All of hopes appear before the dawn. When it comes into the end of the shipgirls fate. Whether it will become lost all of your hopes... It will rise from the deep side of the sea... Wait for me, Admiral... I will come for you... - Message from the Abyssal
This song suits the Imperial Navy from Warhammer 40,000 better. Specifically, it suits the image of their ship crews loading the weapons on those ships well. Very, very well.
This would match an industrial scene where the Kanmusu's rigging is assembled from scratch for the very first time. Metal is poured and hammered into place, plates welded together and fitted on, the guns are installed and sighted, engines firing up for the first time and belching thick black smoke out of the smoke stacks, and lastly cutting to the completed rigging, polished and shiny and painted, waiting for the kanmusu to step into it and take it to battle. And then it fades to black with the date of release of Kancolle: The Movie ...I'm getting chills thinking about it.
Like, just imagine an empty factory. Some leftover machines in the background and chains and hooks dangling from the ceiling. A light turns on, revealing an empty concrete floor. Then something rolls into view. A small metal pipe, just a few mm in diameter, rolls to a halt underneath the light. And then the music plays. With each beat, more parts appear and they fit themselves together with each metallic clang. The music reaches 1:30 mark and dramatic slamming of parts together. At the last shout, the engine that was being assembled fires up. While the engine is roaring, more pieces of the machine assemble themselves. The screen is full of activity as parts fit together in various shapes. You can't tell what is what yet as the camera keeps moving from one part to the next, until at the music's crescendo, the camera stops moving, and pans out to reveal the Kanmusu's rigging. Engine purring, paint gleaming, and ready to enter battle.
A good thought, yes. This album, however, has another song made for that. Not that this detracts from this. I myself thinks it suits WH40K Imperial Navy gun crews best.
@@typehere6689 Arsenal, right? I just feel that the heavy metal beats in this one match an Industrial theme best. Arsenal feels like a factory at work, not a ship being hammered together. Also, thank you for commenting. I don't get to bounce ideas off others very often.
That was a shockingly swift response. Re: the album. It was made to invoke Abyssal tragedy. As a Warhammer fan, this thing invokes the grace and glory of the Emperor and Omnissiah. Not because of generic thematic elements, but because of Adeptus Mechanicus theology and trait connections shared by Japan and the Imperium. Mostly the Adeptus Mechanicus theology connections in more serious iterations of this notion. The Imperial connections are typically done for the sake of jokes.
@@typehere6689 It's 1am and I can't fall asleep, so I'm wasting time on youtube lol I have never played warhammer before, only heard a few memes here and there, so I'm not familiar with it. Thank you for enlightening me! What is it about Adeptus Mechanicus and WH40K that connects so well to this piece? Is it because they worship machines? Is it because of the idea of fighting for the glory of the god emperor?
What Admiral marching song? This is a song more fitting for Imperial Navy loader gangs. Just imagine them dragging chains to the beat of drums to load Macrocannons and torpedo tubes.
Haven't seen this, but I know both songs are based on one from the actual game. I said what I did as the song in the video fits what I said it would fit better.
This song gives me images of Imperial Navy gun crews from 40k loading Macrocannons and torpedo tubes manually to the beat of drums, and maybe the Emperor's enemies exploding.
後ろの金属音が最高にマッチしてる…

Theme of the Admiral of the Abyssals
Nah. It fits WH40K Imperial Navy gun loader crews better.
Ave Imperator.
All of hopes appear before the dawn.

I imagine the metallic percussion to be a Ru-class slamming her cannon-shields together as a war drum.
...beautiful for a beautiful abyssal.

this actually connected to ~night battle~
Sounds similar to Skyrim OST when your in sovngarde facing Alduin.
Glad I'm not the only one. Every time I heard it I thought of this. Took me an age to find it again though
