The thing about watching middle distance and cross country is the extreme exhaustion of the athletes after their event. No other sport leaves you this fatigued. Such amazing effort they are able to give, a true challenge of your determination.
Not a proper high-level championship cross country course. Not even close. More of a steeplechase. Man-made weird little obstacles like a sand pit or a frozen-over water pit and little hurdles. Just my two cents but found the whole thing odd. 😮
Luca Noti finished in 63rd place, time 26;06
Going out as fast as these people are helps them establish positioning within the field without expending too much energy. More confident and talented athletes don’t do this because they know they can get to the front later on as the pack slows.
Muhammad Muhammad of team GB 😂 Yeah that's about right 😂
the runner who came in 2nd is a real homie
I love a front runner! Takes me back to 1971 here in Victoria, Australia. I was in the State under 9 final 2000m cross country race. My late father, then coach, said to me “Go out hard & get clear of everyone!” I said “Ok dad!”🤭 Well I bolted & no one chased. People in the crowd were saying to dad “Oh that poor kid. Doesn’t he know how far it is?!” Dad quietly replied “He knows…” End of the race I won by some 30 seconds!🤣 No one at that age apparently had tried it before. Absolute GOLD! 🥇😂🤣😂🤣 Ok, it’s my claim to fame…🤭
I like how you decided to stop the video before Notti finishes. The title should have been "If Notti finishes, this video ends"
Excellent race, reminds me of my high school cross country races only I ran at a much slower pace. That Jimmy is one smart runner. He timed his kick perfectly!
I thought he was a pacemaker. I gave him the benefit of the doubt🤷🏿♂️

Gressier is just so fun to watch. Love this coverage man!
How about you just comment on the race and strategies used by the runners without calling them idiots. You think you could do better?
Note: The majority of these runners, being U23, are NOT "Professional" runners. They are all Open Grade but Europeans have chosen to have an under 23 age group. Normally there is a Junior Men race (U20) then the Open Grade is age 20 and over. There is no such category as Pro Grade.
Monumental Jimmy 💪
So him going out at 4 min pace is stupid... but the pack at
God bless you guys I am so glad God made you guys!
amazing effort from team France. Formidable.
I only ran one cross country race I can recall I did ok but it was much different than what I was normally used to. I really think the cross country was more natural than just running races on the streets. Wish I had done it more often, mud and all.
"has now dropped patty mayo" lmao
