well the ucs are mostly for the builds, and let the minifigures that the kids and adults all want be allowed high quality for free. also this screws scalpers and thats a benefit for all
people complained rex wasnt good enough for a 650 dollar set, but now he's too good for a 13 dollar set? everyone should be able to own cool figs, not just people with massive amounts of expendable income!

Nowadays even cheap sets contain figures with arm printing (ex. Rex, Din Djarin etc) and I really like how LEGO is doing that now
