    We have a busted shower, car, and fridge...thank you for saving me a repair call. Bought the part from you and fixed it myself.

    Awesome, helped me replace my valve and understand the extra part I didn't know what to do with. Thanks!!!!!

      Exactly why I'm here. I'm confident I ordered the right part but what I got seemed to have this extra section, which I now know is a flow meter, which my fridge doesn't have.
      Et voila!
      Thanks!

    My water line comes out verry easy and when I put the new valve in it leaked I pit the clip on and the line comes out easy still so I put teflon tape on the line and taped it on the valve to hold it on tight and no more leak

    I did this perfectly, however now my water comes out at random times from the dispenser on its own. Any idea as to why this happens?

    Can I bypass my flow meter? Mine was leaking so I removed it and just used the water valve part.

    twice now, new filters, after like 1 or 2 months, no water comes out, but ice gets water... last time, replaced filter. this time debating the water valve assembly ?? fridge is from like 2005.. (when water stopped, I would remove and reinstall the filter, it would pressure up, but not dispense... and make a mess removing... ) i have a inlet valve here as well as new filters... any thoughts ?? fridge is recessed, so have to slide it out on the wood floors

      You will need to test for power at the water valve when you push the button to call for water. If you have power at the valve and it is not allowing water into the unit then the valve will need to be replaced. If water is coming in then you can remove the filter and see if that corrects the water flow issue. If it does there is an issue with the filter. If it's a new filter then you could have an issue with the filter housing, so that would need to be replaced.

      @@appliancepartspros with the filter not letting water through, it took like overnight for water to return, but ice still could be made... then it works with no filter, last 2 waterdrop filters did the same after like 45 days... used them for years with no issue..

      @JoelSc14 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@appliancepartspros if working now with no filter, would you toss in a new filter and see what happens... install the filter that was in that it quit dispensing water, then test the valve and replace if needed ?? from the backside, is that where the filter tubes are as well ?? so it would have to be slid out for that as well... seems that part is not available... any thoughts would be great,... (just not sure the probability of 2 wonky filters, but anything is possible... i have 2 more new ones here and the complete water valve on hand..

    If the water is going to the door water water dispenser but no water to the ice maker is it for sure the "Water Inlet Valve" that is bad?

    • @appliancepartspros
      @appliancepartspros  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the water is still dispensing, then it doesn't sound like the inlet valve is the problem. You can give us a call at 1-877-477-7278 or you can chat us at our website: www.appliancepartspros.com/ and we'll be glad to help figure it out with you.

    I have a Samsung with the bottom freezer and french doors. I don't know where my water vale is located. I pulled the frig from the wall to replace it and its not in the back bottom right. can you tell me where it's at?

    • @appliancepartspros
      @appliancepartspros  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not know if all of them are the same. You should be able to follow the water supply line to it. You can also go to our website and enter your appliance model number to view the parts breakdowns to see where it is located and to be sure you get the correct part for your model. www.appliancepartspros.com/

      Hey, I have the same issue. My French door Samsung was missing the water valve and hoses in the back. My father has same unit, came with the water valve assembly....
      Did you ever figure yours out? I know where to get the valve assembly but I still don't know how to hook up the water hoses, because I have none on the back of my fridge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I installed the new valve, no flow. Took things apart again and what can best be described as grey snot came out of the new inlet module.
    Is there a way to trouble shoot the unit itself?
