I remember Richard disturbing Lee in Richard's own dressing room in an episode of 'Not Going Out' when Lee and Daisy tried to get the answers to the questions on 'Pointless' when they were chosen to appear on the show.
he did the best possible job to try and convince them of the 3 bosses lie. The fact he still didn't succeed proves that that was pretty much an impossible sell
What a lot of people don't seem to get is it doesn't matter at all if the lies are possible to pull off or not...the only point is to serve as prompts to create a funny conversation, which would be entertaining to watch on TV. The points don't matter.
Patsy Kensit was a dream girl for me and many of my friends in 1989 when she appeared in Lethal Weapon 2. Watching her on this clip, cackling like someone's drunk aunt at a wedding reception really takes me out of that.
From 28 years in showbiz I can say the name game on the dressing room is quite common. Humour does factor in and becomes an inside joke for cast and crew.
In a panel show setting vs real-life, interpersonal conversations are two different things. They're comedians, they'll mock you for your class, your accent, your birthplace, your face, your clothes, your name... it's all in good spirit and they're _paid_ to entertain the audience. Surely Richard is smart enough not to take it personally?
My favourite panelist. So intelligent, genuine and with wit enough to stand his ground against Lee
The interaction between David and Richard about the inventor of the hovercraft is maybe one of the most British interactions ever.
Care to give an explanation for the non Brits?
@@newailehow is that very British? Witty yes, but British?
@@helenadahlgren4986well David’s response: “you’re quite right” seems very British
I love this guy - his temperament is so unassuming but he's just hilarious
He is no comedian, yet always quick, witty and funny...
Quite a feat...
Brilliant! I love his books
In the town I worked in the fire chief was named Woodburn.
I know a choir teacher with the surname 'Sung'

WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE BANKER?!
It’s Dave of course 😎
It came out a few years ago. It was one of the producers on Deal or no Deal (Not Richard).
The badger.

Bob just wanted to hear a funny name for the banker. 😹

His most impressive name became his downfall: His initials were TV and still in the industry.
He is friends with the producers and they give him awkward list questions to see him squirm coming up with them.
I'd have given him the point, that was very quick thinking!
i love the tony verril call back later in that show

if Lee or David get sick, Richard would make an excellent stand in captain
Richard is good at clues and distractions and so on. He should write a mystery novel some time.
David and Lee taking the piss with Rob is hilarious, especially the 4 long texts.
5:04 Rob Rinder is so delightful!
Love when Lee and David get stuck into Rob
Richard is great

The thumbnail says this video's length is leet, but once I play the video it's only leeg...
God, I'm old...
I too was taken in my this leet deception. Scandalous!
Ahh children of the 90's trying to be cool with the world wide web.
Is this where Lee got the idea to do Pointless on "Not going out"
Some tall tales from Richard there.
A friend of mine from school had a gynecologist named Dr. Finger.
Noel edmund is universally hated
Love Richard Osman. Anyone looking for a good podcast, have a look at his!
It's on TH-cam!
Whats its name
Is this a musical 🤣🤣
I notice all of Lee's jokes are about Richard's height and he's said many times on other shows that he really doesn't like this.
When they booked him together with Greg Davies, the show's producers knew what they were doing... 😌

2nd one was obvious as are all the ones where the panel member has to invent people.
Unless it's Bob Mortimer.
I feel like Jeremy clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May would have amazing stories for this show
I'm pretty sure Richard Hammond was on at some point...

Don't worry, I'm sure he doesn't like you either.
@@pevy_sueI think Susie dent is sexy AF not only because of her just general appearance and classiness but her intelligence is just extra sexy
Good thing your profile pic is just a letter G, you're saving us from all going blind!
Well, if you take Richard's height into consideration it's very probable that even standing up you're not tall enough to look at his face 😇
