Nicola nailed it! She had me with the level of detail and her ease of telling the story.
My favorite thing about David's story is that I'm almost certain the card originally must have said "enormity," but David corrected the writers to make the card say "enormousness," since "enormousness" is about size, but "enormity" means "something really terrible."
😂 Keeping all those Bridgerton secrets has certainly made Nicola a convincing liar.

I did hear on the "The Rest is Entertainment" podcast that they sometimes have to edit space before Lee Mack's jokes because he's *so* quick it sounds like it's been scripted.

David said it best; when it's Bob, trying to think on anything is futile, and it's just a pure guess no matter what. The man has led quite the life, and his story telling prowess is incredible.

They've obviously never heard of the dull mans club - it was so obviously egg club!
what confuses me about this segment is, Lee's had his own sitcom for several years, there's no way he doesn't know about those typical production practices. things like the 2nd AD running the actors and whatnot still happens for a multi-cam, audience sitcom, too. And I don't know why he'd be playing dumb about it for comic affect, plenty of other times in the past he'd make it clear he knew what a person was talking about with certain details of the story and he still made it funny
Before watching further, I'm gonna say I think its David. I wouldnt be surprised if they "get that a lot" - sometimes you think "i really could just destroy this right now" about something small or fragile, and even though you know you dont want to break it, you cant get it out of your head. It reminds me of the bird sanctuary story.

Sara is nearly correct about how to stop pickups what you do you hold your breath and you put your hands covering your ears so there is pressure and you hold your breath and keep the pressure up as long as you can once you cannot hold your breath anymore release both and if it doesn’t work the first time it will definitely work the second time- a nurse’s, daughter and first aider here who will verify through personal experience.
"over-confidence" is the most British thing one could be banned for. If only they'd started that in Imperial times.

This is an old clip from the pandemic when we had the distancing laws. The last series had them sitting back together. Doesn't take a genius to realise this was from 3yrs ago with social distancing. Try using your brain before making comments like this.

Hiccups are a spasm in the diaphragm so the best way to get rid of them is to reset it kind of by taking a deep breath and holding it for as long as possible

No one said it with an "r". What you're hearing is /ˈkɑːsl/, as distinct from /ˈkæsl/.
Regional accents mean both pronunciations can be right. This is true in Australia as well

Yes for us southern Brits in phonics you pronounce the a in words such as Castle and bath, grass as an ar sound . This is a British show with Brits on it .Up north it’s pronounced as an a sound . Lee Mack pronounces it as an a as he’s from Southport
