I like that front panel material. You see that you know it’s an Aer pack. I have no issues with that kind of branding. This is a decent tech pack, nice organization 👌🏾
The Aer Tech pack is the one I decided to get, and I have no regrets about my decision. It holds A LOT of tech gear, including my 16" MacBook Pro (but I think I might have the older version of the pack) and my 12.9" iPad Pro along with all of my gadgets and dongles. I think the coated nylon gives it a "futuristic" look and will help keep your front panel items dry if you ever get caught in a rain storm. Thanks for this great review, George! Namaste.
I love when people actually have the pack write comments. So they can provide thier feedback.. Sherri I think it's a great pack too.. I would love to see them make two sizes in this pack too. 17L and a 25L that would be sweet.. Be Safe ✌🏾
Thanks for this in-depth review!!! Literally, no one says how big a water bottle fits in the pocket. Super glad to hear it can fit a 40oz flask easily. :) + showing the first tech pack for comparison in photos.
I had the V1 of this pack and regret parting with it. I think the most missed feature from having this bag is that it stands up by itself nearly always. The quality was amazing, and the organisation great but found it a little tight when I went full on tech nerd with laptop + iPad or Surface Pro 4 with the XM3s, tech pouch and a coat. If you are okay with the front, honestly can't go wrong with this bag.
Great review and agree completely. The bag is great and the only reason I haven't bought one is because of that shiny black exterior. Gives off trash bag vibes. Maybe they'll drop this bag in X-Pac like they did some of their others last year.
Thank you George for the review. Really helpful. I still cannot decide Techpack or Daypack. The thing is I travel much but mostly i need to carry my macbook air and ipad in it. But next month I’ll need to add my work laptop MBP and take them all with me on a long long flight journey… Then I’ll leave my personal laptop there and carry one laptop+ipad… (off course chargers, notebooks phone etc.. ) I dont know , I m really confused.. Which do you advice me to buy ?
Good video. I carry Aer Tech V1 as my EDC as well as the Peak Design Tech Pouch. Amazing products both holding up well after 3 years on the Aer. I love it. Been trying to find another bag to use, a briefcase messenger type but can't find anything better. Any suggestions?
This is a silly question…where else have I heard that intro music? I’ve searched every channel I could think of but I haven’t found it. It’s definitely used somewhere else, right?
If it had one clamshell opening section, it would be dope. I don't use my outside water bottle pouches so, if they removed them from this bag, wouldn't bother me. You took me on a throwback tour when you pulled out the old school marble notebook. Thanks for sharing. One.
Great video, George. You did a nice job of laying out the pluses and minuses. For me, that front panel is a deal-breaker. I get that they wanted to dress the bag up but I agree with you -- I think they missed the mark. That material just looks cheap and cheezy. I can't imagine ever wanting to carry a bag that looks like that . . . and this is coming from a dude who owns a (now-retired) Tumi!
Thanks for detail review. You are on the same boat, I do not like the front shinny look. I wish, AER uses 1640D for the front and it would be an awesome backpack. I am still thinking to buy this backpack because of the front look.
@@GeorgeDEFINED Exchanged my Filson due to middle compartment zipper is hard to unzip, with AER Tech Pack 2. I received it today, the front is not that bad looking and less shiny than Eddie Murphy Raw😊 I like the compartments more organization than the Filson. The back is hard, hopefully, it will break-in after a few days.
Man you need the electricians toolbox from harbor freight for your edc shit. It's a big wooden box with small felt lined drawers. It's like a jewelry box for men. Its dope as shit
the sorting box at the start makes only sense for beginning gear nerds. it is useless once the amount of stuff you don´t use becomes bigger. you will see. i tried it. sweet channel.
Not my type of pack but a good video and review, * always like and always comment on your favourite TH-cam channel makers. This guys my no1 go to. If you don't like a product or a review , say so in peoples comments but don't down vote the video, your like is the person, the channel , the style etc. If you don't agree with the review or hate the item discuss it but like it
Thanks D24.. I'm not sure people realize how much I love to talking about gear... I try to read all the comments and now the wife is starting to reading them too. Lol I got something special coming at the end of the week.. Be safe ✌🏾
@@GeorgeDEFINED Hi Mrs GD! Can't wait to see your videos ,I cant afford patron but I really hope the channel brings you guys some income you really deserve it , such good content and such nice folk
You need to check out UTACTIC Alpha EDC bag. Its a kind of new Ukrainian brand. They got some cool packs. You can find them on Facebook and Instagram. Great review man! Peace
The price kills this bag. You can get the travel pack 2 small for $10 less and get similar organization with 11 more liters of space or pay only $20 more for the Travel Pack 2 which can compress when not traveling. Considering that this pack is only slightly larger with one extra compartment from the Day Pack 2, $70 more is hard to swallow.
I agree, love the backpack but god dam that front is ugly as hell. For $210 - Not worth for me if it looks like that. I'd rather get the Peak Design Everyday Backpack.
Great review George and I loved the intro in the beginning. Great organization when it comes to your edc type items and such
I like it.. I thought about this after the review. What if it came in two sizes 17L and like 25L? I think that would be awesome. Be Safe Jordan ✌🏾

Been looking for an in depth video over this bag. Amazing editing and very thorough, thanks.
Man, loving all the organization you have going on!
Thanks for watching..
That RAW reference was on point!!! FYI the 16” laptop is directly referencing the MacBook Pro...

Best review I've seen! Dig your style, man. Good work.
I appreciate you reviewing this bag! I'm definitely going to get one.
Eddie Murphy Raw reference 😂
I'm using the v1 , got it cheap and loving the organisation inside. Lucky for me it fits my gym stuff, just barely.
Excellent and honest review. 💯 subscribed

XPAC would be cool too Caleb.. Be safe ✌🏾
This company is pretty awesome, I picked up their slim pouch. It's really durable and perfect for my edc
Nice video! My favorite AER backpack is the AER Day Backpack. I agree with you on about the gripes on the front cover of the Tech bag.
Thanks for watching Ronnie. Be Safe ✌🏾
Your organization drawer is spot on.
Nice bag to
Thanks man.. Be safe out here..✌🏾
I agree with you on the front material. Not my favorite and it seems more style than substance. Would love an all nylon version for less money.
Your organization set up is dope!
Still recommend the Vanquest Addax 25. Just got it and it’s awesome. (Think we have the same taste so I think it would be your thing)
I got something from them coming up really soon.. I will circle back for Addax 25.. Looks good.. Be Safe ✌🏾

Solid review. Eddie Murphy Raw reference bumped it up to another level.
"Eddie Murphy Raw..." exactly!
Hey George I have the Aer Travel Small 2.0. This have a clam shell opening and less shiny at the front. Perfect for travel on professional meetings
Nice.. I would love for them to make and EDC/teck pack at 25L.. that would be sweet. Be safe ✌🏾
Отличный рюкзак! И отличный обзор!
Thanks for the great review!
Does it stand on its own or only because of the way you have stuff put into it?
No it stands by itself.. it has a flat bottom.. Be Safe ✌🏾

Yeah.. I'm not sure why they went with that material again? I think they should just take a look at doing something else. Be Safe ✌🏾
Yo I love this edc cabinet.
Thanks Tommy.. Be safe ✌🏾
Love the shiny stuff too. Disappointed they filled it down for the 2!
Eddie is my dude so I like this pack, but I think it looks better on the Day pack 2... this is a pretty big bag
I like this pack a lot the materials are top-notch.. Be Safe ✌🏾

do you think this backpack would be good for a high school student?
yes, I don't see why not. Only problem is large text books. I don't know your child's load but more than three may be an issue. Be Safe
I just got this bag and I actually like the Eddie Murphy Raw lol. I’ll be posting a review soon. 👌🏼
I'm glad you like it Daniel. Can't wait for the review. Be safe ✌🏾
Nice video man!
Is there any way to modify the front of the pack to remove its sheen and make it super matte?
I'm not sure man.. I would avoid it. Pay $200 and then mod it.. Nah I would look somewhere else.. Be safe ✌🏾

do you think the PU coating will peel?
I don't think so.. Very solid construction on this bag. Be Safe

Great review. Great bag but I couldn't handle that shiny front either.
