Thank you so much for these videos Leon, thanks to you the Mark IV became my favorite and most used model on the axe III. Kind of a counter intuitive amp at least from what I am used to. Well worth to learn how to dial them in properly.
Another great demo. The delay settings sound really good. Thanks for sharing the presets. BTW, I notice that you play everything with a loose wrist and with rhythm. That makes it.
I put my gain at like 4.25 with my tosin fishmans, because I found any higher than that it would get out of control. My OEQ was about the same. I think I like JP's IIC more than the IIC++; it feels more usable and controlled.
Hey Leon, sounds great. I was wondering, as someone who has never used an AxeFx, does it have something like a 'sandbox amp', where you have all the controls/ tweaks etc at your disposal and basically craft your own amp? If so, would that be viable as a future vid? Kind of like dialing in a Leon Signature? Id be curious to see that. Cheers man!
Martin Tomášik Cliff had to start having Axe-FX III exclusive amps at some point. The Axe-FX II was released in Sept 2011 & has had countless updates over all those years. It’s time to sell that II & get a III 😎
@@rastadarrin I totally understand and I am even extremely grateful that Cliff made the updates possible for such a long time, even now, trying to get the at least some of the feel of the III into the II version. Just mentioned that as JP is my all time favourite guitar player. Definitely I am not going to buy the III version, I bought the II some years ago, when the axe fx hype was extreme, but not this time :) Axe Fx is a great unit, with superb effects that I am gonna be using all the time but the dynamics of my mesa quad preamp has not been reached at all, tubes gonna be tubes, but to each his / her own ;)

Still inspirational and one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing, Leon.

Rhythm is 90% of any song anyway
Leon Todd So true.

You can change the deep parameters of any amp you like - put a Dumble tonestack in a Marshall, add a variac to a mesa, change the tubes etc
nice tone leon!!! can you tell me about multidelay settings?
I'll do a tutorial on it
Oh... Great!!!🔝
if only the last update for axe fx II included also this amp. I would exchange at least those 200+ amp models that I am not using for this one :D
