Good advice. I am living proof that you can overcome compulsive shopping. I started at the age of 12 and my father was the first to notice that my shopping was becoming excessive. You can make a full recovery. Remember it is an addiction and you have to be dedicated to not fall off the wagon like other addictions. The advice the doctor in this video gives are all good. My motto is to not keep buying the same colors and to donate my clothes once my closet gets filled. Less is more!

I think a shopping addiction could be more of a rich child’s conundrum. Possibly hoarding could be of a poor child’s conundrum.
k tee That is what happened to me. People kept telling me not to spend because we were poor, and it made me want to do the opposite.
