you mention. But overall really great video.

    • @wintersummermedia

      Yeah, you're right. It is quite expensive. Maybe I'll do a budget-friendly video in the future. Thanks for the comment!

    Great video! :-) That is a lot of heavy equipment for the lighting especially to bring to a client. I have not yet decided what carrying stuff to invest in for my gear and it's starting to hold me back on bring all the good stuff the client. What do you use to carry the c-stands, tripods, lighting, etc. when going on corporate shoots? Thanks!

    • @wintersummermedia

      I usually assess each job and determine how much of my kit I will actually need. I try and avoid bringing c-stands and opt for only light stands because they are smaller. You're right though, it is a lot of equipment and in corporate video it's better to be light as to not intimidate the people on camera. I use a collapsible wagon from Amazon (about $200). It can hold all my gear, a couple light stands and a couple c-stands when needed.

      This setup will fit in pretty much any car in North America. I usually drop the back seats down so the c-stands can fit better.

    I would add: rocket blower, decent rolling bags, small accessories bags, White balance card

    • @wintersummermedia

      Yes! Never heard of a rocket blower but I assume that is to blow dust from the lens.

    The SmallHD Action 5 Monitor is discontinued (noted on their site as well as B&H). The nearest equivalent SmallHD has is nearly 4 times the price. There's lots of cheap (and not so great) equivalents. I wonder if there's a viable alternative in the $400 range.

    • @wintersummermedia

      That's too bad. In that case, I would go with the Atomos Shinobi 5. I have been using it for a year and it has been reliable. Although I prefer SmallHD, the Atomos gets the job done.

    I like my fx3, still impoving to use it, biggest problem to film a glider in the sky and keep the image sharp.....

    • @wintersummermedia

      Hmm... I might ask what lens are you using? And what's your aperture when filming these gliders? And also what's your shutter speed when filming? These three things could be affecting the sharpness.

    • @KarelZweefvlieger

      Hai , using sony lenses. general 30 or 60 fps, iso 800 - often a lot of light. daylight
      cannot find the aperture too bad

    • @wintersummermedia

      My best guess would be to try and film at the lowest aperture you can. So 2.8 or 4 or whatever your lens's lowest value is.@@KarelZweefvlieger

    How many camera angles do recommend for a corporate video ?

    • @wintersummermedia

      It depends... If you are planning to shoot lots of broll too then one camera angle is good but if you won't capture too much broll then having a second camera angle will definitely help in the editing.

    I find it odd that you make this video telling someone that this is the best set up for $15,000, and in the same video you’re explaining what an ND filter is and how it works. I feel like for someone watching this video, if they don’t know what an ND filter is, they probably shouldn’t be watching this video and investing $15,000. And for those of us that know what an ND filter is and know at least the basics of operating a Camera in a corporate environment, it’s a waste of time for us. I feel like you have two separate videos you need to make here, one for the novice videographer with a cheap set up to learn the basics, and this video for those of us who know what we’re doing, but are watching for your opinion on what you think the best gear is.

    • @wintersummermedia

      Yeah, you're probably right. I could make it into two videos. At the same time, I often get hired by this video company that owns 3 FX3s and does way more work than I do and I just convinced him to buy his first ND filter. So I'm not sure... but thank you for the feedback. I will keep that in mind for future videos.

    • @PrestonGladd

      @@wintersummermedia Fair enough, but honestly with that mindset you can just use 2 iPhone 15 pro’s, an ND case from freewell with variable 2-5, usb-c dock, T-7 SSD, rode wireless pro / video mic NTG, 3 apature 300’s and have the same results while saving about $8,000.

    • @PrestonGladd

      @@wintersummermedia and by “that mindset” i’m referring to having someone that actually knows what they’re doing in videography versus someone who just buys the gear. Someone that knows what they’re doing and how to properly use the equipment can make those iPhones work better than someone who has $50,000 with a Gear but no clue what they’re doing technically speaking. Which sounds like what you’re referring to.
