      Its so fucking stupid that they banned the filming. If their content would be as good as eddies i would whatch it a 100% but its not eddies fault that the cant film on an entertaining way. They should allow other people espesally eddi who has been there. It brings other people to the sport and has litterly 0 negativ effects on them. But theyre not the first to learn that.

I don't know what it would take to make this possible but these two together, one American, one Brit, with the knowledge and passion they have would take strongman mainstream. @PilotPhteven 3 ปีที่แล้ว +67

      Exactly..... The audience for WSM is there for sure... but for some reason WSM isn't doing a lot to actually try and reach quite a large part of that audience...
      kinda ridiculous that Eddie hall and Brian Shaw get more views on WSM videos than WSN ever gets on their own channel. And both are doing (and have done) so much to put WSM on the map. And now Eddie isn't even allowed to show it this year? While most of his videos hitting 200-250k views in only a day or 2.. and the WSM channel can barely get 600-700 views on most of their videos..
      So many events are already being put on TH-cam as live events. Get some good commentators. Interact with the audience, get some "super-chat" donations. And embrace the types of media where a large part of your audience is.. Or even pay-per-view.
      Yes, some people will watch it for free.. so be it.. creating a fanbase and interacting with your audience is far more important, and many companies and events realise that..

      People have said that it would be too boring. You'd be watching 99% of people setting up the events, moving things into place, warming up, walking around and wating, etc and the other 1% would be people lifting. It's kind of like when Zak Bagans from Ghost Adventures did a livestream. It totally failed because that show works well in a post-production format with editing and effects, and fails in a live format.

    Honestly so proud of Tom, he really has set his goals high and achieved them with the help and training of his brother Luke, really big respect for them two seriously, and Luke man if did just a few things differently he would of also been standing on the podium too, maybe next year who knows.

    I think with time every Strongman competitor and fan will come to see that they are all really standing on Brian's shoulders. I think the competitors already know it, and the respect they have for him is huge. He has changed Strongman for the better, and has shown that it can be a living/career. He's still a world class competitor, and is as much a part of the future of Strongman today than he's ever been.

    I watch all the time, but this video was excellent, really really good short behind the scenes look at the competition, and the different perspective from Eddie on the camera, with Brian, and because we also have the fact we/the world have another British 🇬🇧 Worlds' Strongest Man 2021 winner in Tom Stoltman, and with Luke doing so well and only really losing it at the final event, made this one of the Best I've seen on this channel, hell, best on TH-cam.
    Make more with Brian, because the chemistry is brilliant between the two, like two big kids, brothers, with Eddie as the, let's just say Brian as the older more conservative brother, keeping young Eddie out of trouble, but good clean fun trouble.

      Statically, yes. Strength is a subjective term however. Thor 2018 winning Arnold's, Europe's and wsm in same year is quite something. Being the best strongman and being the strongest could be argued for ages. Olympic weightlifting champ, ipf powerlifting champ, Arnold's winner, wsm winner all have valid claims to be deemed the strongest

    • @MrOasis316
      @MrOasis316 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

It’s not even the same lift for the two of them. Eddie was the better presser, squarer, and deadlifter by a lot all at the same time. When Thor beat his deadlift he had to specialize in it and came in third at the previous wsm.
