LOvely! Wow! Your recipe, as far as the ingredients go, is very similar to the biryani recipe we follow regularly. We will try this interesting oven method! thank you for sharing!
Top recipe this, I make it in bulk. I swapped out the baby potatoes for King Edwards, left out the fried onions and it tasted amazing. Healthy and tasty my favourite kinda food.
Delicious guide to making a lazy Chef's Dream Chicken Biryani! Loved the easy steps and focus on maximum flavor. Thanks for the detailed instructions and tips!
Made this a couple of days ago, came out perfect and tasty , it’s more of a pulao rather than a biryani, but I knew that , this recipe is a keeper, thanks so much
Great recipe for a quick biryani and nicely explained. Turned out nice but a little too sour for my taste. Next time i will leave out the tomato purée. Also at 200c rice got semi burnt at edges, so next time will try at 180c.
Shamsa what an amazing talent you are - I've just started watching many of the videos on your channel (5 in the last day to be precise) and I'm blown away by your phenomenal method of instruction and demonstration. Every dish I've seen so far looks just amazing and tasty and yet you make it look so easy. I just love Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi food and cooking it although I've never ventured to make a Biryani but I'm definitely going to give your recipe a go. Just like you I'm salivating looking at the amazing food you cook.😋 Thank you so so much.👏👏👏🙂🙂🙂
Looks delish. I have never had rice and potatoes together until recently and i am 60 lol. I quite like it now . This looks really good. Greetings from beautiful Lancashire.
I have a pack of chicken with the sell by date tomorrow so I thought I'd make chicken tikka masala but now that I've seen your video I will make Biryani. I have majority of the ingredients. Thank you.
I was looking for an Okra Chicken recipe. I have never done it before. In Bangladesh, this kind of cooking is not very common. Especially in my area. Even I never heard it before until I got to a Pakistani takeaway. I have severe food allergies so trying to find out more specific recipes that suit me. I have watched several videos after that Okra Chicken on your channel. Because I loved the way you explained it. And it seems the healthiest curry recipes I have seen on internet. Like other cooking channels, you don't make the recipes very complicated and scary. I am a good cook and always go for easy ones. I believe Food taste depends on the person, not on the complicated cooking process. I am going to share your channel with every non-South Asian friend and English-speaking friend. Lots of people ask me about South Asian recipes as I am Bangladeshi. Sometimes I even don't know how to describe small things that make food delicious. Even I need to learn easy and healthy cooking from your channel. A few days back, my Polish colleague asked me to give her some curry recipes. I explained a few of them but not in a better way. I never found someone to explain South Asian recipes in English so well. I love your British accent. Not many young British people have got that beautiful accent. Hats off lady! Don't care if someone said you are ruining the traditional recipe or something like that. We need a traditional taste, not traditional cooking processes. I never cared about traditional processes and still, I am a better cook than thousands of people 😀 Lots of love from Bristol, UK❤️
Thank you, I'm not sure to be honest. As I've only tested this much. I'm guessing it would take longer if it was in the same dish, possibly twice the time. But you would need to test it or use two dishes and split equally.
@MyLittleKitchenRecipes no offence its not at college a biryani iam from hyderbad proper biryani which it invented hyderabadi, biryani really don't make biryani like this please make english dishesh call it as english biryani
I think both of you are either extremely dyslexic or just born without brain cells! 😂😂 sorry shamsss you have to deal with this.. Let me just say one thing, it’s clear both of you don’t either understand or speak English or are just plain stupid. She called it a LAZY version of biriyani. This looks so good and you guys aren’t here for the support but more for the stupidity and hating. This is for people LIKE MYSELF who work long nights and doubles, I get extremely tired and can’t be bothered to cook. Maybe next time think before you post your stupid comments! Anyway another amazing recipes shame!! Keep it up ❤🎉😅😊
Everyone has their own take on biryani. From different regions to different techniques. I’ll be trying this recipe out over the Christmas holidays. Keep up the good work little kitchen!
Ahh Have you ever seen how biryani is actually made? It’s a labour of love. If you buy a ready to use spice blend, this is the simplest and easiest recipe you can possibly hope for. I’m just turned 56. Cooked every type of biryani since I was 17 years old. Was obsessed with it throughout my 20s. Tried all sorts of methods too. Cooked huge pots of it. Biryani is always going to require plenty of different ingredients. That’s the nature of the dish.
The rice is also not cooked properly even at the top still need cooking only underneath rice is cooked .And this is not the way to make chicken biryani i am sorry to say this.
Okay I love this! As a lazy man who is tired after work, this is my new go to! Thank you sooo much
That's exactly the reason behind creating this dish! Enjoy
@MyLittleKitchenRecipes bless you and your family!

Yeah sure did thanks to all my subcrbibers. :)

Look nice n tasty I ate this type of all in one sometimes in Lebanon.
Nice.
Well done 👏🏽 sis ❤
Thanks
This looks amazing!!! Thank you!!! I was wondering, if I was to double the recipe, does the cooking time increase? Or will it stay the same?
Thank you, I'm not sure to be honest. As I've only tested this much. I'm guessing it would take longer if it was in the same dish, possibly twice the time. But you would need to test it or use two dishes and split equally.
Winner winner chicken & pots biryani dinner. 107K👍
Thank you, sure was and is.
Awesome 😎
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you Shamsa. Can you please do an instant pot chicken or lamb briyani. Thank you
It's on the list to do thanks.
What did you do with the rice? Never mentioned it si no idea what to do with it at this point
Thanks, this looks amazing. I’m going to try it tomorrow. How long do you pre soak the rice for ?
Hope you enjoy, normally around 30 mins
If I omit the potatoes, are the other measurements still the same?
Nice
Thank you
Will definitely try this one , and , don’t we need to add ginger garlic paste ?
No need
Thank you
Could you do the same with diced lamb?
Potentially, but I've not tested that yet. It's on my to do list, although the recipe will be a little different.
Can u make some more one pot pan recipes
They are on the list
This biryani looks lovely. I’m going try and make this, is there something else I could use instead of potatoes?
Can i just use a ready made biryani masala packet?
I don't see why not.
All it needs now is a few curry sauces to eat with it.
We normally have Biryani without curry sauce. That's more of a resturant thing, but I will be doing one at some point
Instead of making the byriani powder cn we get the byriani box laziza or other brand Nd use this powder ? If yes do we use 1 full sachet or less ?
I haven't tried it using powdered masala, you'll have to test it and let me know.
I believe you can use laziza biryani mix. One packet = 500-750g chicken can be used as stated on the laziza biryani mix box.
My favourite food is Indian not too hot . This looks so delicious. im surprised there is no ghee in it
You can use ghee, but you would need to warm it up.
@MyLittleKitchenRecipes Yes, especially after it's been in the fridge its like a brick lol
How much chicken rice and yogurt ?
Check the ingredients in the description box
Can you give me name of basmati rice you use
It's detailed in the description box
I checked in the description box I didn’t find name of rice you used
Rice it’s called Veetee extra long basmati rice
👍👍👍
👍👍
The description didn’t work. It simply redirected me to another recipe.
Quantities not shown can anyone help
This looks interesting. Is the product placement accidental? Just asking Aapa! Don't shout!❤
I dont do product placements!

👍
Is the chicken cooked 🤔🤔
Obviously!
👍👍👍👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎉🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦
🎉
It's a cheats method. Will not taste like an authentic traditional breyani.
Please marry me😢
No thanks. Definitely not Biryani!!
ok Superchef, that's exactly what goes into a biryani. Just a different way of cooking it - look into kachi biryani.
I’m sorry but no, don’t ruin the tradition please 😮
Don't fight it till you try it.
@MyLittleKitchenRecipes no offence its not at college a biryani iam from hyderbad proper biryani which it invented hyderabadi, biryani really don't make biryani like this please make english dishesh call it as english biryani

too complicated . . i was lost in the 1st few mins

Thank you, that's why I tried to get it simple. You can cheat and use a pre-made masala if you want.
The rice is also not cooked properly even at the top still need cooking only underneath rice is cooked .And this is not the way to make chicken biryani i am sorry to say this.
I'm sure she invited you over for dinner to check out the recipe and that's why you know how well its cooked. Get back in your box.
