Mesmo que vc tenha que conversar com um espelho ou andar falando sozinho pela casa. Pratique! Fale inglês no dia a dia. Já vi pessoas experientes em inglês, que entendem tudo perfeitamente. É curioso como ela ensina o som da letra. Geralmente nós aprendemos o som das consoantes combinadas com as vogais, tipo: B + A = BA

    • @3xperiment8
      @3xperiment8 3 ปีที่แล้ว +33

      Isso varia de língua pra língua. Isso porque em português raramente uma consoante vem sem uma vogal na frente. Já em inglês são inúmeras palavras e verbos que terminam sem vogal. Por exemplo: Speak, Pet, Lock, etc (perceba que não tem vogal no fim). Isso é outra dificuldade para brasileiros pois como estamos acostumados a ter sempre vogal após a consoante quando vem uma consoante sozinha instintivamente colocamos uma vogal na frente. Quem nunca viu brasileiros falando "Booki" ao invés de "book" (percebam que aportuguesando falam Fêicii Bukii (como se essas palavras tivessem i no fim. Não têm. A pronuncia correta é Fêi-s Boo-k). Pronunciar "Pickápi" ao invés de "Pick Up", "Catchi" ao invés de "Cat" etc

      O que acontece é que o português e as outras línguas neolatinas, são fonéticas. Os sons são bem definidos, silabados, respeitando bem a combinação da letra com a vogal, enquanto o inglês e outras línguas germânicas não são muito bem isso. No inglês, quase que cada palavra tem sua própria fonética. Por isso os falantes de inglês tem uma enorme dificuldade para reproduzir os sons latinos. A silabação é necessária para aprender a falar português, mas inglês nem tanto ao meu ver.

    Excellent class! I was born in Brazil but lived almost all my life in Germany. I came back to live in Brazil some years ago after I retired and looked for something to do. So I began giving language lessons, especially in German and English. While giving English lessons I noticed the same problems you mentioned in your video.
    1. The ed-problem is a real one, even people who have a really good pronunciation have big problems with this.
    2. For all I know, the letter R is the most complicated letter to pronounce, because it has such a big variety. It's not only different from country to country, it's already different from region to region inside a country. Your explanation with the tongue is wonderful. I also my student´s difficulty to produce a correct sound, but that also happens with the letter H. In Portuguese the H is always mute, so for example the word hotel is pronounced without it.
    3. I would like to add one more problem I noticed when Brazilians speak English. Brazilians have the tendency to put a sound similar to EE (but short) between two consonants, even in their own language. This also happens at the beginning and at the end of words, if they begin or end with a consonant. Portuguese is a very smooth language and if a word ends with a consonant it sounds a lot harder. On a domestic flight I once heard the flight attendant say: "please fasten seat belts". It sounded a little bit like: "pleesee fashteenee seetchee beltchee". (Please don't get me wrong. I am not making fun of anybody, I am just trying to show the problem.) So I try to show my students that they must not add any sound to a word that ends with a consonant because this could cause some confusion. I always give the example of the word red. If you pronounce it redee it sounds like ready.
    Of course there are other pronunciation problems, but who hasn't them when learning a new language? In my opinion, practising with somebody who has a good pronunciation is the magic word to improve your pronunciation skills. Practice, practice, practice!

    The R pronunciation in the beggining of the word is very different in portuguese, it sounds like a H in english.
    Example: rat (english) = rato (portuguese), and "rato" sounds like "hato" in english pronunciation.
