i have the NBA JAM countercade, and although pricy, it’s very well built and the screen is very impressive. i love it and will likely get the MK version.
for the low volume issues, I believe you can get into the test menu by performing the Ed Boon secret menu combination. In the test menu is an option to turn the volume up and down also which is probably separate from the external volume control on the outside. For some reason MK2 is always emulated quieter then the other MKS
for anyone seeing this before 04/10/22 these are on sale for $149.99 instead of the normal $230. On 04/10 they go back up to $230 so if your on the fence, now is the time to get one
Has anyone tried mounting these on a wall with a small tv mount/bracket? Seems like the direction I want to go in for my garage gameroom. I’m only worried the backing of the system won’t hold up.
Do the codes to unlock the 3 hidden characters in Ultimate MK3 (mk2 subzero, ermac, mileena) work? and do they save? I know they work for other versions, but what about the countercade?
Definitely gonna try to talk the wife into letting me get this. I'm a 90s kid who still remembers going to the arcade and waiting in the huge line to get to mk3 just to have my ass kicked. Not sure if you've had a chance to dive deeper into the cabinet but does it look like I could mod the cab by say hooking a raspberry pi to the monitor then plugging the control deck into the unit without tearing it up too much?

My joystick arrived fine with no functionality issues. Maybe you have a defective unit?

Would have been interesting to have MK4 on there but I guess that would have needed a higher chipset or something.
Wow I Got the First Wave MK 1up cab and the Streetfighter cab. That Counter cade looks awesome and I'm sure people will mod them
