I have a question did you use these two mods with the ie stage 1 tune and if you did, how well did they work together?
I’m a new Audi A4 owner just bought it 1 week ago and was searching up mod for 2015 A4 b8 your the only guy that came up and I’m looking forward to seeing your build and learning more about the car and modifying it like yours
Congrats on the A4. Yeah, there’s actually a lot of content out there but they are all over the place with pretty crap quality or poor instructions with a lot of fluff and BS. If you watch my past videos, my stuff is pretty straight forward and easy to follow. So definitely stay tuned and enjoy modding with me!
Flexx Alexander yeah glad I found this channel your straight up get to the point and make it easy for me to follow along looking forward to your journey with TH-cam and the car mods
Flexx Alexander also is it considered a b8 or b8.5 I don’t understand the difference yet 😂 mine is a A4 premiere plus SLine as well
in the US, the A4 bodystyle from 2008-2016 is the same. They "facelift" the car in 2013 with new front and new back end and some other minor things. That's why the "facelift" is called a B8.5...since it can't be called a B9 because it's not completely brand new redesigned..it's just a facelift. Mine is a 2015 so it's a B8.5,
And the Premium Plus means it's the mid-range accessory package. The basic is called Premium. And the version with all the options, is the Prestige package. Our premium plus is right in the middle.
The S-Line means our A4 gets the front bumper, door blades, and rear bumper similar to an Audi S4. If you search a non-S line from a S-line, you'll notice the difference in bumper, sides and rear.
Flexx Alexander thanks 🙏🏽 I was telling my friends it’s a b8.5 when they kept saying it’s a b8 thank you 🙏🏽
Pretty neat little device that changes throttle response. Makes me think that's all the optional dynamic modes equipped on stock cars now really is. Great vid
i’m glad i found this channel, we have the exact same car except mines in misano red
I’m jealous. Too be honest, I would of been happy with any other color instead of grey but I got a really good deal on this car.
Flexx Alexander what’s funny is i was actually looking for grey when i bought mine, but i got a crazy deal on the red
hey man i was wondering what websites u used to find deals like ehat
Really enjoying the Audi content!! 🏎
The car is looking sooo good I can’t wait to see what wheels you go with
New to car mods, but always hated that lazy acceleration you get when going from a stop! This is something im definitely gonna get done
Cuh i thought it was juss my car and sum was wrong with it💀
Ya boi naresh Hookin it up again, such a nice man👍🏻 also, is that cf steering wheel real or cover?
Great one again Flexx.
Thanks. Easy install and definitely helped the car...big time.
Maaan... your car looks nice! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Will this change the pressure in the fuel pumps
Flex have you tried driving the audi in sport yet?
That pedal tune looks real good I always thought the throttle response on them a4s was lazy compared to other Audi's like A3 2.0t definitely will be looking into it 👍🏾
I use mine everyday while in sport (s) mode just so the car can drive right and I’m able to pass cars and safely merge.
Hi Flex. Some Audi B8.5s come with either DSG or CVT gearbox. Is the tune and throttle control only for CVT or DSG or both? Kind regards, Yusuf
Hey bro. Love you videos. Question? Are you familiar with PedalBox throttle mapping? And how would you install it on a C8 A6. The clip right by the gas pedal seams too small. I’m wondering if there’s another clip. Thanks.
That’s nice that the pedal plug isn’t right on the pedal like the Benz. Cleaner install and I feel like it doesn’t get in the way as much
Yeah. Definitely cleaner for sure.
You should do a POV of the a4
I have an audi a4 2013 2.0t and its got lag so when im stopped at lights it takes about 2 seconds to actually kick in and then takes off will this fix my problem
It probably will fix it but your car might have other issues. Lag is usually throttle issue or fuel pump issue.
Once you start moving, then lag is usually just a turbo response issue.
Its a brand new car from the dealership 30ks im first owner took it to vtnz no problems everything checked out turbo lag they said common with these cars they actually recommended getting a throttle controller and c if it helps will update when done
I have the same issue in my 2014. Took it to dealer and they said that's the way it is. I want it better
@@lizards7777is yours fwd?
I have the same issue with my a4 B8 2010 1.8t. I’m guessing that’s just the way it is.
I have a 14 A4. Thinking about buying the t box. Put a CTS intake on her last week. Being the video came out a while ago, do you still believe the tuning chip is worth it?
Does this work with a six speed
Is the number for the WhatsApp messaging joint correct? I think there are too many digits. I’m very interested, and I’ve been having the same functionality with my A4.
It’s correct. I just went on another drive and switched it off and then back to sport and race, it’s such a huge difference. The throttle response is better...not 100% great but the cars power just kicks in so much quicker. It’s night and day. And the shifts are buttery smooth.
How does the Audi compare to the c300 before and after these mods?
ehhh..cant compare. They are both still very different cars with different power delivery and throttle response.
Hi bro, great video!
Just wondering, Can the transmission tune be applied to manual transmissions too? Thanks in advance !
No
Would it work with an 2007 Audi A6
Get the pedal control the one you had on your other car that one work I have
So basically what this is doing is moving the 100% throttle up to like the 50% spot? I know it has a dead range around 15% pedal position stock. So stock it has a 85% pedal movement theoretically, this is making it around a 50% full pedal movement thus making the car feel faster when the pedals only 50% pushed in its actually 100%
No. That’s not how it works. Throttle response and how much throttle you give are 2 different things.
Moving up throttle range doesn’t mean the response is faster.
i see that carbon wheel will you be doing a video on that soon?
It’s just a cover until I can find a flat bottom wheel with paddles.
Hey Flexx idk if you’ll have the answer to my question but I’m planning to install a Atmospheric Diverter Valve Spacer and a turbo muffler delete would you know if by adding the accessories in your video would it harm my car?
No it will not. I done it to my car
Hey Flexx great content I just got an a4 b8.5 so will be doing alot of similar mods to yours. Does the pedal tuner void any sort of warranty or cause more wear and tear on the car? Also I contacted tornado and he mentioned I would need an 0BD2 scanner? Any idea how to use this thing? LOL
Shouldn’t cause any wear and tear. Warranty...I don’t know. That’s up to your warranty provider to tell you what voids or not. Most warranties don’t want you installing anything aftermarket to your car. Which is understandable because they don’t wanna have to repair your car free of charge if you slap on something that messes up the car and that’s out of their control.
It’s not a must to have an OBD2 reader. It’s good to have to check the health of your car before doing any mods. I say that because a lot of people have hidden issues with their cars that might not be bad enough to throw a check engine light. When then they install a mod and then blame the mod for their issue but really it could have been something already wrong with the car to begin with. You’d be surprised how many cars have hidden faults stored on the cars ECU that don’t throw a check engine light.
I always scan my car for issues before doing any mods. This way if I truly get an issue, I can pinpoint it to the mod.
@@TheFlexxGarage Appreciate the feedback and will continue to watch your a4 progress! Really looking forward to see what kinda wheels you get for your b8.5 !!
Where can i buy the T-Box TCU Tune? And is it increasing the torque limit and clutch pressure?
At mentioned in the video, look in the video description.
Hi flexx, so i just bought a 2016 audi A4 sport and my question is how do i know what B. series i have?
If your a4 has the same style headlights like mine…than it’s a b8 facelift (or b8.5).
So u think it make quick like from 0 to 60 is there any difference than normal car
It can but not much. But if you need to experience it, you’ll notice a huge difference in the way the car drives…throttle is immediate. Probably 1 of my top mods for a car asap.
@@TheFlexxGarage Did your transmission shift faster than it did before after installing the t-box?
How is the pedal tuner and tcu tune holding up so far??
fine. why wouldn't they hold up. I use the tune everyday.
So this like drive select button on newer audi’s.
Kind of.
Drive select does way more. In different modes, it increases throttle response and it is allows the car to auto shift at higher rpms.
To mimic that using this pedal tune, you put it on highest intensity and then you put the transmission of the car into “S” instead of “D”. The S mode will tell the car to shift at higher rpms, while the pedal tune increases throttle response.
Hey man so I was wondering if I got this pedal tune would it interfere with any other tune I have on the car? For example I have the IE stage 1 and I don’t want to take a chance and mess it up
Hahah. Dude, I had the IE tune stage 1 and the pedal tune running.
when will you do a LED turbine air vent video for the C300?
Few weeks
@@TheFlexxGarage looking forward to it
What does the TCU tune/flash do?
as mentioned in the video, it tunes the transmission for smoother faster shifts.
Yoo flexx i just copped a 2016 A7 shit is a straight beast! i want to pull the trigger on a APR tune but im afraid that it might effect my warranty ?
Congrats! I’m not familiar with APR’s tune but almost any tune to your car, if you take your car in for warranty work and they catch a tune on your car...high probability you’re not covered. No car company wants to pay outta their pocket to repair a car that has aftermarket stuff installed. Especially if the aftermarket stuff could be the cause of issues for warranty work. That’s up to your warranty provider to decide if you are covered or not. That’s why it’s always good to get a reversible tune.
I just got my R8 and bought a 3 year extended warranty on it. It strictly says no mods allowed to the ECU. So I’m not even gonna risk it tuning the car. The stock 430hp is enough for me when I’m not even racing. But that’s just me with my R8.
On my less expensive cars like my Benz and A4, I could care less about warranties. I bought the cars to enjoy and I’ll mod the crap outta them and just deal with the warranty work (if any) when the time comes. Most of my stuff I reversible.
hey man not sure where you are located but i have an ie stage 2 b8 a4, if youre in the new england area by any chance, I would love to make a collaboration video with you... let me know m8
Your ig? I have a b8.5
Do you need the transmission tune? Or can I do pedal tune without it?
no. its an option
Can I get this for my 2009 A4 2.0T???
It should work. Go to the link in the description.
You been juicing fam? Shoulder looking huge haha 🔥
More like I’ve been “burger-ing”. Doc says I need to lose 15lbs.
But there's a sport mode when you downshift from drive... How is this any different?
Sport mode on most cars DOES NOT increase throttle response. Most of the time, throttle response remains the same but S mode just allows the car to have a higher shift point at a higher rpm versus shifting at lower rpms to save fuel. This is to simulate having a true manual where you would shift at high rpms when flooring the car.
With the pedal tune, now I can have my regular D mode be super responsive when regular driving. And I can also have fast throttle response in S mode as well, if I feel like flooring the crap outta my car. And I can turn off the pedal tune anytime I want too. It’s worth it and changes my A4 in both D and S mode.
I wish everyone can experience it. It’s really a night and day mod. If there’s 1 mod someone could do to their car that has the most impact at low cost, it would be a pedal tune.
Flexx Alexander hey man how exactly do I contact them and what price range should I be expecting
Send them an email. As mentioned in the video, their contact info is in the video description.
How’s this any different than using Audi drive select?
@@seananderson4746putting the car in sport will allow the car to rev up higher before the car upshifts. The throttle controller should help the car start to rev up almost instantly as there is no more pedal lag.
Just put a S4 badge on the car and call it a day😂
no. It’s ain’t an S4.
Please is there one of these for Mercedes C200
Of course. I made a 2 videos for Mercedes c-class. If you are interested just contact tornado tuning using the info in the description. They can set you up.
I will buzz them now
Please send me the link of the two videos...i would appreciate that. Thanks Flexx
just search "Flexx Pedal Tune" on youtube.
Do you have a birth mark? Or why do you wear the sleeve on your left arm? Noticed it in a few videos.
Hahaha. If it’s a birthmark, I’d show it off. I’m not ashamed. I answered the sleeve question a few times to comments but you’ll find out in one of my upcoming R8 vlogs.
@@TheFlexxGarage dude, it’s nothing I’m pointing out to raise shame, pure curiosity lol I grew up hanging about with a guy who used to wear a similar but white bandage type thing and again, my curiosity got the better of me. If you have a birth mark and expose it to uv/sunlight it grows and gets worse. The things we learn. My mind gets me into trouble sometimes... why? Lol but regardless I didn’t see a single teardrop tattoo so I’m just curious now are you with the jets or sharks? 🤔
Hahaha. I played the leader of the jets in a musical play back in high school like 20 years ago. It’s nothing crazy but you’ll find out soon.
@@TheFlexxGarage fucking joking? You shot the shark? Lol watched it a million times as a kid, seen it live on stage with school and still fucking jumped with the bang! Even the actor laughed at the audience gasping lol you’re a good sport lad, virtual fist bump to you 👊
Yup. I was huge into musicals as a kid but parents wanted me to do more sports to round out my resume for college. The sad part was my lil sister played Maria. How awkward was that for me cause I had to kick the sharks ass.
He should wrap the car black
Black is whack...played out. I have something else in mind. You just gotta stay tuned.
Flexx Alexander cant wait 😁
Where’s the link
As mentioned in the video, you need to contact tornado tuning if you want more info on the product.
Why is the petal tune so expensive
Flexx Alexander $300 for a petal tune
@@Bikosiolii It's $175+shipping.
Did you even reach out the Tornado Tuning to ask? Don't go by reseller pricing online through a search. Go to the source as I mentioned in my video and video description.

Your car is not a S Line or a B8.5 yours is just. B8 gen 2
Doesn’t have the 7 speed DSG, nor does yours have the 165kw motor… so not relevant
Hahaha…Do an easy google search would tell you b8.5 is the term aftermarket companies use to call my facelift b8. And there’s an S-line package on the turbo 4 A4 with s4 front bumper, fog lights, side skirts and s-line badging. The term “S-line” is not “S4”. Keep studying bro. You have a lot to learn before typing wrong stuff online like you’re right.
You clearly do not know anything about Audis smh stop talking 😂
You need 6speed manual way better Auto is boring 😴
If the car doesn’t have more than 400 horsepower, then I’m not bothering with a manual. Especially when I daily drive the car and it’s not a track car. A manual would be a burden in traffic and it comes with more maintenance/parts to replace. And my wife can’t drive the car. So yeah, having an auto doesn’t make it boring. It’s called being smart for my needs.
@@TheFlexxGarage you’re correct . Flex you’ve given me great advice for my 2009 a4 2.0t and I specifically both the b8 because I wanted a nice daily . I have a manual car Also that I drive once a week and it’s a turbo coupe that I have tuned at 24 psi and make mid 3’s but if I wanted to drive it everyday it’d suck in traffic . I love the a4 for a daily
I have a 4.2 will this work for my Audi S5
