I did pay a visit to see the superleggera the other day , what a bike ! (Through the window btw) Multistrada looks very good 👍 keep the videos coming thanks. 🍻
Thanks very much, yeah I know it’s a game I wasn’t there , the superleggera is so nice ... the v4 Multistrada is obviously a totally different bike, but first impressions is that it could one of the best Ducati’s ever

@@ProjectMoto I've looked at all the videos I could just like when I was buying my 2020 KTM ENDURO 690R & getting so pumped up even though it's not riding season. I called my dealer today inquiring about when it will arrive & he's showing this month or February.
That’s a shame it’s not here yet,, I think these were originally going to be sent to dealers around November, but with delays and problems this year they are a bit late , maybe it’s when the orders were put in or availability to how many they ordered to when the dealer gets it?? Tbh there’s been limited availability on all the bikes this year with all the lockdowns etc .. let’s hope this year is better and you get your bike soon mate, you will love it
@@ProjectMoto it's projected to be in stock January or February, not the worst & isn't great weather for riding but just want it in the garage & see what options might be added
@@raypetrocelli595 yeah the weather is not the best, I rode it.. new tyres , 0* temp, wet icy road ❄️ .... not the best time to be out on a new bike
Great video and thanks for uploading. I have been really looking forward to test riding the Multi V4. You guys very kindly let me test ride the 1260s and the 950s but both were a bit too high for my short legs. Since the V4 is slightly lower seat I think this might be the one for me!! Can't wait!
Oh ok, It’s actually not any lower, if anything probably a little higher, probably due to the shape of the seat ,I just sat on both and my feet are flat on the floor on the 1260 whereas I can’t put my feet flat on the floor of the v4 ,also the v4 is overall a bigger bike... out of the 950,1260 and v4 the 1260 feels the smallest of the 3
Yeah just got someone else to try the height between them all, the seat height may be nearly the same but I think where the seat is wider at the tank your feet are actually further from the floor , the 1260 is definitely the lowest of the 3 bikes

It’s definitely been worth the wait for this bike , for me it’s taken the Multistrada to another level
Had a question, when my Ducati Multistrada V4S Travel & Radar motorcycle ships to my dealership, will the Radar systems be functional or will they have to program that mid year? Was hearing different things about that through the grapevine.
I used the radar system when I took the bike out, worked on the rear radar when someone was behind me and also on the cruise control when someone was in front on me, I haven’t added the app to my phone yet for the satnav (and the phone call and music) but will test that tomorrow, will be uploading a video on all the things you can do
@@ProjectMoto Kool, thought for what we're paying it should come working & not have to pay again for it to be hooked up later. Thanks for your response & so looking forward to receiving the motorcycle

Yeah it’s comfortable for sure, the heated seats are nice too, il put in a word for you mate, but I’m sure your Streetfighter will be awesome for your trip

Thanks.. I’ve done a few other manufacturers but yeah more Ducati’s (helps my friends have a Ducati shop 😂) ..just started this year and learning but will definitely do more manufacturers this year :)

I got mine v4s full on 2nd September and I thought they were supposed to be fast ? Topped out 145mph , is this normal ? Thought they were good for 165 ?
Tbh Don’t really know about top end speed on them , never really tried, I just have a blast round the twist roads on them :) , but just riding it and the gearing and sprockets etc I would of guessed around 150mph?? , which for me would be good on an Adventure bike and how I would use it
The Akraprovic is quite same as my multistrada not really that loud
Yeah it’s not loud as it’s just the end can, the 1260 sounds awesome with a full system, looking forward to hearing one of these with a full system

😂😂 I’ve only got 4 bolts.. obviously I took them out of a packet 😂
What are the red markings on the tire rims?
The red on the wheels is how they come, it is not painted on though, they are a kind of sticker

@@0to100Adventure it’s is a design feature , they have it on a few bikes , not tried to remove one but I think you could remove it ok 👌
Unless they bring out a V4 950 I think this is my next purchase.
It’s so good, get a demo ride of one , do you have a 950 Multistrada already?
@@ProjectMoto I did ride the 950s, but after the test ride I had a line of dirt up my back (high mudguards look great, but a hugger does the job properly) and some bits fell off the demo bike, I didn't like it so much. Then Covids flew in and spoiled everything. Anyway, here's to 2021, will try the V4.

I really don't like the beak on these adventure type bikes.
Yeah they do look like beaks on all these adventure bikes, think the radar part could of looked a little better but guess it has to be like that

@@ozbiker5311 they are not a limited number I don’t think, I think the availability will be the problem with all the delays in the last year and still on going, they will be numbered though like other special edition bikes

No Trellis frame - OK
No Belt - OK
No Desmo Vlvs - still a Ducati? but OK for the longer service interval
No Single Sided Swing Arm - GTFO

Am I the only one that does not understand why people are drawn to such big bikes... I want my bike to be a bike not a two wheeled car :P
The Multistrada V4 is a brilliant bike , has some amazing features ,, it looks big but it’s not to move or ride , if you have not ridden a Multistrada I think you would be surprised how it rides , it would be too big for me as my only bike ( as I’m not that big 😂) , tbh I like smaller older 2 strokes bikes best , something you can work on too , modern bikes are obviously more harder to do that on ..but yeah I see where your coming from it’s nice for a motorcycle to be a motorcycle :)
I get the feeling the v4 is smaller than previous multistradas. Would love to see side by side photo of the v4 and 1260.
@@diydarth you know it actually looks bigger then the old 1260 , that may be the front wheel making it a little taller but with the new V4 engine it’s wider too, will try and show it in the next video

The wings I think you either love them or hate them, to me they good good in the flesh, they are big on the Superleggera
