It seems like Arlong is going to be a season villain so they can flesh out the fishmen early on, and probably get (relatively) right to the action in Arlong Park.

The red cloud of smoke in the open sea night scene is probably a buggy ball, signalling to the crew the location of the floating circus. The same red color can be seen spattered on the debris after orange town was destroyed by a buggy ball at 11:30
I hope they came to get Nami not to capture her but instead here to pick her up after she stole the treasure and the Going Merry from Luffy, she was supposed to be part of Arlong's crew at that time after all, and her betrayal makes her the early parallel to Robin later.

That’s a huge change, I’m thinking it’s gonna be after Arlong park, Garp chases them out to reverse mountain and we will even get a glimpse at Coby 2.0. Maybe even the last part of the last episode.
I think they merged Sanji and Nami's arcs putting the Baratie docked in her island, changing the setting with Arlong Park being a real theme park in East Blue like Sabaody Park and the island having tourists and such would be a good place for Baratie to dock. In this setting Don Krieg can appear but instead of having an arc focused on him he'll be defeated by Mihawk, like he almost was in the manga, for the main villain on the island is Arlong.
You can see Nojiko and Genzo in the background of the "I saved your ass" clip. The boat that gets hit by the wave is actually two boats. You can see the wine bottle from sanjis flashback and the masthead of zeff's old ship.
I love how EVERYONE trying to put together of WHAT WILL HAPPEN and THIS HAPPEN IN THE ANIME SO IT SHOULD BE THIS WAY IN THE LIVE ACTION. Can't wait for it to turn into a different show all together but still remain ONE PIECE

Garp was at Rodgers execution it’s cannon to the Manga. As in flashback scene while Rodger waiting in the jail before taken to the gallows he asked Garp to take care of his son Ace and thereafter Garp went and adopted him after that execution.

Arlong park still happens as you can see it, as while as the orange trees of namis home, which means there has to be some sort of transition form baratie to arlong park My main theory is that to cut out the scene with the two samurai dude that knew zoro, the one where she changes to get them to turn their backs then steals the ship, It would bring nami to arlong and make sense
With the shanks and the sea king but it makes sense cause he’s not trying to fight the sea king initially he turns to grab luffy because he knows the boat is going under and luffy now can’t swim
I legit only have 2 issues based off this trailer, 1. I am way too used to seeing usopp with a long ass nose that now when I see the actor, he looks like he has no nose. And 2. Based off the trailer arlong talks way quieter than the anime where he is very loud and mouthy. Everything else actually looks so good
I think, since they are showing off buggy whos a literal clown they wanted Arlong to seem more serious for general audience appeal. But if he isn't smiling and laughing most of the time I'll be a little disappointed since his whole "thing" is that he views humans as beneath him and so he's just laughing and toying with them, his brand of terrifying wouldn't work with a purely serious portrayal so I hope these are just a couple of cherry picked lines.

I gotta disagree about speeding straight to the fights at Arlong Park. Even if that’s the way it plays out, I won’t be pleased with that. A lot of the emotional impact of that arc comes from Luffy patiently waiting for Nami to ask for his help, basically waiting for permission. I don’t think that will hit as hard if Luffy just gets right to it, not to mention losing some of the nuance of Luffy’s character.
