    Hope you guys enjoy the video I spent a lot of time scripting and editing this video to be clear and concise while also detailed and not too long, I hope it lives up to expectations more tutorials in this style soon!, let me know what you think, am sure i got something wrong but with aurora you can never be 100% perfect.

      This is going to be invaluable for new (and new-ish) players! Learned most of this on my own and it wasn't always a fun experience :)

      @@aurex8937 Thanks, yea am sure more experienced players will know 99% of this stuff but for newer players this should really help

      @@DefranStrategy Hey hey, good job on the video. I just watched a bunch of your older vids at 1.25* speed (it just felt right), and I was gonna suggest you speed up your videos slightly to keep people engaged, but it seems you've already gone ahead and done just that. Keep up the good work, we noobs need someone to show us the way!

    On a commercial ship, or in general:
    - Thoughts on whether it can be worth using size 0.7 sensors for 1 less crew than a size 1.0 sensor requires?
    - Thoughts on sensors that require zero crew (size 0.2 HS), apart from missile fire control?

    • @ulture

      Probably depends if that one extra crew means you need more berths

    Did You forgot about ELINT sensors? Works like EM Sensors but also gain inteligence points.

    • @DefranStrategy
      @DefranStrategy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I dont consider ELINT sensors, I consider them intelligence gathering devices, i covered EM which ELINT do contain, I plan to cover ELINT, intelligence and espionage in a separate video

    Hey, Defran is it possible to scrap orbital Habitats. i built sodium refiners wrong but need to recover my components?
    Any help appriciated

    • @DefranStrategy
      @DefranStrategy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your question is somewhat hard to answer, orbital habitats are for use in support populations on worlds where you cant use infrastructure or its too costly to do so, sorium or what your typo refered to as "sodium" harvesters wouldnt be on orbital habitats instead on a station.
      So i would need clarification is this a station?, is this actually an orbital habitat or a fuel harvesting station?
      I will try to answer what i think your asking, to scrap a station to recover the components you will need it tool a shipyard to do it, if you want to change it quickly to fix a small mistake you can turn on SM mode and then unlock the design of the station and add what you need in, and that will update all active ships.
      I can give a clearer answer if you were to clarify but i hope this helps.

      @@DefranStrategy Ahh so i built it wrong altogether so ha. Its a 500k station i built using the construction of the planet. Its has 30 harvesters and 10 million fuel but i realized that was very small i also didn't designate it as a tanker so id like to scrap it and return the Harvesters if i could.
      The SM mode it like a cheat mode so. Maybe that is the best option
