This red wayfarer with a mahogany deck looks exactly like my boat that I had when my husband was living. I took it to Texas with me when he died, but I eventually had to sell it. It was so much fun! Thank you for putting these pictures up.

Interesting to see these chaps setting up their dinghy tent while walking outside the boat.
The point is to do it afloat!

Almost every single sail boat tent video has people doing that, walking all around on dry land. And how do they attach the line that goes under the boat? Maybe they just toss over the front with one side attached and slowly tighten hoping it slips into place? Perhaps with some weights roughly in the center to make sure the line goes down? Would like to see real world setting up the tent.

Wishing my Sunfish had more space...and stability to do this. Instead, I camp on shore. This looks pretty nice. I just wonder if there's a more secure way to attach it without tying under the boat.

Who makes these tents or is it home made

Looks really flimsy to me. Just yesterday I had occasion to sit in my car through a Midwestern rain squall. Several puffs were strong enough to rock the car on its suspension. It was raining so hard (horizontally) that visibility was much decreased by the volume of water in the air. I can't imagine that tent surviving, let alone keeping its occupants dry.

Guys, if you would please answer a quick question on the Wayfarer... I am 6'-1" with wide shoulders... is there enough room on the floor of the boat to stretch out and sleep comfortably?

I'd like to know this. I'm thinking of selling my RIB for some type of small cruising dinghy. Might be worth popping down to your local marina sailing club or Harbour and see if there's any to look at. I never had official training so have never even noticed a wayfarer until I started online reading

Shame about the jingly background music being the foreground sound. Cant hear what the chap has to say!
