However you havent proven that it would be impossible for tech to match human consciousness in a 100 or 200 years from now. If consciousness is simply an emergent property of the neural network's signal patterns in the brain, achieving it artificially is quite possible and mainly limited by that: a lot of our relevant tech is still in its infancy stage. B. If consciousness is God given and lies in some nonmaterialistic soul. Then that is a missing element that we wouldnt be able to produce. And it proves your point.
