Genuinely worked for me. Changed fused NOT worked. Then removed the 4 cable clips and put then put them back worked 💯. Thanks mate.

I'd spend half a day went through about 15 videos, in and out my front door and my car but NO luck!

Unplug and re-plug the 4 connectors! THANKS!!! I only checked the fuses looking for a blown one on the circuit. I pulled the Central locking one out by mistake... locks wouldn't work and then my wife wanted a new car !! :) Saved me some cash!! Thanks...

My central locking was not working on an 08 astra twintop I just purchased. I noticed it worked when I pressed the lock button inside the car. I had the fob tested at a key cutting place. I was just about to follow your methods and clicked the key fob and low and behold it's working. Strange? Maybe the seller was doing it wrong or maybe the battery needs changing. 🤞😄
That's great sometimes it happens , When I had this car, it would refuse to start many time but then I use spare key and it does start, or I wait few minutes pressing lock and unlock while key is on ignition then few minutes it will start the car
@@nuramoboy Yes the key was in the ignition when I pressed the interior door lock button. Maybe that fixed the central locking issue. I bought the car and was told the roof did not work, possibly a gear issue. The replacement brass gears are £22 on eBay. I will replace them. But I am not going to even test that the roof works until they arrive as I'm scared it may get stuck and I don't want to have to close it then open it LOL🙂

I will try this tomorrow cause using the fob the driver door does not lck but the rest do.so Im assuming it's step two?

all four of my doors are deadlocked and wont open with remote
makes all the sounds of locking and un locking but am at wits end with it now
Just follow the video instructions, I'm your case, start with removing all four wires, leave for a minutes and then check if u still hear locking sound and not locking or unlocking, then u definitely have a broken wires under the door, check and let us know, thanks

My problem is that the door don't lock, plus the radio doesn't work, it works when i open the door.
that's Exactly what is your problem you need to follow the video instruction also rear in the boot there is 4 connection you wanna remove them and put them back after a minute
I have this same problem but also my speaker don't work on the door that ain't locking do anyone know if that's coz of the door not locking or is that a separate problem thanks

@@nuramoboy not yet I couldn't find any damage anywhere all the wires seem to he in good condition so I geuss I will have to take it to the mechanic
My locks are burned out on 3 of the doors and they are stuck shut, how do you replace the locks?

Cant open any of the 3 doors including drivers, can open the back passeger side though.
Mine is exactly the same! All doors deadlocked and only drivers and rear passenger doors open. How am I going to fix it if I can't open the door to do so? Just my luck 😭

I done the 4 plugs but the problem keeps coming back

Basically the central locking don't work only the boot. I tried the ignition barrel and the white pin goes back freely and I tried the fuse under the bonnet, fuse 7 tried a 10amp and a 30amp. Tried the 25amp fuse in the boot aswell. Only thing I can think of it maybe a bad relay somewhere.
U need to check the wire offside rear ,that is your solution,
