I remember back when I heard this video was going to be made without studio footage, I was incredibly disappointed, as I loved this song perhaps more than any other in the album. However, the way they cut the live performances of some of her songs, and gave the whole video the neon, psychedelic treatment with almost cyberpunk tones was awesome.

What I love about Madonna is she'll never do the same thing twice. And no matter how good this era was, she won't do it again or replicate it fully in future albums. If you're in a certain mood, go listen to Ray of Light, or if you're angry at America or in a more sorrowful-retrospective mood, go listen to American Life. Each of her albums hold something different. It's like they're all by different artists. She really does kinda have something for everybody.
