What would've caused this to change? typing python was working for me as of yesterday. I had to figure out today I have to now type just py. Can't figure this out anywhere.
To anyone else having problems with it finding python. 1. You can delete you "venv" folder ( it will restart where it thinks your python is) 2. you want to open you 'webui-user" in notepad 3. Edit where it says Python= 4. add whatever directory or path to the .exe of your python 5. Python= C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python310\python.exe 6. save this. 7. click on "webui-user" again and let it run. Hope this helps some people. Also, great video and thank you!
Did all the steps, and even checking afterwards on CMD Users\myprofile>python --version, still says python was not found. I wonder if python is being installed in the wrong folder for some reason.
For those with version not found - Verify what folder Python was installed in, for me, I searched for Python in Windows bar, right clicked, and selected "Open File Location." My version was installed in the "AppData>Roaming" folder. Then Copy and Paste that location as described in Crown's video in addition to adding the script
I don't know if it'll help anyone but the first time I did this, I placed the copied paths into the User variables. Didn't work. I tried again and saw my mistake. I placed the copied paths into the System variables and it worked like a charm
it made it even worse, before at least when i typed python --version, it showed me the version now i dont see anything, dislike. Another useless guide.
Just putting this here in case someone else is using python 3.13. I found out you literally just use "py" command instead of "python".
u save me brotha
