Now they are, not when it first dropped. Not entirely sure about those lyrics either, as they are often wrong compared to what he sings, or what I hear.. take it or leave it

And of course Danny is allowed to take liberties with his own work, but as far as I can tell the main difference between what is written in the description and what is actually sang is the addition of the conjunction "And" every now and again, which does not change the meaning of the song in any way shape or form.
I could not find them when I first saw the song, minutes after it arrived. Thats why I spent a few listens trying to piece it down for my own sake. There are more, still subtle differences than a few missing "ands". Don't vs. Can't and so on. Makes me wonder if the lyrics in the description is what they wrote down, but they recorded him going ever so slightly off script?

Never have I ever seen an artist be able to effectively and concisely communicate the depths of pain in human experience outside of Danny's lyrics. If only my teenage self had Amigo the Devil to listen to, then I think people would have understood just how much I was suffering. Thank you Amigo the Devil for expressing what words cannot. That's startlingly specific, and a little too close to my own sentiments...
My own vices are a tad bit different-moreso sweets, and overstimming with songs and screens, than fent-but self-loathing is that persistent demon called Legion, because it has a shard in oh so many of us.
I've only started listening to Amigo, but this "Dark Folk" sound, it already feels...like a true home, in an abstract way; like the most comfortable ditch to discard oneself into, or that shitty corner of town that's become sanctuary for meditation.
Live in melancholy and disturbing shit, for long enough, and dark comfort becomes your closest friend. Sometimes my moods lighten up to manic states, but this will be the right sound for when my own cannibal gets hungry.
I know all too well what you mean, I find when my cannibal's pit is growling, listening to songs like this give it something to stuff in it's maw, and spare me being consumed, at least for another day.

Sent this to my cousin who passed away back in 2021 but was resuscitated. I know she's been off and on with sobriety, but I hope she overcomes her cannibal someday.
This song speaks deeply to me. I've been walking a dark path alone fighting off my demons and this song found a chunk in the armor I've put up around myself. The jokes and fake laughter I put forth to hide the hurt I carry inside. The feeling I've been staring out at the world as a prisoner in my own head with my own self loathing and fear of others the warden of my heart. I want to be loved but incapable of it myself driving everything else away cannibalizing myself to survive this lonely path I walk.

After the first listen, it easily became one of my favorite songs of the year and that is saying something. I cant tell you how hard this hits, how deep the words dig into my heart and my soul. It has been a long time since a song spoke to me this personally and made me need to hear it again and again.

I will admit that knowing this was a band effort instead of more of a sole-Danny experience, I was a little worried this would be diluted Amigo somehow. An experience watered-down by outside influence. I have never been so thrilled to eat my own words. This is PEAK Amigo! Everything Ive heard from the album thus-far has been haunting and magnificent in its own way and I cannot wait to finish the album. Kudos to a masterpiece and for succeeding in getting better with every single album and release. 🤘🏻
What other parts of the album have you heard? Stray dog? Crying at the orgy? Except for the xylophone (that fits perfectly) this does sound like Amigo 100% Happy to see that the band is not taking anything away from that, only adding to it.
