the technician awards... should go to technicians that poke 'only' black heads and pimples, not areas that 'look' like they could be poked; to technicians who cause the least amount of pain and of bleeding - so when clients go home, they don’t have more holes and blood that will turn into scabs.
When I was three years old my legs were covered in boils. I remember the pain when my mother was squeezing the infection out, but I learned this works. Wash your face or area to treated. Boil some water. Pour the hot water into a bowl along with a regular teabag (not herbal) so that it seems you are making tea. Let it cool down enough that you can pick up the teabag and place it directly on your pimples, black heads, or boils. Don’t burn your skin but apply the teabag as hot as you can tolerate it on your skin for half a minute and then move it to other areas - keep the teabag quite warm. The acid in the tea will dry up the infection. Try this every night until there are no more active infections. Only use the teabag on infected areas because your skin will dry out. Do not do this after squeezing the infection out because it will stain the pours. Do this as needed. Hopefully you will be able to stop popping and let your skin heal.
If I were to need treatment now, I would want a gentle technician - who leaves very little bleeding and no nail marks.

These pimple popping "professionals" might take heed: Those of us who are mesmerized with pimple popping watch have an education in cyst and zit extraction. We know who the best of the best pimple poppers are. Do to the extensive amount of time we have spent studying this delicate craft, and I mean YEARS, not months, we KNOW precisely what happens if the Amateurs don't get the sebum out, let alone the sac. In truth, WE are the professionals. I've been popping and squeezing since 1964. I have the equivalent of a PhD in Pimple Popping. That means I know all about it. (Buyer beware: The former message has a caveat; You should refrain from letting me anywhere near your mega-cyst with an Xacto blade. It could get messy.

Have you noticed that the fingers are 5 to 6 times larger than your own? Sometimes a lot more! Therefore these whiteheads are just tiny little things, blown up about 6 times larger than they really are

Whiteheads, and blackheads, don't have sacs. Cysts do though.

@@joannemassara8009 It's not a sac, it's a filament/sheath. No wonder people think Vietnamese poppers don't 'clear the pore' they use Dr Lee as the worlds authority. Those little filaments will not refill, and they are dealt with during the cleanup treatments after extractions. The website lists all the treatments they have during the acne sessions, very interesting. When Thuy double/treble pops and gets out a route, those the buggers that become bigger and inflamed. She can feel if there's anything left to take.

Camera work is slowly getting better. Still a bit shakey @ time but doing much better.
It hurts. This patient is well along in treatment. All poppers have return patients, don't they? If it hurts, or the patient has a shorter session, she will choose the ones that are potentially developing into something horrible, or the more obvious ones and get the others in the next session.
What K C said. Also, regarding camera work, I've found from watching hundreds of thuy's videos that honestly? The camera is REALLY steady. I'm pretty convinced it's on a tripod or stabilized somehow. However, with the level of zoom they use, any movement the client makes can potentially knock them out of frame for a sec. Keep in mind, popping hurts. Especially the big ones. So if they flinch, since we're so zoomed in, it looks like theres a lot more movement going on than there really is.
That said, following thuy from pop to pop is ALL on the camera person lol. But another thing to keep in mind is Thuy is viewing the skin at a different angle than the one we see. So there can sometimes be a disconnect between where the camera person thinks shes gonna go, and where she actually goes, since other pimples might catch her eye.

Time constraints/client pain tolerance/a multi-visit treatment plan where some of the pimples may be able to be dealt with another way like a cream or a wash and it's not worth it to pop them when they'll go away on their own/etc
Acne doesnt go away in a single visit where you knock out every single pimple in one fell swoop. There's usually external or genetic factors that will make it return. It's a process.
I promise she knows what she's doing. I wouldn't be here otherwise.

You should squeeze out the pimples thoroughly and not leave any residual dirt on the client's face. The job is not to race speed, but to do a thorough cleaning.
