Excited for this one! Started my kiddo on carnivore a couple of weeks ago. He has ASD, but has been exploding in language and communication since going all in! Every parent of a neurodivergent child needs to give it a try!
Keep us updated on your child's progress, really interested in gathering evidence to persuade a friend that she's basically poisoning her son....thank you 😊
@MeatingWellness hey Cristie! You, to a tee, described my son and his issues. Aged 10 now, looking to switch him to keto/Carnivore. (I'm 7 months carnivore and MS and menopause symptoms have disappeared! 😊). One question: is your son still o meds for husband ADHD? TIA 🎉

Thank you for sharing your story. I also had a son with ADHD and wish I would go back in time and implement the carnivore diet and less vaccinations. I give you a lot of credit for all that you did because it is exhausting being a mom of a child with any disorder.
I’m 37 and I have many similar issues to her son: focus issues, stimilus overwhelm, misophonia, extreme sound sensitivity to the point where I sleep with noise cancelling headphones and almost wear them 24/7. I sometimes get snappy and angry simply because I’m expected to sit in a noisy, smelly cafeteria and converse normally with colleagues, while I’m battling overwhelm. It’s lead to broken relationships, lost jobs and isolation. Not to mention low self image and exhaustion with trying so hard. I think it’s time I gave carnivore another try.
Incredible. She took back her sons health. No doubt, had she not been successful starting him on this diet.. he probably would have dropped out of high school and struggled to keep a job. Getting into criminal activity is very typically for people that match his tendencies as a child. This woman saved the life of her son. Hats off to this incredible mother.

Yes YES! Same “breakfast” deal here in AL. Mostly processed cereal and sweets, ice cream bar Thursdays, candy for rewards on Fridays, etc. No point in serving free breakfast and lunch if it isn’t even food 🙄
Thanks for sharing your story. Hopeful that more and more parents with kids will share their stories of how it is helping their children. It is also helpful to hear what accommodations you used to help support your son to make different food choices.
Thank you, Christie, for teaching our kids! If you have never been the teacher, a school aid, or a volunteer a school, you have no idea how much work goes into managing a class of 20 or more students and then going home to manage your own kids! Elementary school teachers, especially are some of the hardest working people anywhere.
That’s hard to be a parent where you have done it one way for a child and then the other child is soooooooo different. People think OMG I would have done XY&Z…. But when you are living it day in and day out, it’s hard AF. We as parents expect one thing but the kids are different than us. They are not us at all. They are their own people. I am empathetic with her bc I had 3 different kids that I raised and they were soooo opposite from one another. That’s a challenge and luckily they are adults now. Bravo mom! No one is a perfect parent bc no person is perfect. We can only do the best we can do and just make sure we raise respectable/functioning adults who we want to hang out with. Bravo mom! We can only do the best we can do. And that’s to all the parents out there. Don’t compare yourself to the rest, do what you can do to the best of your ability.
Thank you Anthony for this episode and love the sharing of Christie’s experience. I’m wondering if there are more carnivores kids out there and any more sharing on the topic. I started to give my 5y 10 m son only ground beef for his breakfast for the last couple of months, and now he wants his beef for dinner as well. Unfortunately I still can’t get him to give up sweet treats like his chocolate wrapped hazelnuts and a piece of fruit here and there. He has had high TSH and slow growth curve ( bone age a year younger than his age) I didn’t want to give him thyroid medication right away and try to see if his diet and supplementing iodine would make any improvements. Even though we just started the journey, I have never given him a lot of sugar or starch like the other parents do. I understand the harm of too much carbohydrates does to our body and myself benefitted from the keto-carnivore diet. My son is super intelligent. He is advanced at least for 2-3 years intellectually, I believe his low carb- healthy fat diet has contributed to his brain development. However, when I see other kids are all taller and more athletic than him, I always wonder if small kids does need more carbs. And if it’s the sugar high that makes them move so much and the move stimulates the growth. I hope Anthony can talk about low-carb / animal based diet or young child and wish there are any carnivore familles with young kids share their experiences.
I’ve listened to this interview three times now including once with my 13 yo daughter. She is starting keto tomorrow similar to how the guest’s son did. We went grocery shopping together today. I have been carnivore for over two months now with great benefit as I am ADHD. Lost 16 lbs and gained lean muscle mass as I am getting stronger in the gym.
What an inspiring interview. My mom was a highl school and retired 3 years prior to her 25 year full pension due to growing negative environmental administrative and student stresses. From what I heard here it looks like things are 100 percent worse. It is heartwarming to hear this story.
RFK Jr. Brought this up in his speech about the war on our children where they are developing so many illness and mental disorders. I am so happy to see that carnivore helps improve this and that makes me hopeful for the future!
Yes, I for one am glad RFK Jr. spoke about this. Senator Ron Johnson also just held a panel discussion on the topic with such speakers as Casey Means, Jordan Peterson, and Chris Palmer. It was fantastic.
I am currently struggling with my 6 year old son. Was saying how exhausting he is making me lately. Not diagnosed as of yet, but his dad and I have adhd. I have been for months cutting the sugar and carbs down. Then just found out he is eating cereal at school and ice cream at grandma's. Ahhh!!
I had a similar situation with my son when he was a small boy ……. I also realised he had the related side line issues …ie Psoriasis Asthma Bedwetting…… took him to a famous NZ Homeopathic Dr who gave us tools which were mostly diet related, and it was like flipping a switch!……long story short, I stopped all vaccinations…when it got difficult coz pressure was coming to “vaccinate or no school”! I threw out his records and we moved to another country……yes I lied, and yes we got away with it….don’t know if that would work today….hes 35+ now and it’s his responsibility now to suffer the consequences if he drinks alcohol sodas or junk food …. His health is in his hands now👍🇦🇺❤️🥩
I noticed that having certain foods causes brain inflammation. That frequently results in rage, extreme irritation and inability to process stimuli of any sort. I experienced it firsthand and I am realizing how deadly grains and refined sugars. It is sobering and chilling
Hello Anthony I want to thank and congratulate on the amazing work you do on this channel. I’ve been most of my life primarily a carnivore 70-80 % meat since most of my life now 33 years old. Can you do a video specifically on ground beef since lately I’ve been using that for daily consumption and would like to hear from an expert. Thank you and keep it up
We didn’t know about the carnivore diet when our son was diagnosed with ADHD (2011), but we had a lot of success with a strict Paleo diet back then. We also chose to home educate. He is a healthy, happy thriving adult working full time.
Really good interview, it must have been very frustrating for cristie knowing all the teaching techniques and applying them but just couldn't get through and all the other different types of therapy she arranged for him but all credit to her for keeping trying and eventually found something that made a change, there seems to be so many kids with adhd obviously there is more ultra processed food around now than ever and I think that is something to do with it ,how many kids would improve if they changed there diet?the thing is most parents are not aware that nutrition can be a factor in this and so unless it gets to become advice from the medical profession there kids will probably grow up taking medication
Dr Danial Amen is an ADD psychiatrist in America, who actually looks at the brain (via SPEC scan) to diagnose what types of ADD are present (which parts of the brain are over or under active). He states how dangerous it is to medicate or treat by guessing and how it also goes against the healthcare "Do No Harm". He treats predominantly with nutrition (usually high protein /fat, pending on which type(s), also some supplements and then holistic health with medication as a last option and minimal. I just bought his book Healing ADD, as im in AUS and no surprise, there arent any psychiatrists here that look at the brain before treating 🙄. Dr Amen has a free online test, though, to help those in other countries outside of US (though maybe two or three other countries now use his SPEC scans also). Anyway... point is a great ADD psychiatrist up there with nutrition ❤
I wonder if this could have similar effect on Dypraxia especially verbal motor Dyspraxia that basically made it very difficult to speak it’s about The transmitter that kind of getting scrambled and The signals to The muscle need to speak is not coordinated correctly and therefore what comes out sound wierd an difficult to understand.😊🤞
hello Dr. Anthony Chaffee, thank you much for your videos about meat. I have some thoughts and experiences I really want to share with you and I also really want to know your thoughts about it. First of all, i am doing carnivore diet right now, but last week suddenly i feel maybe I can eat some little fermented food to increase so called my gut diversity? so I ate little sauerkraut and I especially began to dig something about Natto which is said a so healthy food, and those 3 days I did ate some natto , maybe about 50 g daily, but within 3 days, I do began to feel so constipation and something so uncomfortable in my gut as well. Then I did some dug, i found sometimes it would happen when people had natto, they got cancers or severe allergic to something else, they are recorded too. one thing I feel so strange, i also found in most fermented vege, there is very high histamine. also I found right now it seems tons of articles in NIH database say fermented food is so goood for us, I feel very doubt this based on my own experience, because as long as I began to eat fermented vege, even. a little, I began to have constipation . I really want to know something behind the advocate about fermented vege benefit , is it possible another con which want to cheat us to eat more vegetables and fruits??? I really feel this way right now.
I wish my kid liked more meat based foods. He doesn't like any red meat or eggs. I wouldn't know how to start him on this when he only likes chicken...but not for every meal. he has a sensory issue with foods but i know he would benefit from this way if eating.
I started with no beef at all. Chicken nuggets, I made myself (the recipe is on my channel th-cam.com/video/ZxFwChLbako/w-d-xo.htmlsi=c_3_uJFcUT0CgQwE) and those carnivore pizza pockets were staples. Then I made the pork shoulder in the crockpot and shredded it up with forks at the end. It is very soft, so less texture issues. Later I introduced the chuckroast and picanha. For breakfast instead of eggs, try the carnivore pancakes. You can make then with just eggs and cream cheese if the premiere protein is a bit spendy.
@@MeatingWellness thank you so much! I'll give those a try 🤞 he eats the same food every day so introducing something new for him to try will be....fun
its an interesting time for mental ilness. Recent research shows that Bipolar and Schizophrenia can be put in remission by diet. Now adhd by eating certain foods. Its more too loook forward too.
Thank you 🙏🏻 I have twin 13 year boys both on spectrum ASD one very severe, other mild . I put both on animal based keto ( no veggies )diet more - garbs 50-70 ? For 16 months One son on mild end getting As Bs has 2 new friends and grew 5”5 to 5”9 ! Other boy can concentrate, mostly no tantrums, strange behaviour disappeared? More verbal which helps aggression. I believe our diet -seed oils , Refined grains , pharmaceuticals ie vax caused all this !! Collecting all the evidence and listening to RFK jr coming out . This will explode for all to see
Her son sounds a lot like my son. My wife is a massive carb addict so it is hard to convince him to try switching his diet when his mother will give him all of the sugar he wants. I'm also 47 and recently started sprinting. I hate it but am noticing benefits from it. Maybe someday I'll develop Stockholm Syndrome and start to enjoy it.
Cheesy pull apart lol. 20 years ago when I was in high school we called them cheese yuckies (the school called them cheese yummies lol) such a half a**Ed attempt at a meal!
Wow, that would have made our lives (my wifes and mine) sooo much easier to know about this. Now our children are adult and have still some (sometimes hard) issues with their ADHD. But our son is willing to try carnivore and check out if this will improve his life.
@@MeatingWellness I found the information about carnivore diet a few weeks ago and directly jumped in, to solve my own health issues. Since then I learned so much about it, it's amazing. Now I try to spread that new knowledge into my family, hopefully in an acceptable way. 😅 We'll see how succesful I will be
Check out her channel, she has short stories on him getting better and better within mostly carnivore starting with his first week . He ate carnivore like pizza’s for lunch or snacks and pepperoni and cheese and carnivore sausage for lunches and carnivore pancakes for breakfast and supper would be picanha and now likes chuckroast . Now he’s making better grades and doing all his work and getting ready for school on his own and he cleans his room on his own without asking, so amazing !!!👏👏👏💪🥩🥓🥚🧈💕🙏✝️❤️

Dr. I have colonoscopy next week, while preparing I decided it’s a golden opportunity to start carnivore diet now that my colon will be squeaky clean . Should I start now or after the colonoscopy? I hope I get some advice 😊
As one who was diagnosed with ADHA as an adult, I didn't willfully not do a task and at the right time. I didn't want to disappoint anyone, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't.
I do believe a high fat (carnivore) diet will help my child - it makes so much sense! BUT: My kiddo does not like any meat. I have tried the best steaks, burgers, all the different recipes - all are being rejected! It is exhausting and I feel very guilty all the time bc I was a longterm vegan when pregnant and then when I was nursing. I did not know all of this in her first years of life - so she was getting mashed vegetables and a lot of bread, pasta etc. Now each meal is a fight. Rarely she can get herself to at least try- but she always chokes at the taste of the meat and I know she is not pretending:( it makes me wanna cry every time bc I know her body needs it so badly! What can I do? Parents please help! I can’t let her go to bed hungry. She refuses all the protein under just wants the carbs and I feel powerless having to watch this knowing well how damaging this is
Sugar, including bread, pasta, pizza, etc. are addictive. Good food doesn’t taste as good when it’s in competition with the rest of what’s in the SAD foods. Don’t feel bad if she skips a meal or two. Fasting is okay and maybe can help her appreciate meat when she will get hungry. Not easy when you’ve tasted the bad stuff. Don’t give up. It’s worth everything. Carnivore is the best and a game changer. No snacks. She can eat twice a day that’s enough. Breakfast is a scam. Good luck. You will get there.
We had what was called a TEXAS DONUT 10”-12” across when I was in school. But it was only a couple times a year we could get them. I want to puke just thinking about it now.
This food we r feeding r kids today is poison. I'm so happy that her son is better. I have a 2 yr old grandson and I told his parents he won't get that crap food at my house
Wow, great story! Related, I wonder how much of teenager issues are related to reaching an age where you can easily access/buy and eat all the sugary junk food? Cause I know I went nuts eating that stuff at that age and was a bad kid! 😂
hi Dr Chaffee, I have been a dirty Carnivore for one year now, I eat meat everyday but also eat rice and few peace of fruits and berries sometimes. recently I went for checkup and in the ultrasound they found that my gallbladder had little bile after fasting for 15 hours , is that normal to have little bile before eating? how do I digest fat then? will appreciate your answer thanks
I remember the day camp i went to when i was a child made parents pack a sandwich and they literally checked all of our lunch boxes to see if we had sandwiches.... the poison adults unknowingly put on children is sad
I’m 25 minutes in. Great success story. However, I wish this was more of an interview. I think he’s gotten in 2-3 words in. I see where the kid got it from. The mom has adult ADHD. 😂
Ugh to think. My mom use to be@t the living he|| out of me to get me to listen. Even today I’m over apologizing for everything. I apologize for apologizing lol. Then I got on meds and she was happy but still did her thing. Could have just had her change my diet and maybe I wouldn’t have gotten be@ten.
The described school lunches are horrendous! I would've been pissed if we weren't served meat when I was kid. (Model 1972 & have always loved meat). Thanks for sharing your story. Hopeful that more and more parents with kids will share their stories of how it is helping their children. It is also helpful to hear what accommodations you used to help support your son to make different food choices.
Thanks Christy!
Thank you for sharing your story!
Thank you for your kind words.
Great Video!
Thank you very much!!🙏🏻✨
I’ve listened to this interview three times now including once with my 13 yo daughter. She is starting keto tomorrow similar to how the guest’s son did. We went grocery shopping together today. I have been carnivore for over two months now with great benefit as I am ADHD. Lost 16 lbs and gained lean muscle mass as I am getting stronger in the gym.
Mother’s love is an unconditional love ❤
Great story! Meat freakin’ heals! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Thank you Cristie, I really needed to hear this today:)
I am so glad this helped you!
His health is in his hands now👍🇦🇺❤️🥩
WOAH!!! I Did NOT know that about Bdubs... like I needed an excuse to go there!! Fried in tallow, magnificent!!!
I noticed that having certain foods causes brain inflammation. That frequently results in rage, extreme irritation and inability to process stimuli of any sort. I experienced it firsthand and I am realizing how deadly grains and refined sugars. It is sobering and chilling
Yes, so true!
Thank you and keep it up
Nearly time to get angry about our corrupted food system great vid.
We didn’t know about the carnivore diet when our son was diagnosed with ADHD (2011), but we had a lot of success with a strict Paleo diet back then. We also chose to home educate. He is a healthy, happy thriving adult working full time.
This is why parents are doing home schooling.
Forbidden in Europe nowadays.
Да, много тоталитарных стран, где ребенок принадлежит не родителям, а государству. Слава Богу, что в России и США можно обучать детей дома.
There’s a rapidly growing number of home educators in the UK
. people need to rebel in Europe. That's not ok.
It is allawed in Poland.
We had great success with diet changes along with retained primitive reflex integration therapies (cold laser, vision, occupational, speech).
wow! what an amazing change in the Boy!
You nailed it! This is so true. I definitely did not know how impactful nutrition could be. My son is still doing great, and continuing to improve.
This is a very informative video
Thank you, this is huge!
This is cracking me up, a Pfizer ad just ran during this video. I know Dr Chaffee doesn't get to choose those, just made me giggle.
Brazilian steakhouse would be the best option for a birthday party
Just meat and salt over the fire, as much as you can eat
Public schooling needs massive reform, ADHD has become a normalcy and everyone acts like it’s okay somehow… make it make sense
WOW!!! So cool!
I've had a similar experience with my kid when she eats closer to carnivore
Cute kitty Christie Kiehl 🐈⬛
Thanks, her name is Pixel.
This definitely would have helped my lil bro with his ADHD
Oh my AdHD is still going strong after 6 months of carnivore!!
Add more fat?
I did read someone last time on oyutube. Who the diet did not have effect on thoug
Great interview Cristie, ROAR picanha ROAR!
Yes, picnaha pride! Thanks Eric.
Thank you 🙏🏻
I have twin 13 year boys both on spectrum ASD one very severe, other mild .
I put both on animal based keto ( no veggies )diet more - garbs 50-70 ? For 16 months
One son on mild end getting As Bs has 2 new friends and grew 5”5 to 5”9 !
Other boy can concentrate, mostly no tantrums, strange behaviour disappeared?
More verbal which helps aggression.
I believe our diet -seed oils ,
Refined grains , pharmaceuticals ie vax caused all this !! Collecting all the evidence and listening to RFK jr coming out . This will explode for all to see
That's so great. I just did a social update on my son on my channel. He is starting to hang out with friends tons more than he ever did.
Would be great if there were time stamps. ❤🎉
Cheesy pull apart lol. 20 years ago when I was in high school we called them cheese yuckies (the school called them cheese yummies lol) such a half a**Ed attempt at a meal!
LOL that's funny.
Wow, that would have made our lives (my wifes and mine) sooo much easier to know about this. Now our children are adult and have still some (sometimes hard) issues with their ADHD. But our son is willing to try carnivore and check out if this will improve his life.
I hope carnivore helps your son. I'm so glad I found carnivore, but so wish I'd have known about it years ago when both my boys were little.
@@MeatingWellness I found the information about carnivore diet a few weeks ago and directly jumped in, to solve my own health issues. Since then I learned so much about it, it's amazing. Now I try to spread that new knowledge into my family, hopefully in an acceptable way. 😅 We'll see how succesful I will be
@@Harraldinho I feel the same way! I'm working on my in-laws as gently as I can.
Would love to have a shortened version of her story with suggestions for solutions to the issues she faced. This is just way too long :/
Check out her channel, she has short stories on him getting better and better within mostly carnivore starting with his first week .

Carnivore FTW!
Yes!

hi Dr Chaffee,
I have been a dirty Carnivore for one year now, I eat meat everyday but also eat rice and few peace of fruits and berries sometimes. recently I went for checkup and in the ultrasound they found that my gallbladder had little bile after fasting for 15 hours , is that normal to have little bile before eating? how do I digest fat then? will appreciate your answer
thanks
FDA test nothing ever!

Spread the word for "Meat only Mondays" !!!
Why?
@@megbeller7981 As opposed to those who think that meat is bad. Some places have meatless Monday's supposedly for health and environmental reasons.
Dr. Chaffee - you forgot to give us links to Cristie Kiehl's content.
How can we get ahold of you for questions and concerns and high ldl and weight gaining issues??
Ugh to think. My mom use to be@t the living he|| out of me to get me to listen.
Even today I’m over apologizing for everything. I apologize for apologizing lol.
Then I got on meds and she was happy but still did her thing.
Could have just had her change my diet and maybe I wouldn’t have gotten be@ten.
The described school lunches are horrendous! I would've been pissed if we weren't served meat when I was kid. (Model 1972 & have always loved meat).
This is the 2nd time I've heard this mother's story about her son (1st time with Dave Mac) and this is nothing short of a miracle for him & his family. Congratulations! Go Carnivore!
Thanks Angela!

I wonder, with all the respect, why you never talk about vaccines injuries???? Why????
After our sons first shot, the light switch went off. Criminal..Home education was our only recourse. 1988.
My son is vax injured. Dr C talks like he’s never heard of a vax injury. Would love if he would just hint about it to help parents.
