Thanks to cat man Chris and his helpers they saved five more adorable kittens from a bad life outside to a wonderful, new long and happy life inside with forever homes. Five kittens that are going to be sprayed or neuterd to prevent future kitten litters from occurring. Chris is a true angel sended from the heavens to help cats and kittens. And who are the a holes who dis like any of Chris's heartwarming cat rescue videos. Every time i watch one of Chris's videos it makes me feel great. I currently have four cats in my home all rescued from outside. God bless cat man Chris. :)

I noticed the flashlights and had a thought....you know those "red dot" lasers cats run after? Maybe you could lure kittens out of their hiding places with one of these. ??
Reminds me of how I'd help my dad trap kittens at my grandpas farm He knew it wasnt a real safe place for them, deeply loved them, even set out food and water to make them a bit more trustful and a bit easier to snag. We trapped plenty of kittens, a few older cats, and we even found a litter of seven who were barely a few weeks old, unfortunately the mother was found hit on the side of the road. So we brought them home and bottle fed them until they were old enough. We kept 3, and the rest were found forever homes! In the past year my grandfather moved off his land because a celebrity home business paid him for the land and had tried to get him off before. I can only hope that cats of the previous farmlands wont get injured in the plowing of the land and building of homes

I hope you will also catch the mothercat(s), leaving a mothercat behind without her litter is very stressfull and will cause healthissues for the mom because she is nursing them (i am a vet). I hate seeing the kittens in such distress - even though I know that they'll just have to endure this little pain for a lifetime of happiness and comfort. I think one of the hardest things when dealing with our pets (or other animals) is that they don't understand what's going on, and we cant' tell them. We just have to power through to get to the other side where animals are happy and healthy. And hope they don't hold grudges and pee in our shoes.

The shelters in the US are non - profit organizations except for the municipal animal shelter which does not have a great facility, really. A lot of rescuing is done by citizens acting on their own with humane traps supplied by non - profit organizations. All are volunteers and donations go to help those trapped. You can see Chris has redone his garage to foster these kittens without taking them to a shelter. There is a volunteer clinic that sets up to spay and neuter cats so they don't reproduce, and if they are feral, they are released because they aren't socialized. Ultimately the foundations are created by you and other caring people. And the neutering clinics are run by volunteer vets. Much good fortune to you should you decide to take this on yourself. Talk to a vet about how this might be done. You never know: you might have more support than you think. Contact the US Humane Society. They might have information on how to start one yourself.

You are all just great for rescuing those kittens, hope they find forever homes, I have cared for cats and kittens since 2005, some had feline leukemia, sometimes people would drop them at my 5 acre place, some would come for herbal remedies for their pets. I have saved and found homes for 1,882 kittens and cats, but the ones with feline leukemia did not find homes, so I kept them until they went to heaven, I love all animals. God Bless America
@@rounddcat Agreed. They are all trained up. And they can still be spry and active like Cole and Marmalade. My Mena chose me when she stuck her beautiful nose out of the box inside her cage. She wouldn't come out on her own, so I had to reach in. She let me mess with her paws and tail, and she leaned against me as I petted her side. And when I brought her out, she hugged my shoulder. It was a magic moment! (meanwhile my cat lady friend who helped me was loving on a Polydactyl that scratched me.) I'm so glad my April kitty found a furever home in my condo. She and I have been through thick and thin together!
An older cat has the advantage of being house trained and some of the kitten energy is gone. I know that kittens are a lot of fun but the training period can be difficult (not to mention painful as the kitten considers you to be a scratch post). And even if they are several years old they are still fun (my cat sees me across the room, puffs himself up and charges towards me as a challenge to play). The real problem with kittens is that they are all so damn cute and funny that you are tempted to get like ten of them and then find out that later that it is more cat energy that one person can normally handle - it's two in the morning and the cat's want to play.
So many unsung hero's and heroin's in this world that do such wonderful work for 'the littles' and selflessly rescue and save animals. God bless you all! Hope good homes can be found for them all. The black/white ones and orange/white are beautiful, possibly long hairs.

Makes me so angry that there are so many STUPID people who refuse to spay or neuter their cats or abandon them when they get pregnant!! Thank God that you guys saved these precious little lives, but there are so many more unrescued cats and kittens (and dogs too)that live lives of misery because of peoples stupidity.
Janina S. I know a woman that has a cat that continuously has litters because she escapes outside. When I told her to spay her cat, she told me she simply didn't have the money. Me, being the blunt person I am, told her she shouldn't have gotten the cat in the first place if she didn't have the means to take care of her. Pets are not disposable objects, they are living creatures that come with responsibilities. If someone refuses to meet those responsibilities, they should not have gotten the animal in the first place. Just my two cents

There are other ways that cats do not have babies. for example the Suprelorin chip;) This is also written in the law. And if you castrate a cat, then it is no longer intact. And what I wanted to say I am an absolute animal rights activist from head to toe.

From my perspective, inserting technology with no longterm study on health effects is potentially more harmful than a simple surgical procedure that has been saving lives (both of the animal and potentially unwanted offspring) for hundreds of years.

Well, if some court who hasn't ever had to deal with feeding or caring for hundreds/thousands of stray pets arbitrarily ruled it, it must be in every animal's best interest, right? Never mind---we each have our opinions on this issue, and it is obvious some people can't see past their gonads to interpret and react to a crisis rationally. To each their own.

My Mena chose me when she stuck her beautiful nose out of the box inside her cage. She wouldn't come out on her own, so I had to reach in. She let me mess with her paws and tail, and she leaned against me as I petted her side. And when I brought her out, she hugged my shoulder. It was a magic moment! (meanwhile my cat lady friend who helped me was loving on a Polydactyl that scratched me.)
I'm so glad my April kitty found a furever home in my condo. She and I have been through thick and thin together!
An older cat has the advantage of being house trained and some of the kitten energy is gone. I know that kittens are a lot of fun but the training period can be difficult (not to mention painful as the kitten considers you to be a scratch post). And even if they are several years old they are still fun (my cat sees me across the room, puffs himself up and charges towards me as a challenge to play). The real problem with kittens is that they are all so damn cute and funny that you are tempted to get like ten of them and then find out that later that it is more cat energy that one person can normally handle - it's two in the morning and the cat's want to play.

Makes me so angry that there are so many STUPID people who refuse to spay or neuter their cats or abandon them when they get pregnant!! Thank God that you guys saved these precious little lives, but there are so many more unrescued cats and kittens (and dogs too)that live lives of misery because of peoples stupidity.
Janina S. I know a woman that has a cat that continuously has litters because she escapes outside. When I told her to spay her cat, she told me she simply didn't have the money. Me, being the blunt person I am, told her she shouldn't have gotten the cat in the first place if she didn't have the means to take care of her.
Pets are not disposable objects, they are living creatures that come with responsibilities. If someone refuses to meet those responsibilities, they should not have gotten the animal in the first place.

So love Janina S. I find it a very big mess when people have their cats castrated, because every animal has a right to integrity. There are other ways that cats do not have babies. for example the Suprelorin chip;) This is also written in the law. And if you castrate a cat, then it is no longer intact. And what I wanted to say I am an absolute animal rights activist from head to toe.
Snowwolf, let me get this right....you have a problem neutering/castrating an animal but you have no problem putting an electronic chip in its body??? From my perspective, inserting technology with no longterm study on health effects is potentially more harmful than a simple surgical procedure that has been saving lives (both of the animal and potentially unwanted offspring) for hundreds of years.

Furthermore, the International Court of Justice in The Hague has brought out a precession judgment, where it is clearly said that every animal has a right to integrity. Only in communicable diseases, an animal may be castrated.
Snowwolf, a chip is a chip---it is a foreign object in the body. Well, if some court who hasn't ever had to deal with feeding or caring for hundreds/thousands of stray pets arbitrarily ruled it, it must be in every animal's best interest, right? I don't suppose this court views massive overpopulation, leading to the ill health, suffering and death of millions of animals, as a "communicable disease"? Never mind---we each have our opinions on this issue, and it is obvious some people can't see past their gonads to interpret and react to a crisis rationally. To each their own.

Wow! Great job Diane, the other lady (sorry, I don't know her name), you and Jess! I'm so happy that there's kind people out there looking out for feral cats and trapping them. I have a feral colony near me who I help feed with other cat-loving neighbours. Most of them have been trapped and neutered, but at least two more need to be trapped. xx
