As a kiwi and all blacks fan to the core. I can say with full confidence that I’ve never in my life felt such sympathy for a team. Ireland played their hearts out and I genuinely cried seeing their reactions to that loss. I’m proud of my AB boys but man. That was a heartbreak even for me

This has to be the most gut-wrenching loss of modern rugby, if not all time. You've got to feel for these guys. So close & yet so far; 17 wins in a trott to set the stage for breaking 18 in a WC final, x2 games away from the ultimate prize for the first time, career closures, beating the ABs for the first time in history, a series win IN NZ. It doesn't get worse than having to swallow a bitter pill than that. They would've been hailed equivalent if not more to the 1924 invincibles. The gravity of this loss will not go away easily.

Feel bad for Sexton but his influence isn't over. Every man on the Irish team speaks of his inspiration. He has planted seeds for the future not just in the current crop of players but all the young ones watching. Ireland are an emerging strength and are quick learners so they will be back with a stronger mental game, because they are fine in the skills and tactics departments.

Wow!! What a intense, nail-biting game that went right to the wire! With the Legend veteran Sam Whitelock who has over 152 All Blacks Test caps under his belt. Who was the one that stole and held the ball out of Ireland rich after 37 Phares after the full-time bell went.
Fair play to Ireland, they really brought the heat to us, which the Mighty All Blacks needed and Ireland stayed in the fight! The closest Ireland went without scoring was where Ireland was 5 meters towards the All Blacks try-line side, but Ireland just felt short!
Man this is why I love Rugby so much than Soccer (Football). The good sportsmanship, as both teams threw their tired bodies on the line against each other for their countries. Then afterwards... Players chatting/ talking about the whole game at each other. Players sharing a beer together, Players swapping their sweety jerseys at each other.
Also I noticed the All Blacks comfort the Irish players who were deflated down to the ground alone. Since the Irish players were just progressing in their minds of what just happened.
