really? so if i hit a safe enough landing up air i should immediately buffer waft? is the only option to get out of it spotdodging/rolling?
@@Jesi-xn yea basically but waft is slower now so it isn't as good. You might be able to jump out of it now honestly.
The lylatt counterpick for the all iron resources, was big brain.
lylat sucks tho. you can place tnt or anvil to mine to get only iron from it on every stage except fd,bf, and sbf. and on lylat you cant elytra slide or ledge cancel easily. plus if ur opponent is on cart on the slope it makes them go faster so u cant follow up. plus the slopes mess up pick loops and block placements not that blocks would matter since after all ur starting ones burn ur just left with iron which is too valuable to waste. tnt ledgetraps also dont work since they sometimes might fall off slants. imo lylat sucks for steve unless ur opponent is really really bad against cart

That combo in the first clip aint true btw lol. Also here's some tips for yall as a Wario main
Most of the cast can di a full momentum rising nair starting at around 24%. You SDI and DI down and away, this makes wario unable to get the second hit of nair. Also, you should be DI'ing down and away so you can avoid optimal follow ups out of nair 2 (which is usually up air into waft). A general rule is to never mash anything except DI/SDI'ing and airdodging the second you get hit by wario nair at low percents. Also wario can combo fair, up tilt, and nair one into rising nair so get ready to di out of those combos too. Hope this helped
Nair 2 is an abomination to game design. The amount of times I've been punished for landing nair because the second hit is nonexistent...

Gluto has played years of Smash 4 Wario so a little nerf is nothing compared to those years of low tier suffering
i'm terrible with wario, i always have trouble trying to land the second nair
definitely one of those moves that takes a lot of practice and relies on the player knowing the hitboxes well, you’ve gotta start drifting with the anticipation you’re gonna hit the first one so you’ll already be where the first hit sends them to land the follow up

Nair only hits twice at really low percentages, close to zero. Make sure you are maintaining momentum forward while you are nairing.

Requesting opinions. I'm not certain if Gluto is still currently top 10 or not. The meta has far evolved and for over a year he's been only able to play Europe. Wario also isn't a meta character anymore. So it seems like he has a higher mountain to climb vs other top 10 players who face better competition and have traveled more. Light and Mars aren't top 10 anymore. Just questioning Gluto. What do you guys think?
I know Gluto has always been playing mainly Europe and was still top 10. But like i said the meta has evolved greatly and during that time Gluto traveled some. He hasn't traveled in almost 2 years from my knowledge.
Wario is definitely a meta character still. Glutto is top 10 imo
Considering that 4 people left the top 10(being Nairo, Light, Marss, and Samora) he still has a chance, but it’s going to be barely, if at all. I don’t think he’ll hold up vs Leo, Tweek, and will likely still lose to Tea. I don’t know how him vs Spargo, Proto, Zackary, etc. would go. Not to mention, camping is more prominent, and has always been effective against Wario despite waft (anyone who disagrees, Gluto vs Wrath at Frostbite, you’ll see what I mean).
