Thank you for this video! Just bought a magic arm to try out some of these cool pov shots in my own videos. I’ll be sure to use your links if I get anything else 😮💨💯
Been researching this for a bit, and for the love of me could not understand how these are done since no magic arm is visible. THEY WERE HIDING IT. Thanks for solving the mistery!
Hey I’m happy to help! I’ve seen some people photoshop each individual frame and I have tried that but its much more of a pain than simply hiding the magic arm haha!
great video, i came across this while looking for videos on the manfrotto 819-1 small hydrostatic arm. didn't find much, but if you're ever able to - i'd love to see how they're used and just a detailed video about them. also i enjoy your content on the moment page! great to see you have your own thing going on.
Hey thanks so much for watching! I don’t currently own one but if I ever pick one up I’ll be sure to make a video about it :) Hey thanks!! I recently left Moment so I’ll have a lot more content on this page going forward!
bless u for this bro. Now I want to mount my iphone to the camera for the POV shot, however when i attach the magic arm to the bottom of my phone it kind of gets in the way. Do u have a way taht i could attach the arm to my phone case so i could attach the clamp arm to the back of phone case, rather than using the clamp on the phone itself?? Thanks
Happy to help! Do you have a magsafe pop socket or car mount? I would say get a cheap pop magsafe pop socket and use the super clamp to clamp onto your phone!
hello. I'd like to ask you something about more detail. Actually I want to take flim with my own smartphone. Is there any magic arm that conver to smartphone?
Hey! I'd recommend getting the small rig smartphone holder with the magic arm and super clamp to film pot shots with your phone! Here is a link: amzn.to/3RW9fSO
You’d need a clean plate anyway and also the magic arm should be static in the shot so masking it out and using content aware fill in after effects or object remove in DaVinci would work just as well as I think
This all fantastic stuff! Exactly what I was looking for!

Dope video bro
Hey thanks Curt I appreciate it!! 🙏
@6:40 😬 you gotta get yourself some good gaff tape, it doesn't leave a residue at all
I lost my gaff tape but recently found it haha, but yes gas tape is the best!
can you compile all the POV shots from each film into one film so i can watch all of them?
Hey Dylan! I haven’t made any films with this shot, I just wanted to give others some inspiration on how and what they can do with the pov shot :)
the ant is a paid actor 0:06
I gotta make sure he gets his imdb credit ✅
Nice video

breaking bad
how do you use the ND Filter and the mist filter at the same time?
Hey! First I attach the mist filter onto my lens and it has threads on both sides, so then I attach the vnd filter :)
Hey guys, just asking… what if we spray painted the clamp green and green screen effect it?🤔
Somone please try this
Haven’t thought about that but could work!
