Speak like a leader: a Masterclass with Shakespeare
After 25 years of public speaking, I've developed 3 rules that I swear by. In this video, I’ll share them with you and show you why Shakespeare-yes, that Shakespeare-can teach us all a thing or two about captivating an audience.
Together, we’ll dive into the Mark Antony speech, break it down, and uncover the timeless lessons it holds for anyone looking to improve their communication skills. If business and career success matter to you, it’s time to level up your public speaking.

I review the book "Ornament of the World" by Maria Rosa Menocal, where she describes life in Al Andalusia, in Medical Spain, under the Umayyad Dynasty. She describes the immense wealth of Al Andalusia, its dazzling architecture, its world-class universities, ...

in fact there has never been hatred between them. There have been alliances between them against other isms. Like for instance the first Arab Empire stretched from Portugal to Pakistan, it held 60% of the christians in the world. No documentation of inter-faith conflicts. Next, Ottoman Empire, both jews and chrsitians under the Khalifate. Never an incident for almost 500 years. In India Mughal Muslim Empire didnt touch the hindus, part of the reason why they are majority in India. BUT... it seems like coexistance only can happen when Muslims are in charge. Because muslims are the "grown ups" in the world with propper moral and ethics and social antennas. Even if you look in Europe, the country most famous for religious harmony, is Albania, yet another majority muslim country, and the only one in europe. Whilst Islam has pure and fair methods of coexsitance and treatement of the non-muslims, others policies has been the complete eradication of the other faith.. Like Spain when they banished the muslims and the jews or in Greece where they banished their muslims or Russia that banished the jews and did the pogroms...European colonies too, acted with extreme supression and violence towards any other faith than christianity. And today, these people are the ones to say "its so hard to coexist " and "religion is the root of violence" etc.. its because they are projecting theyr own methods. I assume you live in a western country if you still have these questions that are easily answerable by history.
@@TimEminent provocative! Is like to do more research on this.
This is a lie There is only one that called people of the book And that is the israel
@@RobertoPunzalan-o1v I’m not sure what you are referring to as a lie. Nor what you mean by “the one that called the people of the book”. Please explain properly.
umm reason is simple every one wants to or thinks they are superior than the latter

True. Any last trace of racism is just top-down, fomented by the ruling class to divide us. But we the people are united Against their false narrative.🙏
Very insightful
Without lies, Islam dies
You blame western media? Really? Aljazeera is the most Islamist propaganda machine
Once islam is gone tolerance is possible
Love history but as long as its true... Peace in the world ❤There are so many good people of all faiths or no faith... Do not let the bad people make us hate each other...
@@esterherschkovich6499 thanks I’m with you there. Unfortunately there will always be those who are in denial that a pre-modern civilisation could produce a society that was far more enlightened, no matter the facts presented.
If there were any, who were capable of advocating the value of human culture or the reason for consciousness in the treatment of fellow humanbeings, It would likely be those that walk the paths of faith. Seeking common ground in support of Co existences and the basic dignities that accompany life...
Having a tolerant society can only happen while one group dominates the other and then treated them with justice. A pluralistic society cannot exist. Andalus was a great time, but is far from what we describe as our golden age... our golden ge is the time of Nabi SAW and the khulafa rashidoon.
@@zubairismail1048 it doesn’t matter who rules, as long as it’s done with justice, which is severely lacking today. The Muslim rulers in Al Andalus didn’t do anything particularly remarkable; they simply emulated that other Golden Age, the time of the Prophet (S). His teachings and ways are there for anyone to implement.
@BilalKat it is all about who rules, the earth belongs to Allah and His rule has to be established, Islamic economy, Islamic social laws, Islamic criminal laws etc. The Quran has taken us on a journey of how the jews and Christians who were tasked with establishing Allah's authority betrayed their duty, hence became disbelievers. Allah established that Islam is the only acceptable deen on earth, Allah established that the Jews and Christians be fought against until they pay jizya and have submitted rulership to the Muslims. These are critical concepts that Muslims have lost due to 100 years of secular education dominating us and unislamic norms being made normal. Secularism seeks to make all religions at 1 level, while Islam is dominant and the only acceptable deen by Allah. We should pursuit success firstly from a spiritual perspective and not only from a meterial perspective. Humanism, pluralism and similar ideals are antithetical to Islamic ideals.

Thank you Uncle for the video, I agree with the point that you made and have also felt the consequence of being too empathetic at the cost of my own self. I should have been clear with my boundaries at the same time. I was just contemplating, could the amount you are willing to give for the sake of others be dependant on the level of yaqeen the person has, for example, when Abu Bakr (RA) gave up all his possessions before the Hijri and also Hazrat Aisha (RA) who gave the food she had to break her fast with to the poor but was soon gifted a goat by someone else?
@@AwaisMahmood57 it’s important to set boundaries and have personal limits. Allah cautions the Prophet (S) in Surah Kahf that he might end up destroying himself out of sadness that the people are not believing. Clearly, Allah is asking the Prophet to set boundaries and limits. With regard to stories of the personal sacrifices of the companions, I think they are great for inspiration, but not necessarily emulation. We will NEVER be on the level of Abu Bakr, Ayesha or any of the other Sahaba , nor can we understand their levels of Imaan, Taqwa and Yaqeen.
Seems like people will believe science as long as it doesn't cost them money or go against their plans, Then it's fake news and conspiracy.
It will but currently no give it 100 years providing the liberals stop ruining its learning, and stays neutral
The 'quantum' aspect is soul or atma (hindi) which can never be replicated through material means as it is non-material.
It just needs to believe it’s conscious, like a human for the singularity to initiate
No but yes in a way
There’s no absolute way to define consciousness
U should study more about agi an asi then u will find what ai really mean is
@@tripper_702 thanks! I’m actually reading an excellent book currently, by two Princeton computer scientists, entitled “AI Snake Oil” which not just explains these concepts, but separates the actual from the hype.

Your proofs simply point towards the shortcomings of new technologies, which only shows that we cant achieve consciousness with the tech we have today. However you havent proven that it would be impossible for tech to match human consciousness in a 100 or 200 years from now. If you want to prove your conclusion, youd have to go after consciousness more fundamentally. A. If consciousness is simply an emergent property of the neural network's signal patterns in the brain, achieving it artificially is quite possible and mainly limited by that: a lot of our relevant tech is still in its infancy stage. B. If consciousness is God given and lies in some nonmaterialistic soul. Then that is a missing element that we wouldnt be able to produce. And it proves your point.

The uncertainty abt career choices is true.. Took me for years to figure out wat I want to do, leaving school is scary especially wen coming from one of the poorer communities with some unemployed degree holders, so u don't see studying as a option.. Worked piece jobs and at McDonald's, i then met a self-taught Java developer in a 2023 X5M at the drive through and i questioned him, a nice guy took my number and recommended me bootcamps that offer "income share agreements" that are partnered with agencies i did that and applied for web dev as I enjoyed html in school, fell inlove with the ability to create something from nothing but a idea or thought.. I came across You on tiktok and was intrigued by ur message and love the ideas u have especially the idea on making the country millions..
Islam is the biggest fallacy when it comes to belief and religion. Who will make this dumb guy understand that
Not a fallacy, just an ideal expected course of events.
