This video was definitely different from the usual, but honestly, PlayStation should just stick to what made them great in the first place instead of whatever this was...
Man, I was just going to comment this. You should seriously consider in-depth videos about some game you like or a specific genre and why you like it or the rise/downfall of a series. It would definitely increase your credibility and give you a bigger audience. Even starting some "reviews" about games like RE4 remake, DS, DOOM Eternal, TLOU II, etc whatever you really like the most!
@@mouinTolemat Yeah man gotcha! I will surely start making more content like this, thanks for the suggestion! I will personally talk about some specific games or game series that I really love, that idea sounds great!
It's so FITTING this Turkey took an INSANE 400 million to make. When you consider how Woaakkee'sters are always TOO pre-occupied with their agennda, to concern themselves with concepts like "budgeting" and "profits". They act like money is no object, as long as it checks off the right boxes for "reprezentation".
Single player is the way. Little to no live service. No concerns about cheaters. Low stress. Tons of incredible genres and options. Pause at any moment as life happens. No toxic lobbies.
I don’t know who’s running PlayStation right now, but they are already in damage control. Outside of the very awesome games they put out like Astro Bot (which I easily earned a Platinum trophy just two weeks after launch), Stellar Blade, and Elden Ring DLC, you have live-service games that failed to outmatch the success of Helldivers II. Square failed Foamstars, Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones was nothing but barebones, WB’s Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League tanked, and now, Sony’s Concord is left penniless. ArrogantStation is what they’re called right now. I’ve been a PlayStation console fan for 28 years from the PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5. But now, what’s their identity? This generation is getting out of hand.
No way you wrote Sony put out Elden Ring's DLC. 💀 But honestly though I don't see the point of owning a PS5, let alone a PS5 Pro. It's crazy to me that the PS5 and Switch are dead even in monthly sales when the PS5 has barely any exclusive games worth playing. For anything outside of Nintendo's games and indie titles that are nice to be able to take with you, PC is the way to go IMO. The upfront cost will be quite a bit more, but you will quickly make it back and start saving money since you don't need to pay a subscription fee which is $155+tax a year for Extra or $190 for Premium. Then with Steam/GoG sales, bundles and Steam key stores you can get games for super cheap. I got 7 games +all the DLC for the 2 that have any recently for about $85 CAD, which is at least how much a single new game on PS5 would cost.
@@100organicfreshmemes5PC would be nice if the price of components wasn't bullshit in my country. Also, I don't like digital only games. I like buying physical copies and that market has been destroyed by the Steam monopoly since a decade now. I also don't want to deal with Windows more than I have to at work (Linux gaming is still not as seamless). After 9 hours of writing code for my work, the last thing I want to do is come home and sit in front of my PC. I used to be a PC gamer 3 years ago but I had been drifting away from gaming slowly because I just didn't want to be on my PC all day. My wife noticed that and bought me a PS5 on Black Friday with some games. It has been an absolute blast ever since. I am playing on my PS5 almost everyday. Also love how PC gamers act like there are no problems with it. Most games are horribly optimized on PC up until 6-12 months after launch. Also gaming on a TV with a PC is terrible. It's nowhere near as seamless and pick n play as a console. With consoles I can just put them to sleep and pick up where I left off the next day. That is not as straightforward on PC. I get 1-1.5 hours of playtime a day. So I value little conveniences like these more than pretty graphics and modding.
3 things that brought Sony to where it is now: 1. Success of games like Uncharted, TLOU, etc meant that made them think that all people want is expensive cinematic games. 2. Success of games like Fortnite and MS buying CoD. Sony wants its own cashcow and to them, it's worth spending 3-4 billion on it because they will make that money back and then some with those cash cow live services games in the long run. 3. Closing down of small studios that made fun and or quirky games in order to fund points 1 and 2. This is why Sony feels stale today and games like Astrobot and Ratchet Rift Apart feel so fresh and fun. Back then, Sony had God of War, Heavy Rain, MGS4, GT, etc but they also had Wipeout, Parapa the rappa, Journey, Patapon, etc. There was an awesome balance between AA and AAA games. Today, there are no AA games from Sony.
Concord is the first AAA game that the art direction is so damn bad that it was one of the main factor which killed the game. 400M and they didn't even get basic design principles right
Thanks! I made this video to offer something different for the audience, and honestly, I was really frustrated with this situation. We deserve some fresh single-player games from Sony.
It's important to note that the $400 million figure comes from a single source, a podcaster, who supposedly talked to an insider in the company. I'm not saying it's impossible, but take it with a grain of salt until we get further proof. The podcaster has been wrong before too. I'm sticking with the $200 million story for now.
You have to admit at this point you have to genuinely start to wonder if there's some shady agreement between the two governments and that 400 millions is just japan's tribute to its' master. 😑
You want more remasters? I mean i thought we bought next gen consoles to play next gen games. You seriously want more old games resold with better graphics?
Yeah, I figured this video wouldn’t get as much attention since it’s a bit of a departure from the usual content, but I really wanted to make it anyway... As for the State of Play, I’d give it a solid 7/10. Ghost of Yotei looks awesome, and I’m hyped for it, but I was hoping we’d see more from some of the other PlayStation studios too.
@@PixelDragonOfficial oh yeah I see where you’re coming from; well maybe a review for a game you play a lot would be nice? like an introspection on a game you’ve been playing

Just a piece of advice, completely mute the videos on the background. It’s slightly hard to focus on your words when I hear “THE F*CK YOU SAY?!” In the background. Other than that, amazing video!

Why it's so expensive is that they hire people who aren't gamers and who hates gamers
