I disagree on 2 of your choices. I would say the best Episode 4 playset is hands down #75290 Mos Eisley Cantina. That set is amazing with 21 minifigs (with some set exclusives), a Dewback, a vehicle, a second building. It opens for play or folds up to make a complete structure. It's perfect! Secondly, the best Mandalorian playset, in my opinion, is #75292 The Razor Crest. It's a solid build with tons of play features and it scales nicely with minifigs without being too big for diorama setups. The fang fighter vs. Tie Interceptor didn't even happen in the show! I enjoyed your picks, have a few of them in my collection and honestly was stunned at some of the price increases for the earlier sets that have long since retired. Cheers!
It’s weird, but Lego’s site does have that playscale Star Destroyer listed officially as an episode IV set despite it having ROTJ box art and literally being an ISD II model, which didn’t exist in lore until ESB.
I think the Battle of Endor set from 2010 has to be the best play set from Return of the Jedi. You’ve got pretty much everything you need to reenact that scene. Also has tons of cool play features with the catapult, the glider, the walking AT-ST, two speeder bikes, the bunker doors, and the exploding bunker panels, not to mention 11 minifigs.
08:40 totally agree. Hands down the best Tie fighter set bar maybe the UCS version 14:10 I think that’s a great choice for ROTJ, definitely the best Imperial shuttle set, BUT I think you’ve overlooked something even better for ROTJ…..the buildable Scout Trooper and Speeder bike! Probably the best of the buildable figures (I know most say that’s General Grevious but I’m an OG guy, not hugely into the sequels/prequels.etc.) I mean you get an awesome looking scout trooper figure and unlike the other buildables, he comes with a vehicle! Totally missed opportunity with the buildables was not giving more of them vehicles. Like can you imagine if they’d have done say a B1 battle droid with a STAP? Or a Clone Trooper with an ATRT or a BARC speeder bike? Or even Grevious’ one wheel, thing? 14:31 and yes the shuttle is definitely a great UCS set, but the UCS B wing was awesome too! Unfortunately they won’t be remaking these sets anytime soon. We get 3 UCS x wings, 3 UCS Falcons, 2 UCS snowspeeders but no repeats of the shuttle or the b wing. 🤬
I disagree with the At-M6, cuz for the price it didnt offer much in interior or figs (as all the cool figs were later put in other sets) For that spot I would definitly say the FO Star Destroyer, It looks amazing on display, offers tons of play features and can fit 30+ figs with no problem

Very solid list, I think I agree with every choice except for a couple. For Episode I I'd either choose the MTT or Anakin's and Sebulba's podracers. Best set for Episode VI is Jabba's Palace, even better when combined with the Rancor Pit of course, but the Tydirium is also great. For The Mandalorian, I'd say the playscale Razor Crest or the Imperial Marauder. For BoBF, I don't think the N-1 is a good-looking build at all (and the ship makes no sense but that's another story) and is way oversized, many MOCs out there are better and smaller. Maybe I'd choose the throne room but only because it has nice background aliens. The TFA Poe's X-wing is nice but the TRoS build is better, save for the colors, so maybe I'd put the FO Transporter above it. For TLJ, I'd say first place goes to the FO Star Destroyer (great interior and exterior) or maybe the Resistance Bomber. The bomber is terrible in the movie but it's a nice looking set. Lego's own AT-M6 has some proportional issues.
I have to disagree about the play scale Star destroyers tho. The old one has in my opinion the best build. While the newer one, looks a little better. You could at least, place the mini-figures in the actual bridge of the ship. Since in the new one, it wastes so much space, placing the bridge in front in the nose of the ship. While it could’ve had a cool play feature or other kind of room there. Just like the old one. I also think the mini-figure selection was way more substantial with better characters to get, in the old one.🤷♂️
The 2013 gunship is pretty good. However it does have flaws, just like 2023 one. The wings are wayy too short and its something i see nobody point out. And the cylinder things on the top also look kinda weird, which are both things the 2023 gunship does better. But i still think its the best gunship and definitely the best episode 2 set.

There is actually a second UCS set from the Phantom Menace. 10026-1 Naboo Starfighter. With a piece count of only 187 and an original retail price of $40 it is by far the smallest and most affordable UCS set ever released. It came out at a time when LEGO still considered collectors for adults as an unproven experiment, so they would put any collectors set under the UCS label. I actually still have my copy of this set from when I was in middle school.
Wow, you put two Imperial Star Destroyers, two ATAT and two imperial shuttles as the best sets for Episode 4 5 6. This man is an empire guy to the core lmao!
6:40 in my opinion the AT-TE from 2007(the Clone wars one) is the far superior play Set, but overall the Set from Episode 3 is better, because i think it has the better minifigures
Not that it really matters but the Star Destroyer you put as the best set for episode 4 is actually based off Episode 5, due to the Palpatine hologram Included in the set.

Absolutely agree to the point, that Andor is the best thing Star Wars has ever made. Not because we got the 30000th Easter egg in here or character X came back, but especially because this does not happen at all. Its great, its new, its like a politic thriller, and yes the first 2 Episodes are slow, but still fckn great!
The only one of these that I really disagree with is the Fang Fighter and TIE Interceptor as the best Mandalorian set. Though the two ships were designed phenomenally, the choice of characters to include was terrible, with an (albeit upgraded) Mando, a minor side character with little screen time, a regular Imp pilot, and an astromech that seemingly wasn’t in the show, plus the battle that the set was based on didn’t really make it into the series in the end. A set like the Razor Crest would have been a much better choice, with a solid selection of main characters plus some opposition, and a well-designed sturdy rendition of a popular starship with heaps of play features and interior space.
Who cares if a starfighter set has special characters? It includes the figures needed to pilot the ship. The builds are amazing, especially the interceptor, and that's all that really matters.
@@gbrow1604 I get where you’re coming from, but also, lots of people do care about aspects of the set other than the quality of the builds included, and were a bit underwhelmed by that set, so from a more “objective” standpoint, it isn’t all that really matters. I’m glad you like it despite its flaws though, because those builds really are epic and deserve much more love.
@@gbrow1604 I know, but LEGO chose to include the fleet commander in the set, and to make the set at all, because they were under the impression that there would be a whole space battle scene in the finale, which there wasn’t. And even then, the rest of the figures aren’t very exciting. The starships are super well designed, and fun to play with, but in the end, LEGO’s process of making an exciting set based on Mando season 3 failed to an extent (by no fault of their own), and some aspects of the final product suffered as a result. Keep in mind, I have the set and like it a lot. It isn’t a bad set at all. I just think it’s a stretch to call it *the best* set from the Mandalorian, especially considering how awesome some of the other sets are, which was my point in my original comment.

I have the 2019 version it’s a great set. Although I think the 2014 one is better because it’s a little bit taller and doesn’t lean as far forward as the 2019 model which makes it more accurate. I know AT-APs lean forward but the 2019 one leans TOO far forward which kinda takes away from the look
This is an unpopular opinion but I think the MTT is overrated. I think the back looks awkward because there missing a large section which goes on the back so it doesn’t slope down that much from the front
My friend has a blue tent shaped like a bit like the MTT and when she set it up at a festival it annoyed me for hours trying to think why I recognised the shape
You know, lookin back it makes me sad the sequels were such terrible movies. They had some surprisingly great vehicle and order/resistance designs. I never took notice until Poe's X-wing and the AT-M6. Hopefully sometime these'll be done justice and have proper lore and good stories added to them! Now if only we could get another Gungan focused lego set for TPM. We haven’t had any in a longggg time..
I find it hard to like sets which are based on chrome ships, their main draw point is their color but seeing it in a flat gray just throws me off. I do understand it’s not realistic to make a chrome set like they did back in the day with the UCS naboo starfighter those pieces scratch so easily. For sets like the razor crest I don’t have a problem because they are raw metal not chrome and when not in a bright light they look gray so I’d doesn’t throw me off in the same way
I feel like the UCS Millennium Falcon can be said to be the best UCS set of The Force Awakens. I know it's from episode 5 and 7 but having 6 figures from episode 7, 2 from both, and only 3 from episode 5, it's mostly an episode 7 set
I know it's kind of a goofy show, but what about the Yoda Chronicles? I think there were only a couple sets from this show but I have Jek-14's Stealth Starfighter and it's an amazing set in my opinion.
I love the At-te. But I have to say the 2014 V-Wing would have been my pick for ROTS. To me the V-wing looks better both on display and in Mocs, and it comes with that sexy V-Wing pilot. No hate ofc. I love your channel
I disagree for the new hope set. This star destroyer is the top 6th set in my opinion. While I get that the bottom needs to be flat since it opens up and stands in minifigure scale are off the table, the accuracy suffers from it. the figure selection while decent is on the weaker side and the year before the new vader was made is a bit unfortunate if you can forgive the anachronism. Also hiding dioramas in sets is a bit clanky because there are a lot of constraints to work with. Limited shape, size, structure overall tend to impact the play value itself. IMO, some sets prevail, like the 2018 Xwing, the blockade runner from 2019, the cantina from 2014 or even the falcon from 2011. My personnal 5th would be the imperial dropship from 2018 but I bet most people would rightfully disagree on this pick. I just happen to love it
I also disagree for the ep 5 UCS pick. Sure the walker is awesome and worth it's praise, but the millenium falcon is better. I also love the slave 1 better
You and I have many similar opinions. Rogue One and Revenge Of The Sith are my 2 favorite Star Wars movies (I like Rogue One a *little* bit more though), I despise The Last Jedi, and I also think that the AT-M6 is one of the best walkers in the series despite hating the sequels.
What exactly is the controversy with the Captain Rex? I don't understand why people are so upset that a figure so many people wanted is coming in a cheaper set

My friend has a blue tent shaped like a bit like the MTT and when she set it up at a festival it annoyed me for hours trying to think why I recognised the shape
No matter what anyone says ROTS and Rogue one as your top two Star Wars movies is crazy valid
if the Darth Maul bust counts as UCS, the special edition naboo starfighter with all the hallmarks of later UCS sets definitely deserves that spot.
4:49 isn’t the 2019 tantive iv the largest play-set (non ucs set)? It has 10 more pieces than the drop-ship and at ot.
I used to have Krennic's shuttle, such a fantastic set!! Gotta be one of my favourites that I've owned
I find it hard to like sets which are based on chrome ships, their main draw point is their color but seeing it in a flat gray just throws me off. I do understand it’s not realistic to make a chrome set like they did back in the day with the UCS naboo starfighter those pieces scratch so easily. For sets like the razor crest I don’t have a problem because they are raw metal not chrome and when not in a bright light they look gray so I’d doesn’t throw me off in the same way
Palpatines throne room should easily be number one for rotj it’s literally the perfect play set
Damn, Palpatine's Arrest got absolutely shafted
I did a video ranking every ep 3 set and it didn’t even make the top 20 I think it’s overrated ngl
@@fivelonelyclones aw hell naw

How do you ignore Boba Fett's Slave1 UCS build for Empire?
Isn’t there a UCS Naboo fighter?
I feel like the UCS Millennium Falcon can be said to be the best UCS set of The Force Awakens. I know it's from episode 5 and 7 but having 6 figures from episode 7, 2 from both, and only 3 from episode 5, it's mostly an episode 7 set
Never knew they made a set for the old clone wars or resistance. That’s crazy
What is with the uns Naboo starfighter for Phantom mance?
Wait what about the Death Star for ep 4?
You can’t beat attack of the clones ☺️
Attack of the clones is hot garbage
@@astranger6737 yeah that’s why nothing can beat it, it’s already at the bottom 💀
I thought that the 2014 ISD was based on like ESB? Or even ROTJ, since it was "paired" with the 2014 B-Wing.
Yeah i noticed that but on brickset it’s in the episode iv subtheme
Famous last words= clearly the UCS gunship is better. . .
You and I have many similar opinions. Rogue One and Revenge Of The Sith are my 2 favorite Star Wars movies (I like Rogue One a *little* bit more though), I despise The Last Jedi, and I also think that the AT-M6 is one of the best walkers in the series despite hating the sequels.
is the ucs naboo starfighter not episode 1?
I always thought that the Star Destroyer would be considered an ESB set since it has the hologram of the Emperor
I love the old Clone Wars Ventress design, looks much better than the TCW one
So you're telling me for the mandalorian You picked the versus set?? Instead of the moff Gideons light cruiser??
Ain´t there also a ucs Naboo starfighter for the phantom menace?

@@fivelonelyclones thnx! Cant believe that's an Attack of the Clones set hahahaah
I've finally found someone who likes Rogue One and Revenge of the Sith the most!
Wasn't there a UCS Naboo starfighter from the early 2000's?
Pinned comment
AOTC has 3 UCS sets. The UCS Naboo starfighter is from that film technically since the box art is on Coruscant
Look at the pinned comment
Not to be a nerd but isn’t the star destroyer an episode 5 set because it has an emperor hologram?
Your right
Not according to brickset
@@fivelonelyclones interesting.
Great pics for return of the Jedi!
Although, I think the UCS Slave 1 might take the cake for best ESB UCS set. But it’s hard to beat the UCS ATAT..
What about the ewok village from return of the jedi
for 2009 the republic dropship is amazing , for 2024 its a bit overrated but still an amazing set
i was suprised that the ewok village or jabbas sand barge wasnt either of the 1st pics for episode 6
Can’t believe you ignored my boy The Yoda Chronicals
I am a proud owner and displayer of every Star Wars resistance set 😤
All these Prices hurt *so* much, both retail and after-market.
Isnt the naboo Starfighter with the chrome pieces a ucs set from the Phantom Menace too?

@@fivelonelyclones oh nevermind didnt saw that sorry
Andor is wayyy underrated
Freemaker adventures left the chat
What exactly is the controversy with the Captain Rex? I don't understand why people are so upset that a figure so many people wanted is coming in a cheaper set
The best return of the Jedi set is the rancor pit and the jabba’s palace and the jabba’s sail barge
I prefer the blue x wing to the orange one in tfa just because the rubber bands match the colour scheme
1:24
Incorrect. The chrome N1 Starfighter is the other UCS set from TPM
Read the pinned comment it’s actually an episode 2 set but ironically I also forgot to mention it for the episode 2 ucs sets
I gotta put jabbas og sail barge as the best roj set but i agree with every other set
I almost went with that one
There’s this ucs set from ep.1 that is the Naboo royal starfighter. You totally missed that 😢
