I think about this so much. In dreams I survive the "wave" but still fear it. When I see the mushroom cloud in these videos I'm always blown away by it's magnitude, and feel relieved its "over there" ... but then the wave of burning enery hits and you realise that everything around you would be destroyed and on fire in that very moment, and you'd better off be dead rather than burning and experiencing what you're seeing during the simulation. It's a humbling feeling. We are fragile.

Nuclear explosions, when they explode, are not as bad as people think... it's the aftermath, hours & days after that are absolutely terrible... If the explosion would have been on the city after the water separation, yes, HERE, you'd get instantly vaporized, actually, even 5 km further away. This looks to me like a H bomb, at least of the size of Ivy Mike, if not insanely more...
