    This could be useful if you condition your opponent to your Sheild drop nades

    This is a very good mix up tool for if you are In a campy situation. Either way it's a mix up but very dangerous on platform or in a campy situation. Great vid as always my dude !

    I could be wrong here but it seems like you are doing the instant catch the hard way. Finding out that you can just hold B and hit jump/z at the same time really opened up a lot of possibilities for me.
    I’m not sure if it’s faster but the only downside I’ve experienced was that snake will sometimes Nair while doing it

      I'll have to play more with it. I don't do it too often

      PoppinSwiss Adding onto this, you can buffer jump and grab to Z nade instantly. Not sure if it prevents the random aerial from coming out though.

    This video has given me couple of ideas on some set ups with nades, like those MVD set ups. Thanks dude, I'll definitely be using that in my gameplay.
    Another thing you can do with nades is you have a nade in your hand when you shield drop it, you double jump at the ledge and pull another nade and short throw it. Both grenades will drop right next to the ledge. You can then throw out an up smash or nikita to cover roll or any other options. This is great for ledge trapping.

    This is called an instant catch, I like to set a face button to grab (I use Y to jump and have grab on Z and X) can make it easier to zdrop into instant aerial catch as well by sliding from x to a or do the same with z and c stick depending on whether I'm using the A button or stick for the aerial.

    You could z nade and instantly throw it with c stick
    I have ZR as Shield, R as Jump, L as grab (im on pro but this is viable on gc as well)
    I shield, and then press ZR, R, L in sequence. To throw, just do that and then flick the c stick in any direction. Super fast throwing
    Edit: Grenade -> Shield -> Jump -> A
    This also catches without using an aerial, just an alternate button combo if you dont wanna press grab for whatever reason lolz
    Edit 2: Kinda tough, but instead of just catching nade, you could catch it with an aerial. Grenade -> Shield -> Jump -> Direction you want your aerial + A
    Super tight, but pretty useful

    I've always seen z-nade as a future tech to help with snake's harder matchups. I wish we still had self stick c4, but whatever.

      I also find it disappointing how I don't see snake mains applying this to the character except MVD.

    How do I get a grenade and change direction like that 9:03?

    • @PoppinSwiss
      @PoppinSwiss  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      as soon as you press the B button to pull out the grenade you want to move the joystick in the opposite direction Snake is facing. This is called a B-reverse. hope this helps!

      @@PoppinSwiss oh, I thought it was throwing the controller sticky in the opposite direction you're moving in. Maybe I should try it out more.
